Scarlettjay opened her eyes nod welcomed her new kits by licking their heads she smiled in relief and decided on their names. She felt widow kit play with her tail and run around with the other kits. She looked around, her smile dimished and she thought bout her mate, if only he were here. She wouldn't be able to do this alone...

Scarlettjay stretched out and curled her tail, bringing her kits closer. She stood up shakily and got something from the fresh kill pile. She then rested back in her den and watched the camp.

Scarlettjay tried to protest but no words formed, she nodded her thanks and turned back to her nest and kits.

Falconwing padded around com, bored out of her mind and wondering what to do, did she go hunting, trim apprentices or muck around with the other warriors. Being deputy wasn't all it's cracked up to be. It was hrd and taskful. She soon decided to hunt due to the lack of prey that would soon come.

Scarlettjay chuckled at the apprentices flood of questions. "I am fine Littlepaw." She looked at her kits and saw the black one open his emerald eyes for the first time soon followed by his younger sister, only here's had misted pupils and blue irises. She was blind.

Hunter ran away from scar before it went too far. Who was her ally here. She was interupted when a tom tackled her to the ground, her movements slackened as she was thrown into another cat, she fell limp as she felt something drag her away.

Scarlettjay fell into a not so peaceful slumber. In her dream, she saw the gorge, herself attacking a shadow clan tom in order to protect her kits, now apprentices, she saw snow foot and Littlepaw a few fox lengths away from her. Then she lost her footing and fell off the gorge hanging on barely, her kits mewling for help. The last thing she saw before jolting awake was a unknown cat try to help her. Then she let go. She jolted awake and breathed hard, head whipping around. But she felt as though it wasn't just a dream...

I am a tad confused.

Scarlettjay, knew she needed to rest but she wanted to clear her head. She stood on now steady legs, asked a queen to nurse her kits for a while and took a quick dissapearance. She sat by the gorge. The water reminding her of the flood. Tears clouded her vision as she thought of her mate. He could have sat with her now if she had listened.

Scarlettjay returned to camp and her kits.
