The slender-bodied, light silver tabby was swimming, aiming to reach the island ahead. Lean muscles rippling under her pelt, the female breathed in short pants, determined to reach her target. Determination had never been a problem for her; it came naturally, and never had it once occurred to her to actually give up. However, as much as she tried, swimming was not really her thing. But changing her course, to trod the tidepools, didn't appeal to her either. That seemed far more dangerous. And besides, the little island was nearing. As it drew closer, she was greeted by a lovely forest, causing her features to light up.

With much exertion, she finally reached her destination, calmly placing a paw on the bank. Judging by the overwhelming scents that immediately hit her nose, she figured a coven of some sort resided here, perhaps a clan. Using this new information, she decided she would not go and explore, for they may be hostile. Hunting could wait, even though she was hungry.

Casually seating herself, features molded into a placid expression, the 8 month old female licked her paw, swiping it over her ear, waiting. Calling out first and talking wasn't really her style. Narrowing her eyes just the slightest bit, the wind sweeping her fur back, Artemis waited for someone to come across her.

Artemis's guard was up, just by the slight hostility prickling off of the first cat. She had trained herself to notice little things like this, that or it just came naturally. However, when the kitten was openly kind and enthusiastic, she smiled a little. Standing, to shake off her almost-dry pelt, the silver tabby's attention flickered back to the first female. "My name is Artemis. I came to join." After taking a bit more time to stare at the duo, the female relaxed a little, because there were no males present. She had no interest in love whatsoever, and only liked hanging around females. However, it would be possible for a guy to befriend her, and, if Sketchy went for it, a possible love plot could be introduced. But that was all based on how Artemis played out.

    hi !!
i have this new character, artemis, who's based off of the original greek goddess cx
anyone care for a thread? she really doesn't like guys, and is asexual, but it's possible for one to befriend her, and if it's really good, I might go for a love plot.

also, deadie, i watched and liked your video for you :^)

"Pleasure to meet you." The young female responded, dipping her head. They didn't know her age, or anything about her, so there was a chance she was coming across as older than she actually was. In truth, she was actually 8 months, but acted older. A small smile painting her features, she shook out her fur one last time, before locking her cerulean gaze on the one known as Karmamagic, as if asking "what next?"

The small teen's blonde hair hung in her face a bit, but not much, as the walked over to the small group of gathered others. She didn't bring her phone, because it wasn't any form of Smartphone, just a means of communication, with calling and texting alone. Practical, and necessity. Just what she needed, because she wasn't one for luxury. And, she didn't recognize anyone there, except for Lottie/Karmamagic, who had been there when she had joined. The perks of being a newbie. So far so good, and the only problem she could think of, was that there was a guy here, and she wasn't one for dudes. Or romance. Yep, she was asexual. Seating herself away from the others, Artemis twisted and untwisted a strand of hair repeatedly, for lack of something better to do.

The mature apprentice appeared, head cocked slightly, questioning the scene before her. A fully visible spirit, still walking the earth plane, and everyone fawning over it. Because she was new, and really didn't know anybody, the silver tabby simply sat on the sidelines, watching through slightly narrowed, icy optics.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify]
Artemis turned her head, to see Karma/Lottie. "Hello. How are you?" She responded, biting her lip gently. She wasn't really good at conversation, since she had spent pretty much her whole life alone. Although others might mistake the lip biting as her form of flirting, Arti was asexual, and it was her little form of awkwardness.

The lean silver tabby apprentice was sitting in a tree, in the forest. Having decided to go hunting, she had paused to rest, though she wasn't really exhausted at all. It had dawned on her that she had no friends, even if she was friend. Of course, she didn't particularly need friends, because she was a total introvert, but it might be nice to actually know a few people. She was asexual, and preferred females over males, but would befriend guys, though it would take a little more effort. Jumping down from her comfortable position in the tree, Artemis padded towards camp, entering without any attention drawn to her. She wasn't used to yelling at people, or even talking to them, for that matter, but whatever. "Meet and greet." Three words, very simply announced. And easier than she had thought. Upon speaking, she sat down, curling her tail around her paws, waiting.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify]
"Hello." The apprentice greeted, drawn over by the sound of voices, and business. "You said you had sunset pictures? I'll take one." Just in case it was business - and it had turned out that it was - she had brought along something to trade, a book. Specifically, The Hunger Games. It was now readable, due to writing/reading portion of the realism rule being abolished. Valuing knowledge herself, she had already read it, and loved it. Nudging the paperback forward, the female's gaze rose to stare at Magnumpaw. "Is this enough?"

    [fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify]
"And this, is why I have no love interest." Artemis announced her appearance with the statement, padding over to stand beside Wonderpaw, who she had met before, at her own meet and greet. She wasn't afraid of love, it just didn't appeal to her. Asexual.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0pt][justify]
"Hi, I'm Artemis, and I have absolutely no idea who you are!" The female offered enthusiastically, giving a slight giggle as she approached. It was rather uncommon for her to be acting this way, typically, she was very composed and somewhat-robotic. But, it was just one of those days where she was actually acting her age.
