Clearrains voice was soft and slow, it was clear that he was still recovering from his BlizzardClan attack when he opened his mouth to speak. The tabby felt like he was fighting a loosing battle. Wasn't he? He had stormed into Bloodclan with the accusation that someone had raped their Shamaness, but he didn't have any definitive conclusions or proof....they called him crazy, and maybe they were right.

Clearrain's expression was soft as he leaned his cheek against Sakurapaw, ears tilting back as he found himself at a loss of what to say. He could feel her tears leaking through his thick pelt, and he'd be lying to say that he didn't have some of his own burning the edges of his vision. What came next even startled him, the words slipping out before he even realized what had just naturally come. "I-I love you-"

There was a tight feeling in his chest like those words were his last, heart beating wildly in his chest as his ears burned with embarassment. Had he really just said that...? No, that was in his head! No...maybe? He bit his tongue, eyes closing tightly.

I want a daddy's girl/boy. Clear and Sakura are in a relationship now, so he's gonna take GOOD care of these babies

Clearrain and Sakurapaw are been friends since they were kits, and we're about to be something more when Sakurapaw was raped on Hawkclan territory. Torn about his feelings he fought to find her attacker, and when he couldn't he apologized to Sakurapaw and confessed his feelings for her. The rest is history.

He is promising to be the kits Father, and will raise them as if they were his own. As for Sakurapaw's rapist...he hasn't given up on finding them, and the moment they make themselves known he's going to go try and bring them to justice. He's never going to tell the kits that they're not his, and he's going to protect the litter till the end of the earth. This isn't his litter, but they are his babies. :P

Because they're both young, I'd assume the feeling is more 'darn fate' than 'yay!' because it isn't a litter of love that they planned out...but that doesn't mean that the kits will be treated as if they were mistakes. By the time the kittens are born I'm sure Sakurapaw and Clearrain will be ready to face it together as a happy, united front. They're just getting to that point.

Clearrain hadn't been told, but the fleeting doubt and suspicion had nibbled away at his mind ever since the Shamaness had begun to swell. He would pad in quietly and offer her a small squirrel he had caught just outside of the castles gates, paw pads feeling numb as he took a seat next to her by the fire.
