Erin reached out and gripped her arm, holding tightly as he led her towards the house and front door. He quickly opened the door. Immediately he was greeted by the sound of loud laughter, music and talking. Quickly making his way to the living room he saw the origin of the commotion, on the couches sat four guys talking and laughing while two girls danced to the music, joining in on the conversation every now and then.

"Well who is this," said one of the guys, "Brought us a friend have you?" He had a thick Irish accent and was staring closely at Courtney. By now the music was turned off and all attention was on the girl in Erin's grip. "I know for a fact that everyone has their own place so why the hell do you guys always wanna get wasted at mine?" Questioned Erin, humor obvious in his tone.

"Can't help ourselves," replied the Irish one, "But in all seriousness, who did ya bring the girl for?"
"No one O'Connel, she's not for any of you." Replied Erin. "Keeping her for yourself huh? That's good, you haven't had a girl in ages," came the reply

Ignoring the last comment Erin spoke, "I'm going to show our.. Guest to her room now." before shoving her forward lightly and going towards the stairs.

The upstairs floor only had a long hallway with three doors, stopping at the farthest door he turned the doorknob and walked in. It was a simple bedroom, with a queen sized bed in the middle and a night stand on each side. There was a large window currently hidden behind closed curtains and to the right of the door was a wooden closet.

Then to the left side was the door to the bathroom. "See, it's not so bad." Said Erin as he shut the door behind him. "Now, give me any and all electronics you have on you. And before you refuse just let me make it clear, either you give them to me or I'll frisk you and find them myself." He stated, "Option number two is one that I wouldn't mind." He added with a cocky smirk.

"And I was hoping you were going to choose option number two," he said with a chuckle before taking the phone from her. He searched through the phone looking for Daniel's number. He quickly memorized it before dropping it on the floor and crushing it under his boot.

"If news gets out that you're missing that might cause a small problem, considering they could've tracked it. So I hope there wasn't anything too important on there." He then bent down and picked up what remained of the cellular device and threw them into the trash bin in the corner, "Now, tell me about your dream fella, pretty boy Daniel."

"Yes Daniel, your knight in shining armor," said Erin before kicking off his boots and moving to lay down flat on his backon the bed, with his hands behind his head, "Anything, everything. Considering hes the one that's going to pay for your safe return, any information that can make the soon to be transaction run smoother.."

"You can sit down you know, I won't bite." He said, referring to the edge of the queen bed, "Well, that is, unless you ask me to," he added dropping his right eye in a wink.

"Well I might not know him personally, but I know his type." Came Erin's reply. He swung his legs over the side of the bed and then stood up, "It's late, you should get some sleep, there should be some clothes in the closet from our previous.. Guest." he said before walking to the door.

"The window is bolted shut and I'm locking this door, so even if you tried you wouldn't be able to get out." He said as his hand dug into his pocket to pull out the key to the door. "But if by chance you do get a lucky break and escape," he paused for a moment and his face became very serious, "I will find you."

Erin finished locking the door when a person appeared behind him, releasing a sigh he spoke, "What can I do for you O'Connel."
"Alex and Tyler told me about the whole ransome plan with the girl," said the Irishman, "I thought she was a hooker or something, you know I don't hurt girls." He added with a serious face.

"Well luckily that's not something you have to worry about, she'll be under my care. No one else's. Besides you knew this was going to happen eventually, so I suggest you just let the issue go." Replied Erin before going to his own room and quickly stripping out of everything but his boxers before climbing into the bed.

The next morning Erin woke up to a silent and messy house. Everyone from last night had left but decided to leave the living room looking ridiculous. He lazily removed himself from bed and pulled on a pair of grey sweatpants. Leaving his upper body bare.

After he went to inspect the damage downstairs, he trudged back up and immediately went to Courtney's room. Erin quickly unlocked the door then stepped in, "Wake up blondie," He said as he tiredly rubbed his eyes. "I've got work for you to do downstairs."

