[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=transparent; overflow: auto; height: 80px; width: 350px]Rikki was patrolling the territory, wandering in no particular direction, when she heard the roar. It was ear-splittingly loud, and she had to shake her head vigorously, but she didn't have time to be annoyed before a question popped into her head - what creature made it?

Heart racing, the small fawn calico scurried towards the source of the sound. When she got closer, smelling a strange scent that filled her nose, she began to creep. Shoving her way around a thorn bush, she came upon Dean.

She stood still, tail puffing out, staring at the apparently sleeping - well, she didn't know exactly what it was, but it looked like a dragon. Did they even exist? She didn't know. But there he was. Rikki bit her lip for a moment, and then called out tentatively. "Hello?"

[fancypost bgcolor=black; bordercolor=transparent; height: 40px; width: 350px; letter-spacing: -2pt]rikki[/fancypost]
[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=transparent; overflow: auto; height: 80px; width: 350px]Velvetevenings? Rikki hadn't heard of her before, but then again, she'd only joined the clan a few weeks - almost a month - or so ago, so this didn't surprise her. She grinned. "Nice t' meet you, Beyondcub. You bored?"

[fancypost bgcolor=black; bordercolor=transparent; height: 40px; width: 350px; letter-spacing: -2pt]rikki[/fancypost]
[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=transparent; overflow: auto; height: 80px; width: 350px]"Business on TidalClan territory. And your name," commanded the lone calico, coming across the tigress with a little surprise. Rikki raised an eyebrow, waiting for her reply.

[fancypost bgcolor=black; bordercolor=transparent; height: 40px; width: 350px; letter-spacing: -2pt]rikki[/fancypost]
[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=transparent; overflow: auto; height: 80px; width: 350px]Well, this was good luck indeed. Rikki smirked to herself as the sweet scent hit her sensitive nose. She had came across these once before, on her travels; or rather aimless wandering. Her mouth watered at the memory.

Marshmallows. Delicious. Rikki trotted over, snatched up the plastic packet in her jaws, and made her way back to camp. The petite fawn calico sat down and dropped her package. "Marshmallows and story telling here! C'mon!" she yelled, and used her claws to shred open the packet.

[fancypost bgcolor=black; bordercolor=transparent; height: 40px; width: 350px; letter-spacing: -2pt]rikki[/fancypost]
[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=transparent; overflow: auto; height: 80px; width: 350px]Rikki had just dragged herself out of the water after a short swim, mostly underwater. She lay on the island, her fur slick and flat to her body, dripping wet. Suddenly, a loud cracking sound disturbed the silence. Frowning, the calico sat up quickly. At first nothing usual met her eyes. But then she saw it; a long line of crabs, claws at the ready, staring at her. They then charged forward. Rikki tried to run, but her tail was grabbed by the sharp pincers of the lead crab. She flung it around, unsheathing her claws in fury.

"Help!" she yelled, clawing at the nearest enemy.

[fancypost bgcolor=black; bordercolor=transparent; height: 40px; width: 350px; letter-spacing: -2pt]rikki[/fancypost]
[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=transparent; overflow: auto; height: 80px; width: 350px]Rikki swatted another crab away, sending it flying back into the surf. "There's loads," she called to the others, her fur puffing out as the crustaceans surrounded her, snapping their claws.

[fancypost bgcolor=black; bordercolor=transparent; height: 40px; width: 350px; letter-spacing: -2pt]rikki[/fancypost]
[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=transparent; overflow: auto; height: 80px; width: 350px]"Right," mewed Rikki. "Help yourselves to marshmallows. I'll start off the story, and someone else can add their bit, until it's finished." But how to start? She speared a marshmallow and chewed on it thoughtfully, until a small idea formed in her mind. "Once there was a small cat. He used to travel a lot, and one day he came to a settlement of humans, looking for food." She stopped, glancing up to see who'd go next.

{so yeah, just continue on the story however you want}

[fancypost bgcolor=black; bordercolor=transparent; height: 40px; width: 350px; letter-spacing: -2pt]rikki[/fancypost]
[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=transparent; overflow: auto; height: 80px; width: 350px]"A party? Cool," said Rikki, glancing around. "Well, I'm sure we'd love to come, though I'll have to ask someone for permission first." Hopefully someone would come. If they didn't soon, she'd go fetch them.

[fancypost bgcolor=black; bordercolor=transparent; height: 40px; width: 350px; letter-spacing: -2pt]rikki[/fancypost]
[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=transparent; overflow: auto; height: 80px; width: 350px]Oh, how boring. Ceremonies. Still, she supposed it would do good to show herself, provided it didn't take too long. Being patient wasn't the calico's forte. Rikki padded over and sat down, giving her shoulder a quick lick before blinking up at Jasper.

