The ginger kit snuggled deeper into the warmth emanating just in front of him. How he just wanted to sleep. Instead he had to deal with the cold, the noise and the loss of peace following his arrival into the world. It had been so blissfully silent back then. Ah, the good old times.

He tucked his tail around him, squeezing his eyes tightly shut, too tired to do anything but doze off into the welcoming darkness.

-- haven't roleplayed kits for the longest time uvu

-- Chocolate eyes wide open, the ginger tabby stumbled out of the nursery, surveying his surroundings with wonder-filled oculars. Who would've known that the camp actually seemed so big and boundless? He'd been cooped up in the nursery for who knows how long, and he was finally ready to take it on. One flame-coloured furball against the world.

Of course, that was considering he didn't turn the world topsy-turvy with his explosive energy first.

-- ahh crabs I'm so sorry I'm really inactive nowadays 3:

    He took a deep breath.
"Hello everyone, I'm Raijuu. It's really nice to meet all of you. I don't think I've ever seen you before. I'd really like for you to be my friends. Would it be alright if we're friends?" The kit would've continued babbling had he not, mercifully, paused for a much-needed gasp of air.
Raijuu really could talk anyone's ear off, it seemed.

"Raijuu." The ginger kitten replied to both felines. "Or maybe just Rai. It's great to meet all of you. Let's be friends! Then we can all play together." There he went, running his mouth again. He really needed to know his boundaries.
"Anyway, you both have nice names." Deciding to finish with a compliment--Stereoheart had always told him to be polite--he smiled at the other twp, hoping he hadn't scared away his companions.

-- A new face! He'd never seen this one before. Bounding up to the others, the ginger tabby announced, "Hi, my name's Raijuu! What's yours?" before sitting down, chocolate oculars gleaming.
New faces equated to new acquaintances, and befriending others was one of the things he loved most.

-- "Oh, hi, Honeysuckle!" The kit bounded up to them, hoping she'd recognise him-- he'd only met her a few days before, and it would've been awkward if she didn't. "What's music? Is it a game? Or perhaps edible?" He tilted his head, confusion flitting over his features for a moment.
Food was one of his top priorities at the moment, if you could tell.

-- Oh, he definitely wanted to come along, so he scampered after the group as fast as his legs could carry him. Which was, thankfully, fast enough, so he was able to screech to a halt after Wolfram. He wouldn't miss out on a trip for the world. Tagging along behind the others, his tail wavered excitedly in the air, chocolate oculars conveying the same sentiment.

The kitten whisked his tail in the air, chocolate visionaries sparkling with pure exaltation. "Yes! Thanks, Honey! I know how you feel, too, there are some who don't seem to like me, maybe 'cause I'm too overexcited... I try, but I can't really help it." Ears drooping, he turned to Kioshi. "Aww, don't say that. I'm sure you'd be a great friend!"

The tom started slightly as the first strains of the melodies poured in through the earbuds, not being used to such contraptions. The music was beautiful, he had to admit, reminiscent of seashells and the break of waves against the shore, and he found himself humming along to the catchy tune. Letting out a small sigh of reluctance when the song was over, he turned to Honey. "It's beautiful. I love it. You're so lucky to have found this."

-- ahh whoops I forgot to reply @honey
yup, raijuu rambles! he's really energetic and can't stop himself from going on and on sometimes uvu
don't worry I ship it too

Ooh, someone new. "Hello, Gendry! That's a really unique name. It's great to meet you too!" The tom tipped his head back to greet the taller male. "And thanks, Honey, but really, perhaps I do have to learn how to control myself. It's not really good to have a hyperactive kit running around on camp grounds all the time y'know." He patted his head with an apologetic paw. "I'm working on it, but, well, it takes time, I guess."

He brightened up at this. "I do, actually! I like to think I bring joy to the Clan." Ducking his head in a bid to avoid Honey's paw to no avail, he smiled sheepishly up at her before continuing, "I have two younger brothers, though, and I don't think it'd be very good if I influenced them. HawkClan probably has enough bundles of energy to worry about." The ginger kit couldn't help puffing out his chest a little as he went on-- he had an ego the size of the world. "Besides, I'd prefer if I were the only one. Others will notice me more that way."

-- The ginger kitten bounded out of the nursery, chocolate oculars brightening at the prospect of a new day. He really was looking forward to making new friends, considering how his prospective friendship with Honey a few days ago had gone quite well, so he stooped outside the entrance of the nursery, sleek tail rippling from back to forth, a little furball of boundless energy ready to blow anyone who stopped to talk to him off their feet.

-- Ooh, someone new! New faces meant new friends, and friends were always good news, in his opinion. "Looking for friends!" The kit replied excitedly to the feline in front of him. Funny, he didn't have to tilt his head back to look at the other male, which left him wondering if the newcomer was actually just still apprentice-aged. Still, if he were to be a prospective friend, Raijuu figured that it would be beneficial if he just shut his mouth for once and let the thought fly over his head. "I'm Raijuu. What's your name? I've never seen you around before, I think." Needless to say, he was bubbling with anticipation at the notion of a new friendship forged. He hadn't really made any, due to his overenergetic personality.

--"Oh? You don't think that I'm stuck-up?" He almost couldn't believe his ears. Usually when he acted like that, other would call him out on it, telling him that he needed to stop being so full of himself. Well, arrogance was in his nature, and for the longest time it had semed that no one truly understood what it was like for him. Finally, he'd found someone who did.
"...That was kinda a strange question to ask, I guess. It's just that everyone else told me to tone down my ego."

-- "Likewise, Noya!" He chirped, bouncing on his toes. Finally, someone else like him! For the longest time, he'd been getting crap from others about his limitless energy, being told over and over again to 'set a good example for your brothers, Raijuu, one hyperactive bundle of fur is more than enough'. No one seemed to really understand him. Now, it looked like there was one who would, and if Noya did turn out to share his wild enthusiasm for life, he was ready to start thanking his lucky stars. "Yup, I'm a kit. And you're a warrior?" He returned, earthen-hued oculars brilliant with carefree youthfulness.

-- D: i'm going to miss the bby so much

He'd heard that quite a few members were leaving, but to tell the truth, he hadn't really been impacted much by their departure, for he only knew them vaguely. But he knew Honey, who'd laughed along with him, encouraged him, been little furballs of energy with him.

"Honey." Having just joined the knot of felines, the ginger kit stretched his limbs as far up as they would go, peering over the tops of heads to catch a glimpse of the cheetah cub. "Uh, good luck? I'm sorry you're leaving, but since you'll be visiting, it'll still be okay, I guess. Come find me whenever you're back, okay? I'll miss playing with and talking to you but if you were to visit it could just be like old times and, uh, I think I'll shut up now."

He sat back down on his haunches. Damn, he'd gone off babbling again. Great job, Raijuu. Way to go. Encourage the habit you were trying to break. His shoulders slumped just a little.

Honey's leaving? But she was my first friend.

And come to think of it, maybe his only close one too.

"I know." He touched the tip of Honey's ear with his nose, words eluding him for once. "I wish I could, too." And he really did, but there was still Armin and Tsukishima to think about, as well as his brothers, and he doubted his parents would let him leave at the moment, considering his age. Maybe when he was older, but probably not right now.

He took a moment to collect his thoughts. "Maybe when I grow up, I'll be able to visit you, if you can't come back. If it's okay with you." An attempt at a smile hung loosely on his jaw.

"Until then, it's goodbye, I guess. Oh, and good luck. Please stay safe."