"Yes work, turns out my buddies decided to make a mess of my living room and take off before cleaning it. So your going to spend the morning cleaning up," He explained as he crossed his arms infronf of his chest. His gaze travelled all over her current appearance, Shes definitely not ugly

"After cleaning up you can get some breakfast and then your gonna help me contact Daniel." He finished with a smirk

He chuckled, "True, your phone is no longer in working condition but I memorized his number so that shouldn't be a problem." He stated.

"And do you know what a burner cell is? It's a phone that is untraceable and can mimick any collar I.D." He explained, "but I'm not going to call him, I'm just going to send a simple text with an audio attachment of you telling him to give us the money. Now get up and meet me downstairs."

"I've already told you that the why is not important," he paused for a a moment, "But since you've been so cooperative, the reason all this is happening is because you were just at the wrong place at the wrong time," he finished, "Now that we've gotten that question out of the way, let's go."

He walked out of the room leaving the door open and made his way to the kitchen where he got two trash bags.

"Trust me, this is the last thing that I want to do right now," said Erin in an annoyed tone. On the floor were empty beer bottles and cans, and on the table in the middle stood dirt dishes, empty crisp bags and what looked to be a t-shirt.

"You know, this doesn't have to be such a bad thing," said Erin, "You staying here I mean." He clarified as he shoved a bottle into the trash bag, "Most girls would kill to be in your position. All alone. In my house. With me," he said with a suggestive smirk,

He stared at her intensely as she went to the kitchen. Erin dropped the trash bag on the floor and followed close behind. And when she stood at the sink he came behind her and lowered his lips to her ear, "Trust me, I've noticed," he whispered.

"Your different, it's... Refreshing. You don't automatically want to jump into my bedroom, and I like that." He added. His hand stayed at his sides, but his upper torso was grazing against her back.

He raised an eyebrow at her reply before shrugging, "Whatever you say sweetheart. I know that the only reason a girl would stay with someone that's rarely around is either a. He has money, or b. Everytime me sees her he makes sure she can't forget him."

He laughed to himself as if he remembered an inside joke then continued, "But then again, you said you're not like most girls so give me the reason you stay with him."

He let out a laugh and smirked at her before reaching into the drawer with both hands. In his left was the cellphone and in his right was a handgun, "Trust me sweetheart, you're not going to refuse," he said turning around and bringing the gun into view.

He pressed a few buttons on the phone then handed it to her, "If you want me to tell you what to say then ask. But you're a smart girl, I think you can do just fine on your own." Said Erin, "Just press record,"

Erin smiled and gave her a thumbs up before taking the phone from her grip and pressing stop. "See, now wasn't that just the easiest thing in the world?" He said in another one of his patronizing tones.

His gaze focused on the phone and he typed in a message. After a few seconds of thinking and typing he pressed send and put the phone back into the drawer, but put the gun in the back of his waistband, "Now, if your Prince Charming loves you as much as you claim he does, it will only be a matter of time before you leave."

Erin walked to the front door and opened it, "Ah, Michael, your early," said Erin as he stepped aside to let the man in. "Yes well, I was excited for my shipment." Replied the tall dark haired man. "Alright, it's in the garage," said Erin pointing towards the kitchen where the door leading to the garage was.

"I also heard you had a new play thing." Said Michael with a devious smirk. Of course you did.
"Yea well, she's being used for money, nothing else." Said Erin. Michael laughed, "Yea right, let me meet her," he added. "No." Said Erin with a serious expression.

"Lighten up Erin!" He said with a chuckle, "I bet she's staying in the nice room upstairs." And then he walked up the staircase and made his way into her room. "Where is she?" He questioned. "Dammit Michael I said no!" Said Erin as he started to get aggitated. "Don't be a loser, I bet she's in the bathroom." And then their was a clicking sound. Michael turned around and saw Erin pointing the handgun straight at him, "Erin what are you doing?"

"I said no, now you can just forget about the merchandise and get the hell out of my house." Replied Erin giving Michael a glare. "You can't be serio.." Then their was the deafening sound of a gunshot, in the wall right next to Michael's head was a bullet hole, "I missed on purpose. Get. Out." Said Erin his anger at the breaking point. Michael didn't wait any longer than a second before running out, and then the only sound was the front door slamming shut and a car speeding off.
