Steps rigid and military like, the ex police dog in training padded to the border, his pale blue eyes sharp and his body stiff, ears pricked and alert. Glancing around, Alistair took a hesitant seat, his tail flat and unwagging; had he made a mistake, perhaps, coming here? After the fire that had consumed the police station, he'd fled, using what little other-animal lingo he knew to find himself a safe refuge. Thanks to the territories he'd entered at first, the loners had directed him here - BlizzardClan, they'd called it. He did not know whether to take them seriously or not, but now, at the border, he knew their tales to be true. He could only hope that this BlizzardClan was friendly, and willing to accept him.

The yearling rose to his paws instantly as he was approached, standing almost to attention as he surveyed the trio neared him. Two males and a female; he was outnumbered, something he never necessarily liked. Being an ex police dog, he was used to vaguely working with many, but only intimately working with a partner and master; being surrounded wasn't the problem. Being surrounded by strangers and potentially enemies was.
"Greetings, sirs, madam. I am #357 Alistair, and I am seeking refuge and a place to reside." he woofed rigidly, reciting his full name as inscribed on the tag on his collar. -

Nodding his head, the male would remain still, unsure if that meant he was now allowed to cross the border. He almost anticipated an initiation process, a challenge of sorts; but when none came, he merely relaxed a tiny bit, his stormy blue eyes boring into Homura. A want for dominance? No, he had always looked into his master's eyes, his master's master's eyes and his fellow police dogs' eyes whenever they were addressing each other. It was only, somehow, polite.
"Thank you," he barked, his head nodding in respect. -

She did not look good. The protective instinct of his police dog past kicking in, the warrior aged apprentice padded over rigidly, lowering his head to sniff Alligatorkit. "You require medical assistance; are you alright?" his words were tinged with only a hint of concern; his tone, however, was business like and well phrased. -
[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][sub]Perhaps Alistair would be able to relate. The crossbreed dog had heard the dying screams of his master, watched as a perfectly sound policeman writhed and perished in the flames that consumed so many other men and their canines. He'd been one of the few to escape, but only a week after being recovered by the police force he'd left, unwilling to work with another master. He would not accept any but his first, and he had fled, running towards BlizzardClan. He longed to see the faces of the dead once more, longed to see them alive and well - a futile hope. One of the many strengths of a police officer, regardless of their species, was to hold a professional air at all times. He had acquired that ability and would not lose it now.
Padding over, skittering on the ice, Alistair slid towards Sirius, stormy blue eyes as masked as always. "Are your physical and emotional wellbeings sound, sir?" he woofed, unsure of how to interact. Most of his life had been spent either silently, or making wordless, explosive barks. Nothing else. -
[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][sub]He studied her for a while. "Would you like me to transport you? It would be better than forcing you to mobilise yourself." it was a long winded way of him offering to carry her; at the ready, he stood, ready to assist her in any way she required.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][sub]Next to approach was the ex police dog, his stormy blue eyes calm. A newcomer? He too was a rookie to the clan, not knowing anybody; it was an unpleasant feeling. "Hello. I am #357 Alistair," the dog woofed, taking a seat, body rigid.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][sub]Upon hearing voices, the recently joined ex police dog found himself roused from an odd haze he had often slipped into whilst waiting patiently in line at parades or marches. It was a useful trance to enter, but one that wasn't often so easily breakable; curious to see what had awoken him, body stiff and steps militaristic, the once isolated dog padded over, his stormy blue eyes calm. "Hello," he thought to greet, though it was strange, in his opinion.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][sub]He had never properly known Amedeo, only glimpsed him once and that had not been in a bat body. Therefore, when he heard the bat, the ex police dog merely tipped back his head to watch, his shadowed gaze mildly baffled. Was this a member of the clan? Or just prey?

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][sub]Hearing a voice, the patrolling dog, having resorted to his old ways of prowling the police grounds, padded over, his large ears pricked and his stormy blue eyes fixed on Red. "What are the contents of that sack?" Alistair asked in a militaristic voice, lowering his muzzle to sniff the bag suspiciously.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][sub]"May I please have your name and your reasons for approaching the border?" the dog woofed in his usual blunt tone as he padded over, body rigid.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][sub]He studied her for a while, trying to gauge if her motivations were true or not. "There is an auto acceptance policy here, welcome. I am #357 Alistair."

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][sub]The dog was unsure in his new habitat. He did not show his anxiety, police dogs did not show fear but still, there was a nagging nervousness. His tail wagging stiffly, a sign of wariness, Alistair eased himself into a sitting position, looking round. Just a few hours ago, he had seen a meet and greet from afar, and decided it was a good way to get himself acquainted with his clanmates. So, despite his terrible social skills, awaited an approacher, busying himself with a pebble.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][sub]An odd frown furrowing his brow, Alistair looked closely at Sirius. "Perhaps you would benefit from a conversational session?" if only he knew how odd he sounded. "Does it have something to do with 'Taxi'?"

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][sub]Nodding his head to Sirius, Alistair turned to face Antonio, his gaze icy as always. "I understand, but I am not an infant." he replied, his already rigid body seemingly becoming more and more statuesque. He did not appreciate the use of the term 'kiddo'. It made him feel inadequate.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][sub]"Hello, what is your name?" his sentence was almost normal as he barked it, watching the bat as it swooped past him.
