Aldric trotted up beside Luke, something seemed a bit off about his friend, but he supposed he'd ignore that for now. "I'd be up for one." The hyena replied, he was pretty bored himself and decided he could use something to entertain himself. A patrol would be fun.

The captain wandered over, his face appeared exhausted as he let out a yawn. "Hey Luke." He greeted his friend with a wave of his tail. Sitting down, the hyena scratched his ear with a paw and looked at Luke with his amber optics, something seemed a bit off about the wolf.

Since his recent promotion to Captain, Aldric had been considering the different choices of the air force, navy, and army. After a good few hours of sitting in his room thinking, the hyena had reached his decision. The navy. He was a pretty decent swimmer, well in his hyena form anyway, so why not? Wandering down to the ocean, Captain Everard called out to anyone nearby. "Water combat training, anyone interested is welcome to join." Hopefully someone would be interested, training by himself would be rather boring. And the Insignia could use some naval training, what if they had to fight someone like Riverclan, who were trained all their life to fight underwater?

The hyena leaped off of the train, looking this newcomer over with amber optics. So this was an African Wild Dog, he had never actually met one before. "Name 'n business, please?" Aldric asked, though he was already pretty certain he knew why this guy was here.

A raid? Sounds fun. Aldric grinned before running off in the direction of the Covenant.

Aldric arrived at the scene, for once he wasn't late. So this was the Covenant, ay? Didn't seem like too much of a challenge. "Come out and fight, you s*heads!" The hyena growled, drawing his lip back to reveal sharp, knife-like fangs. The Insignian Captain wasn't exactly the bloodthirsty type, but he had been in the mood to break some heads lately, so this would be fun.

The hyena turned to Mabel and laughed, finally someone had shown up. "It's funny how dumb you are." He laughed again before lunging at her and aiming to ram into her flank, which would cause her to to be thrown a few feet off.

The hyena simply stepped out of the way and laughed again, no way he would let this kid get the better of him. He was a self-proclaimed 'demon', after all. "Aw come on 'star', you'll have to do better than that." Aldric taunted, waving his tail mockingly. Wes was right, this kid wasn't doing a very good job of intimidating him.

Although the hyena had been there to welcome him into the Insignia, he was pretty sure he forgot to introduce himself. Well, better late than never, right? "The name's Aldric. I'm the other Captain." The shapeshifter dipped his head respectfully as he padded up beside Caroline, greeting her with a wave of his tail.

Aldric snarled irritably as Mabel's claws skimmed the side of his face. He didn't know what she was talking about, but she was beginning to piss him off. Rearing up on his hind legs, the hyena attempted to crash back down on his opponent and grab her throat between his jaws, biting down with as much force as he could manage. He wasn't the type to harm a defenseless kitten but something about this one really made him mad.

"Thanks, I appreciate it." The hyena barked in reply to Caroline and Jethro. Alright, now that they had an even number, they could start. Aldric waded into the ocean, the water was a bit cold, but he'd just have to deal with that. "Um... Okay so I guess we could do some sparring if you guys are up for it?" The shapeshifter suggested, honestly he had never really done this before so he was just going with what seemed right.

Aldric sniffed, a powerful paw aiming to keep Mabel pinned against the ground. "I'm afraid I'm not allowed to tell you that." The hyena growled tauntingly, no way was he going to tell this kid anything. If she really wanted to know, she'd just have to beat him. The Insignian Captain raised his other paw and attempted to slam it down on his enemy.

Aldric tilted his head slightly, still not releasing his grip on the Covenant apprentice. "Wait, was this kid's name Dipper?" He did vaguely remember someone by that name, but didn't he die or something? The hyena shook his head, whatever, that wasn't his problem. Did she just call him a soggy dorito? Wow, this kid really needed some new vocabulary.

"'Fraid not, shooting star. You'll have to defeat me before I tell you anything." Aldric growled, beginning to tire of this kid's constant rambling, would she ever shut up? The hyena aimed to bite down on the apprentice's throat again. He was getting pretty bored of fighting, hopefully someone more challenging would show up soon, or maybe this kid would at least put up a better fight now that he had told her she'd have to beat him to get the answer to her question.

Out of the corner of his amber optics, the hyena spotted Refinedgrace and just barely dodged her attack, causing him to release Mabel and completely ignore her attacks. An enraged snarl escaped the hyena's opened maw, if there was one thing he hated more than kids it was lions. He absolutely despised them. Circling this new challenger, the Insignian Captain narrowed his eyes, searching the lioness for any weak points. There. Lunging forward, the hyena attempted to fake her out by making it appear as though he was going to claw at her face, but instead aimed to trip her by swiping his paw underneath her and dig his dagger-like fangs into her shoulder.

The hyena stifled a yelp as the lioness bit him and pulled away, unintentionally dodging her second attack. Knowing he would have no chance of pinning down an animal bigger than himself, Aldric would have to find another way of beating Refinedgrace. Crouching, the Insignian took in a deep breath before aiming to leap on top of his new opponent and dig his claws into her spine. If he succeeded in doing so, the hyena would attempt to snap his jaws around her neck.

The hyena managed to spin out of range of Refinedgrace's attack, however he wasn't as lucky with Coriolanus as he found himself caught in the tiger's jaws, pain erupting in his neck as he was bitten and thrown aside. Quickly pulling himself to his feet, Aldric growled, shaking his head to rid himself of the pain searing through his body. 'Damn.' The Insignian shapeshifter growled, "Come on now, two on one is hardly fair." He moaned, somewhat irritated, though this would make things significantly more interesting. Where were the Skulls? Weren't they supposed to be helping them? No matter, he would fight these two as long as he could. Letting out a fearsome roar, the hyena rushed Coriolanus, aiming to slam his left paw into the side of the tiger's striped face, hopefully stunning him long enough for the hyena to tear into his throat with his powerful fangs.

The hyena trotted up beside Nawvlee, a low growl rumbling in his throat. "Friggin' Dominionites." He muttered under his breath, this kid was lucky he didn't slaughter her right here and now. "I'm Aldric, but you can address me as Captain Everard, Domion trash." Aldric spat, his lips drawn back into a snarl.
