    "You're a good apprentice. You learn quick." Salixtwist gave a smile to the tom. "Your apprenticeship will go quicker then you think." She remembered when she had been Salixpaw, training to be a medicine cat, under her mentor. The memories. The young daughter of Gravelstar and Cyanthro looked at Javertpaw, eyes showing friendliness.

    Salixtwist looked around, her eyes round. For at least two moons, she hadn't seen the medicine cat apprentice. So it was time to do what she had to do. "Medicine cats, from now on, Islapaw is demoted, I haven't seen her around in awhile." With a nod of her head, she remained there, waiting to see the medicine cat's and medicine cat apprentice's reactions.

    "Everyone medicine cat apprentice has a hard time at first. In the beginning, I got every herb confused with one another. It's a hard path, training, but it get's easier, as you get more experience, and the such." Smiling at her apprentice, she felt so proud of him. "I can trust you to do well with this career, I know I can. Make your mother proud, aim to get the position she trained so hard for to get herself."

    "Not all of them, little one. Some of them are muddy, some of them are sticky. Cobwebs are probably the stickiest, but them being sticky means they're good at stopping cats from bleeding to death." She let out a sigh. "Although, sometimes, the blood just seeps through the cobwebs and... kills the cat. But that's just the call of nature..."

    "Mother, had I better come along, too, so I can help heal the wounded?" Salixtwist mewed to her mother, Gravelstar, eyes full of concern. "Aren't Bloodclan getting tired of all the battle?" she asked herself, sighing. This was about the fifth time Sunclan had asked Windclan to help them out in battle.

    Kairi's eyes closed, as she began to think. If she wasn't careful, she'd go rocketing into depression, and no one would be able to help her. At this moment in time, she needed Retrospect, but where the fuck was he? No where to be seen. This was her second litter, and he was one of the father's, yet he never came to see her. She felt like he was betraying her. Maybe she'd be better of without a lover.

    The young black serval kitten had only joined SkyClan a few days ago, yet he felt... he felt so at home, so happy. He padded out of the nursery, his black pelt clean. He had spent quite a while grooming it, and now, he looked smart, like his name said. Smartkit. Looking around, he found himself wanting to do something. He padded in the direction of a den, his head held high. Little did he know, that the den he was padding into was the medicine cat den.

    "Hello sir," Smartkit mewed, looking at the tom. "I'm Smartkit, it's a pleasure to meet you. I just came to say hello, and well... introduce myself, and see if you guys in the medicine den needed anything." Blinking up at the tom, the black serval waited for a reply, his eyes round.

    Grinning, Smartkit leaped after the cat, his bounds rather big, eyes round. "What's it like, Habitmirth? Being a medicine cat n' all?" Grinning, he found himself eager to be out, eager to be helping in every way he could. "What herbs are we looking for in particular?"

    Salixtwist was in a bad mood, due to having to deal with cats caught eating catnip, only to get drunk, and they had known that they'd have gotten drunk. It really annoyed her when cats got into her store, stole herbs, and used them, wasted them. They didn't know how long it took her to find her herbs. "Hello Rocketpaw," she mewed flatly.

    "The sun, how it burns," Wolfkit said, with a sigh. "I don't know why, but the sun sometimes gives me a headache. Although today, there is not a single sign of a headache. Only sometimes do headaches occur."

    occ; omfg yes and his motto could be 'You're pulling on my heart strings!'

    ic;

    The tired medicine cat raised an invisible eyebrow as she saw a cat, heading into the medicine cat den. "Hello," she mewed, looking at the figure of the cat. "How can I help you... Heartpaw?" she asked, hoping she had gotten the right name. There was so many names for her to remember in the clan, it was almost unbelievable. Most of the cats in the clan, she had met many times, and had even been at their birthing's.

    Salixtwist gave a small smile to the kit, as if to tell the kit she had done nothing wrong. "So, do you still want to go for a walk?" she asked, getting to her paws, feeling a little bit tired of sitting around. "We could go to the gorge, if you want," she added, eyes sparkling. "It'd actually be quite nice to go to the gorge. I could pick some herbs while I'm there..."
