Gahh, I'm lost .o.))

"Yep." Kail woofed through his mouthfull of mouse. He turned and pushed throught the ferns. He paused on the other side and waited for Splatter, his tail keeping the fronds parted. ((Sorry for short post, I'll make up for it in Cora's post))

Cora nodded a quick goodbye to the two wolves and turned, sprinting, into the forest. She weaved around the bushes and leapt over tree roots. She skidded around a corner in the path and ran head-long into a tree. Spluttering, she stood up, slightly embarrassed, although there were no wolves to see her. Or any other animal for that matter. The forest was silent, too silent. Has the... this thing... has it found it's way to everything..? She shook her head. That can't be; it hasn't gotten us, so how could it get every other thing in the forest? No. I'm just imagining things. She looked around and pounded on, although a little slower and more careful, this time.

Bump..?

Firestorm padded down the steep slope, a plump mouse in her jaws. She leapt the last tail-length and trotted happily towards the Fresh-kill pile. Dropping her prey, she gazed around camp, spotting several cats lounging around. She scanned extra hard around the apprentices den, but after a few heartbeats she dropped her gaze and padded out of camp again, scenting the air for signs of more prey.

Kail cocked his head and listened. Now that he was paying attention, she was right. The forest had an eerie kind of silence to it. It was quiet... too quiet... "Come on, let's get out of here..." He barked quietly, although despite his whisper being quite low, it seemed like a yowl in the quiet forest.

Firestorm turned to the apprentice. "Hi!" She mewed her spirit lifting. She glanced down at the tom's wound. "How does it feel?" she asked, her tone edged with curiosity and worry. The clan was valnurable, and they didn't need any more lame cats.

Kail pushed through the bushes and followed Splatter into the camp. He too set down his prey, letting his mouse to fall to the ground.

Cora leaped over a log and pushed her way through a thick bush and fell forwards into thecamp. She leapt to her feet and scanned the clearing. Spotting the Medic, Cora rushed to Splatter's side, gasping for breath.

Kail turned his head as a frantic rustling came from a bush behind him and a white she-wolf burst from the thicket. He stared as Cora rushed to Splatter's side, spluttering.

ALSO:: Medicine Cats/Medicine Cat Apprentices are forbidden to have mates by the Medicine code, although seeing as it has been done before, and to spice up the roleplay, our Medicine Cats will be allowed to take a mate, but please don't make your Charrie yowl 'I HAVE A MATE DEAL WITH IT' x3

Firestorm snorted sodtly, her eyes shining. "It would be whole lot better with some prey to fill me! My stomach has forgotten I have a throat!" she exclaims as her stomach grumbles loudly. She glanced over at her recent catch on the measly fresh-kill pile. "Should we go hunting, then eat?" She asks, not wanting to take before she had given enough for the Elders.

Cora stood up straight and took a deep breath. "It's Eagle. She's been... hurt. It's... complicated." She murmured to Splatter, keeping her voice low. She didn't need to attract attention to the strange substance.

Cora turned and trotted throught the bushes. Once out of sight of any other wolves, she turned to make sure Splatter was following.

Kail leaned forward and whispered to Splatter as Cora left. "Be careful."
