Yumi walked slowly down the sidewalk to school. The streets were packed with kids, but none the less, she could see where she was going. She looked across the street as she saw movement and heard voices. A girl with red hair flying behind her was running toward a boy who looked about her age. They must go to school together. Maybe they go with me, but of course I wouldn't notice them.

"Eh?" Hana's eyes widened and she pulled back from him. "N-no-" Rin interrupted her and stood, rattling the chair he'd sat in. "She's only just met Rei! And you think she's lesbian? Who do you think you are?"

Jódan finished his food and set his plate beside the sink. He gathered his trash and threw it away. He smiled at Kami. "What should we now?"

Hana put her hood over her head and muffled her sniffles. Rin crossed his arms over his chest and rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah. I'm lucky, big deal I kissed two pretty girls in one day. I guess I'm famous now! Don't you think?" He mocked throwing his head from side to side.

Yumi rolled her eyes. They'll never survive depending on other people. She thought, looking straight ahead of her.

Now I guess.

Maru's breath came fast as she walked, trying not to alarm the Forgiven. Her fists clenched and unclenched at her sides and her eyes hurt from glaring so hard. Her nose flared as she took deep breaths. She had to remember not to speak. It was hard, denying what you've been taught for so long. But as they began to throw Ameru down again, she couldn't take it, her feet began to move. She stood in front of Ameru and took the hard glares and curled lips of the Forgiven. She watched them cock their heads as they took her all in. She watched their eyes widen as they realized all she was.

Maru lifted her chin in defiance and fumed, struggling to contain herself. She knew she shouldn't speak so instead slowly knelt down beside Ameru, her eyes still on the smug Forgiven. She gathered Ameru in her arms slowly and held her to her chest. Though shaking in anger, Maru sighed inside, Ameru was alive.

Tawny scrunched her eyebrows as loud noise were heard from down the hall. She peeked out from behind her locker door and raised an eyebrow as she looked out into the hallway. She took the stuff that she needed and stuck it under her armpit and slammed her locker closed. She sighed and then swiped a piece of hair from her eyes and proceeded down the hallway.

Tawny looked slowly around the corner and saw a girl talking to a bunch of guys. She was asking directions to a class, but Tawny couldn't quite hear. She walked out from around the corner and stood beside Saeko. "Is there something you need help with hon?" She eyed suspiciously at the boys who were obviously making all the noise.

Tawny threw a hand over her mouth and her face turned slightly pink. "Aww, no need to call me princess, I'm just like you. If I'm a princess, then you are too!" She smiled and then laughed when she realized what she'd said rhymed. " Ah, sorry sweetie, I talk to darn much!"

Tawny saw the small girl peek around the corner and smiled. "Ahh! I love your hair!"
