Leappaw wiped away the tear with his tail, pressing more into her fur to comfort her.
"I know just how you feel.. I lost my father and sisters in a storm like this. I never saw them again..." Leappaw mewed.

Leappaw felt his spirits brighten up a bit because he was next to a cat that he felt like he trusted enough to expose his feelings.
"It's okay. What happens happens. Some cats say forget about them, but I remember them so when I become a warrior, they will know that I fought like warrior while thinking of them." He mewed.

Hopkit froze in terror and wailed so loudly any cat across the territory would hear it.

"Join what?" he mewed as he punced on this cat's paws.

"Then explain to me why Hopkit is shivering like a tree just almost crushed him?!" Redwing's normal yellow eyes were glistening with orange-red

Tillkit looked at Killerheart with HUGE eyes. (im talkin HUGE...) he was too big.. Tillkit shrank under the shadow beneath the big warrior.

Redwing calmed down and let her fur on her neck lay flat again.
"Well I want you to report this to Stormstar, Goldenapple. We don't want trouble without discussion first." Redwing mewed as she led Hopkit into the nursery.

Hopkit's "twin" sister, Leafkit, was curled asleep next to him.His brother, Windkit, was lying on his back, sleeping in the curve of his mother's belly.

Thhe kits roused and Windkit greeted Liliackit "hello," he tipped his head to one side, "Whatcha doing?" he asked.

Windkit laughed a bit too. then he leaped onto Liliackit and nibbled her neck, pretending to bite her neck.

Leappaw saw two cats walk outside the den and he felt immediately worried for them.
What if they get hurt by the storm out there? He wondered. But he didn't want to disturb Rose. He stayed where he was and kept her warm.
