    "Oh? Why the sudden change?"
But YABBERWOCKY- it was so fun to say. Terra frowned, curious as to why someone would up and change their name to something a bit more plain.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 300px; ][justify][font=georgia]
"Yo, wassup! I'm Terra, welcome to the Nox. If ya wanna join, then welcome twice."
Terra was a simple guy like that- no questions, only acceptance of whomever wanted to join the Nox. The red coywolf grinned at the newcomers, tail wagging as he barked.
    "New packies."

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 300px; ][justify][font=georgia]
"S'parta what I do- meet, greet, spray everyone with mud. Y'know, the use."
Use- usual. Terra terms were weird. Yo, Terra terms could be a kind of dictionary thing, hey! That was a good idea. The coywolf gestured towards camp.
[b]"Camp is thataway, and I'm heading there now so feel free t'follow."

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 300px; ][justify][font=georgia]
    "A'ight Fly- takedown or sprinters?"
Terra barked- the sooner they got out, the sooner they'd eat. Oh, and build pack togetherness or some * like that. Mostly the food though.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 300px; ][justify][font=georgia]
"Nothing. I have become the physical embodiment of boredom."
Terra complained as though it were second nature to him- which, really, it kind of was. It was easy to play off the endless drudgery when your life had gotten as exciting as literal mud.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 300px; ][justify][font=georgia]
    "Cool, we're heading out then."
Terra barked, and turned to begin to trot out of camp. The herds weren't usually near the camp itself due to the fact that even prey knew not to live near the home of their predators, so the packies would have to follow him a bit aways from the camp.
"Anyone have a spot they wanna check for any strays?"

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 300px; ][justify][font=georgia]
"WAIT COULD YOU PLEASE NOT LEAVE?"
Terra yelled, panic rising in his chest. It was still freakin' raining and he had literally dug a hole on a downward slope so the rain water was up to his ankle and slowly, but steadily, rising. And honestly, he didn't really feel like dying a whole bunch on this specific day so yes, he cried out.
"I don't wanna drown in rainwater and my own pitiful tears- and yes I will cry if imminent death starts to flirt with me."

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 300px; ][justify][font=georgia]
"Haha- well, you can laugh at me after I'm indebted to ya, how 'bout that?"
Terra suggested, standing on his back legs and reaching towards his packmate. He actually wasn't sure how exactly he could get out, but if Jagged weighed down his front paws, he could probably scurry out of the hole.
Then, he should probably fill it with mud or rocks.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 300px; ][justify][font=georgia]
Terra, meanwhile, freaked out a little bit. He assumed, of course, that Jagged Astronomy was leaving for good but mostly because his brain didn't really consider time in the long run. He was a coywolf, why would he worry about long-term consequences? He lived in the now, and right now, Jagged had left.
    [b]"Wait, what?!"

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 300px; ][justify][font=georgia]
"Jagged, were we not told to be chill with those who came from clans? Wanting to be not be all buddy-buddy with the kitty-cats?"
Terra barked, wagging his tail. He smiled brightly at the newcomer, and spoke to her next.
"Welcome to the Nox, packie- I'm Terra. Even though you smell rank, you're good to join."

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 300px; ][justify][font=georgia]
    "Yo, kid, chill."
Terra spoke in a raspy voice- why was he so affected by this? He barely even knew Jagged, but still... he was saddened at her leaving. Moreso at Levi's reaction. Turning to the kid, he spoke again.
"You dunno why she left or if she's coming back. Don't you disrespect your mama like that."

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 300px; ][justify][font=georgia]
Terra trotted up to the border, happy enough to be a part of this new moment which had never happened before, in this exact time and manner. He would've asked after the name and business, but Maddox had beaten him to it.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 300px; ][justify][font=georgia]
    "I'm Terra, resident awesome-sauce."
The coywolf had accepted his new packmate within moments; that's just how he rolled. With the widest grin a canine could wear, Terra moved to stand beside Mathproblem.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 300px; ][justify][font=georgia]
    "Yo, kid- what's wrong?"
Terra spoke in a softer tone than usual, hesitant to approach Jabberwocky. He wasn't the kid's biggest fan, but no one deserved to have their family ditch them like they were trash or some *.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 300px; ][justify][font=georgia]
    "Be chill, and visit!"
Terra yelled- honestly, if they were chill with the Nox and left on good terms, he'd mourn their leaving a little but let them go. If you love 'em, let them go so you can trace their path and further involve yourself in their lives.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; width: 300px; ][justify][font=georgia]
"Oi, we're your packies- believe it or not, we're on your team. Don't lie to us."
Terra was a strong believer in 'packie-is-family' ideology of the Nox. Even if he didn't get along with some members, he still needed to be able to trust them with his life.
