After more than a decade caring for her own eldest son, Wilmia is capable of seeing others through a new light. Her patience never wears thin, and although sometimes she is difficulty understanding someone's problems, she is a good listener. She can listen for hours for no end, and her doors are always open for the girls of the Selection. Strict It is important to be more than strict when it is necessary to raise two rowdy boys. Whether or not they are royalty, children can easily get out of hand. Even now, Wilmia makes sure her only son left is behaving and stays polite. Wilmia never really has to do the teaching herself, as there are the best private tutors for her sons; but when they are being troublesome--sometimes even young princes are too much for the nursemaids. She won't hesitate to clam up one of the Selection, either. Resilient The Queen is reserved and mostly keeps to herself. She is usually submissive around her husband, where she can be found most of the time. Wilimia doesn't enjoy speaking publicly, as pressure and stress make her capable of fainting. She has an unusual preference for being alone with her domestical animals and books. She is reluctant about parties in general, but she never misses one. Wilmia is very comfortable around her family and close friends, but strangers are people she avoids unless it is a necessity. Overall, Queen Wilmia is a timid woman who has gained little confidence in her decades of royalty. Stubborn Although she is afraid of public-speaking and strangers, Wilmia is not humiliated to share her opinion. She makes sure what her husband is doing is positive in the best way for her people, and she even gets her way with what kind of honeymoon she and the king have together as an anniversary gift. Wilmia likes things her way, and though she may let a small thing slip, don't count on it the next time. In her youth as part of the Selection, Wilmia was determined to go home; because her family missed and needed her. Through her letters from home, Wilmia intended to part from the Selection until she was left for the Elite. It changed her, and the king's attention had softened her original decision.
Appearance:
[sorry, too much homework right now.]
History: "I was born in May, the date my grandmother died. This was considered extremely unlucky, and I was named Wilmia to supposedly honor her. During my childhood, I was shunned and taunted. The bullying did not stop until my fourteenth birthday, when my current husband; a young prince then, was wandering around lost. He saw me; a cowering and lower caste girl than he, and did not hesitate to protect me. He rushed to my aid, and I have never forgotten his act of heroism. Though it may seem small, it meant alot to me. Perhaps he has forgotten, but I loved him the moment he spoke to me.
I was always timid as a young woman, and I never allowed myself to trust many people. When my older sister, Diandre, died after her first few years of marriage; I could not get close to anyone. A few years later, I was unfortunately picked by the prince to enter his little game of marriage, otherwise known as the Selection. I wanted to leave as soon as possible, sometimes throwing things at him. It only seemed to amuse him; and I gradually reduced my efforts of escape. Of course, I loved him, but he seemed arrogant as a young man. My marriage wasn't going to be based on mainly looks nor on my husband's pride. I wanted it to be the inconvience of love, however it may have hurt.
I became part of the Elite, and finally, I was picked. He wasn't at all what I had originally thought; he was my significant other. He was always making sure I was just fine, and he's still taking care of me today. I only hope that my son will pick the right woman for him."
- Family ties to other countries? "My distant cousin is from France; he was recently promoted to a high official." - Past castes in your family? "My family and I were three's, we had an easy life. I never asked to be Selected, but here I am; the queen." - Deaths in the family? "Evelyn Diandre Alask; my mother, Thompson Alask; my father, Mitchel Alask; my elder brother, and Diandre Fetchell; my sister. Guy Fetchell, my brother-in-law, has also perished. It was an accident involving fire." - Other Family Notices? "Nothing to mention."
Other: "I possess many animals, as I have a fondness for them. I would hope that my daughter-in-law will also show such regard for all creatures, wild and domestic. My closest animal companions are Dandy, my Pomeranian, and Myabridge, my peacock."