[fancypost bgcolor=black; bordercolor=transparent; height: 40px; width: 350px; letter-spacing: -2pt]rikki[/fancypost]
[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=transparent; overflow: auto; height: 80px; width: 350px]"Who're you?" demanded Rikki, coming closer to the strange fox and taking a sniff. The scent was vaguely familiar. "Sketchcub? Wait, I thought you were a tiger or something?" she asked, frowning. And what was up with the rainbow wings? She tilted her head questioningly, staring.

[fancypost bgcolor=black; bordercolor=transparent; height: 40px; width: 350px; letter-spacing: -2pt]rikki[/fancypost]
[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=transparent; overflow: auto; height: 80px; width: 350px]
[if you can't be bothered to read all that just skip to the last paragraph]
Oh, not another one. New bodies weren't anything rare anymore, though a lot of more powerful creatures were showing up. Rikki stumbled forwards, panting, and fell over in the village clearing. She lay there for a minute or so, eyes shut tight, shaking.

The fawn calico soon woke. Blinking, she pushed herself to her feet. Her body felt wrong. For one thing, she couldn't feel her gills. She felt smaller, slightly, and more lithe. Staggering over to a small, muddy puddle, she squinted at her reflection. Peering back at her was a small grey-brown creature, with a narrow short snout and large eyes. Her ears were large and slightly rounded, and she had a long, striped tail.

It was, of course, a genet, though Rikki, having never heard of such a thing, assumed it was some wildcat. She sat down heavily, lashing her tail in anxious confusion.

[fancypost bgcolor=black; bordercolor=transparent; height: 40px; width: 350px; letter-spacing: -2pt]rikki[/fancypost]
[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=transparent; overflow: auto; height: 80px; width: 350px]Letting out a shriek as the balloon smacked her in the chest and exploded, Rikki, who had been rolling in the dust, scrambled up. She glowered up at the dragon, coughing and spluttering a little to prevent any water passing by her gills and giving her an unwanted burst of oxygen. "That's not funny!" she yelled, shaking herself.

[fancypost bgcolor=black; bordercolor=transparent; height: 40px; width: 350px; letter-spacing: -2pt]rikki[/fancypost]
[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=transparent; overflow: auto; height: 80px; width: 350px]"Clan-wide meet n' greet! If you're new or wanna get to know others, come 'ere," yelled Rikki. Her new genet body was super weird, but it was catlike enough. She could walk, at least. The greyish spotted creature sat down in the middle of the village, dead prey surrounding her in a semi-circle - a little treat for whoever came, courtesy of herself and a lot of hard work. Well, some work. Most of the prey was taken off the pile. She settled down into a crouch waiting.

[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=transparent; overflow: auto; height: 80px; width: 350px]"Huh?" Rikki blinked, spinning around. She carefully stood up and bit her lip, ears flicking. "It's a new body, I think. I think...I passed out, and then I was this." She flicked her long tail to her lithe form, frowning. "What - what am I?"

[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=transparent; overflow: auto; height: 80px; width: 350px]"Sure, why not?" Rikki mewed as she hurried over, smiling. Her new body was faster than her cat one, in a sneaky, lithe sort of way. More agile, almost. The greyish genet sat down nearby, nodding to the others in a friendly greeting,

[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=transparent; overflow: auto; height: 80px; width: 350px]"Yeah, it is," she chuckled in reply to Ruby, checking her reflection again. It had rather big, round eyes, and she much preferred her old blue ones than these copper ones. "Is there anyway I can change back? Don't wanna be stuck like this forever." She did feel rather agile, though. And fast.

[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=transparent; overflow: auto; height: 180px; width: 350px]"Do you wanna stay?" asked Rikki, padding over and nodding to her clan-mates. She looked the young serval up and down, forcing a small smile.

[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=transparent; overflow: auto; height: 80px; width: 350px]Sam was missing? This was the first Rikki had heard of the matter. Being the pessimist she was, she assumed he was probably dead or something, but didn't air her thoughts. "If you're going to search, I'll come," the genet offered, strolling over and sitting down casually.

[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=transparent; overflow: auto; height: 80px; width: 350px]Rikki, had she been a mind-reader, would have been a tad bit jealous that the others knew who this 'Dawn' was but not her. But she wasn't, obviously, and so came up frowning. "Who're you?" the genet asked, flicking her long tail.

[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=transparent; overflow: auto; height: 80px; width: 350px]Another one missing? Padding up with a slight look of worry on her face, the grey Genet looked around. "Those who can fly could search from the air," Rikki suggested.
