Kail sniffed the air again as he reached the trees, this time picking up the satisfying scent of deer. Smiling softly to himself, he turned and followed the scent, and as he closed in on the prey he understood it was a lone fawn, mostlikely distracted from it's mother and it's herd by a butterfly or some other stupid thing. Rounding a corner, he found himself in a sunny clearing, the fawn laying sheepishly on the grass. Leaping into action almost immediatly, Kail launched himself at the staggering fawn, who had just jumped to it's feet. Catching th baby Deer around the neck, Kail brought it down and ended the struggle with a strong snap at it's throat. Gazing down at his catch, he silently thanked the deer for it's life and meat. Looking around briefly, he began dragging the fawn back to Splatter.

Morningglow padded across the clearing with a squirrel in her jaws and dropped it on the fresh-kill pile. Although she'd just returned from a hunt, her paws itched to be on the move. Sighing and looking around at her clanmates, she decided to go out again. Turning , she padded towards the camp entrance, her pawsteps heavy as she went.

Ferretfur yawned and sat up, his jaws watering from the dream he had just had. Shaking his head to clear the thought of a nice juicy mouse, the brown warrior padded out to see the reality of a fresh-kill pile. It wasn't quite his dream-sized standards, but atleast it was prey. After a few heartbeats of looking through the pile, he chose a vole, and padded over to the Holly bush by the Warriors den to eat it.

Wishpaw sat up in her nest, her fur ruffled from sleep. Purring to herself about the long sleep she'd had, she stretched, her paws reaching out in front of her as far as they would go. As her muscles tensed, she listened to the daily life of her clan. Wondering where her mentor was, she left the den. Her eyes scowered the camp for any sign of Stonesky.

Morningglow psuhed her way out into the forest and paused, scentig the air for a small trace of prey. Sighing at the fruitless attampt, she turned and padded to the nearest border; the closest to the MoonRock.

Ferretfur settled down and took a bite of his squirrel. Juices flowed into his mouth, and he soon toom another bite. After several more famished bites, the squirrel was gone, apart from a smattering of tail-fur and bones. Standing up, the brown tom picked up the left-overs and padded over to Dirtplace to bury them.

Wishpaw padded towards Ashstripe. "Hi," she mewed. "Have you seen Stonesky?" her mew was calm, although she was edging to get onto training. Or hunting, or anything else her mentor had in store for her.
