A small shadow quietly rustled their head through the bushes. He exhaled. In DarkClan, nothing much really ever happened. Surely his mentor wouldn't mind if he explored a bit. However, the tom felt unsure. Stepping out boldly, the tom could feel the warmth of the sun that the earth had sucked in under his paws, making them tingle. Copper eyes that fit perfectly into the strong skull, reflected the light of the sky. That was when the small cat caught the sight of the different shaped and sized cats. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea... Spinning lightly, the light shone on his sleek tortie-and-white pelt. He started to pad away casually when he suddenly heard the snap of a twig beneath him.CRRRK! In annoyance, he lifted his paw.

His insides turned to slush. For a few moments he stood there, panicking. Turn around or walk away? Making the decision of risking a glance over the shoulder, he would realise he would regret it.
