    Daisypetal was curled around Daffodilkit. She felt kicking in her stomach, and knew the kits were bound to come any day.


    Falconkit blinked open his eyes, and saw outside from the nursery. He prodded his siter, Ivykit awake and wobbles with her to follow his sisters' scents, and Hollyspirit's scent. Once the two kits got there, they hurried as fast as they could to Amberkit.

    Falconkit stepped to the side so Sparrowkit could get past. The tom sniffed at his sister's fur.


    Ivykit's interest was caught by something else-a feather flying in the breeze lazily. She pulled her paws underneath her and sprang up, crashing onto the feather. She continued to chase it.

    Ivykit continued to chase the feather until it floated out of camp. Seeing the other kits, she turned and began to stalk Palekit. When she was close enough, she jumped on top of her, laughing.

    Daisypetal set down her paw and looked at Whitehawk talking to his apprentice. When she saw him leave, she smiled at him, beckoning him over with her tail.


    Falconkit and Ivykit went over to Wintersoul. Falconkit stood by his sister Tawnykit, while Ivykit snuck up behind the mysterious cat talking to Wintersoul.
