They were born in America, and when Hawk was 2 and Ellie was 3, they took a trip to London and their parents left them in the front of the orphanage, before leaving.

Ellie woke up to a terrible smell. 'why is there a sock on my face?' she thought... Hawk! Ellie stormed downstairs in her PJ's to find everyone lined up. Hawk looked at Ellie with her "you messed up" face.
'did I miss anything?" Ellie asked making the "I'm a cute little girl please don't kill me" face at the caretaker glaring down at her.

Ellie glared at hawk "shut up hawk." she said then ran upstairs and changed into her clothes. Ellie ran back downstairs still trying to get a sock on as she did. "What did I miss? Who's coming?" she asked Hawk after getting in line.

Ellie nodded, watching as Cletese went through the rules. Just after she had finished two men walked in, one was very tall wearing a trench coat and a scarf and the other was a short blondish man wearing a sweater.

"sorry i don't know what to do on this one..." Ellie said looking up at the man. "sooooo... your just adopting us like that?" Ellie asked, snapping on the "that".

Ellie giggled at hawks comment. "yeah. But that's typical of her." she answered. Soon the first kid walked out looking scared. "wonder what happened in there?" Ellie asked hawk.

"where were you?" Ellie whispered to Hawk. "next time remember you god da*n glasses! This has been the most awkward moment of my life." She said noticing Hawk now had her glasses on.

Emily looked at the ground in shame. Many people had adopted them actually the they came rite back in less than a week. There high score was actually… what was it? Oh yeah, five days.

Phoenix watched hawk, fallen and hat from very tall tree in her human form. Phoenix flew silently to where hawk was sitting and snuck up behind her. "HEY HAWK THERE'S A FOREST FIRE SO YOU BETTER GET YOUR LAZY A*S UP OR YOUR GONNA BURN!!!!!" She screamed in her ear waiting for her reaction.
