Blade is a very shy and quiet guy. He's warmhearted and doesn't mind lending a hand to though's in need. He has an obsession with books, but only fiction ones. He is very protective of his little sister Cyl.

Being about 5'11 in height and not the most muscular kinda guy, Blade is a fairly attractive young man. His jet black eyebrow length hair compliments his big black/brown "puppy eyes". His skin tone is a little off putting because of how pale it is, and how noticeable it is since he mostly wears white or black.

Being the opposite of her older brother, Cyl is loud and outgoing. She has a habit of making friends and enemy's easily. Being a Shadow Mage, she is used to having her morals questioned and even questions them herself. She is bipolar, and can sometimes cross over to the dark side if she gets mad. She loves her brother with all her heart, and consider's him her equal because his is one of the few that have stopped her psycho episodes.

A white haired, 5 foot girl. She has red/pink eyes that usually make her look off putting with her paper white skin tone. So much white is usually complimented by a pink or red dress, blouse and skirt, ect.

I was thinking the Academy should have a rival group, maybe another academy or maybe just a coven of dark mages. They turn my girl Cyl here onto their side as a spy, bent on the destroy of our sweet old academy. It's just an idea, the details could be worked out elsewhere. Also, if you reallllly need teachers I can make Blade older and a teacher but he will still be Cyl's older brother.

So am I accepted then?

The ability to control shadows and dark matter. Very deadly and deceiving and has many perks. Like cloaking yourself in shadows, or making shadows do your dirty work. With enough training you can make the shadows into portals, or manipulate them to give you a different appearance to others.

Though he may not seem like it, Blade is a very ambitious fellow. Just because he has a very dark, and may I add very powerful magic, doesn't exactly mean he is 100% pure evil. He doesn't all ways be a jerk, and he is usually quite respectful to those who respect him. He usually doesn't get along well with other males, but he's also not a lady's man. He has a heart, he just doesn't like to show it.

Weakness
--When someone gets close enough to him for him to call them a friend, they are instantly his weakness. He doesn't make many friends, but when he does he will be a lifelong companion whether they know it or not.
--Sometime his pride overrides his mind, and he will make rash decisions depending on the situation.

--His ambition keeps him going in the long run. Whatever goal he has will fuel him through the obstacles that get in his way.

History
Blade had a life full of magic. His grandmother, having the same magic as he, taught him most of what she knew when she could. Taught him cloaking spells and all that good stuff.... But when he was only 14 she ended up in the hospital with no money to pay for the procedure she needed to stay alive. Using his shadow magic, Blade robbed four gas stations and his grandmother still had not lived long enough for the procedure to finish. After that Blade set on a semi-dark path in life, caught between good and bad, right and wrong.

Side by side brother and sister stood, quietly observing everything that had went on and keeping their mouths shut. Blade watched his sister, wondering if any of this would have influenced her impressionable mind.
Pink eyes studied the dueling, taking it in with relish. She loved to duel her brother because it made her stronger. Even though his energy magic couldn't compare to her shadow, he was skilled enough to keep her at bay and for that she respected him a lot more than what a sister would.

Cylestia watched this guy who she thought was called Luke sit on the ground and concentrate. In the back of her mind her conscious was telling her to not interfere but menacing dark tendrils of shadows began to glide towards Luke. She wanted to test him, but before her tendrils touched him she felt her energy drain, and gave a dirty look to her brother that was looking down on her with disapproval.
"What do you think your doing?" Blade said not breaking a sweat as he held his sister's dark energy at bay for this short period of time. He couldn't do this with most people, it took a lot of practice to get familiar with so many energy's. Since his sister was related by blood, he had an easier time controlling it, but only for a short period of time. He let go, now that her attention was on him. He gave an apologetic look to Luke, but saw him doubled over in pain. "Hey man... are you okay?" he asked.

Blade held out his hand, "I'm Blade and this is my sister Cylestia." he said. "What exactly just happened there? What type of magic do you have?" He asked quizzically, watching him. Then he realized how nosy he was being and sighed. "Sorry for being nosy."

The young man in a black blazer and red tie with black dress pants and dress shoes walked towards his dorm, walking against the crowd with ease. When he found his dorm, number 4, he opened the door and looked at his new room with tired eyes. He specifically asked the headmaster/mistress to customize his room to his taste. In the room his bed has a maroon colored bed set, and a sky light that has a shade. He would only be opening it at night so he could watch the stars. He materialized his bag into his room, and started unpacking.

"I'm also an energy mage, though I should have known what you were but I didn't wanna pry." he said. He showed his energy, the color of a deep red. "Have you tried taking energy from the environment around you to help have the strength to do it all over yourself?" he asked. "Try it outside sometime. I feel bad stealing the energy from big things like animals, but trees and plants have an almost never ending supply of energy. It takes a while to get accustomed to the feeling though and can sometimes be overwhelming. If you practice it gets a lot easier." he informed, and leaned in closer. "Or if you can familiarize yourself with the different types of mage energy, in battle you can leak amounts of energy from your opponent and use it for yourself. But that's only justified if its an important scenario..." He took a deep breath, feeling like he talked too much. He looked around to see that his sister disappeared from his side.

Cylestia watched the students around her, and played with tendrils of shadow. She stroked a few tenderly, whispering kind things to them not really caring who was watching. Her eyes were a very light red, which usually meant she wasn't exactly right in mind but had common sense still. Full on red eyes usually means she is having one of her bipolar outbreaks. She giggled as some of the tendrils rested on her shoulders and one curled up her arm.

Would we try to make our characters have whatever classes in common at the same time? So there could be some way to communicate besides just in the halls?

Blade shrugged, "Maybe sometime though I'm not really into the whole dueling thing but every once and a while I go for it." he sighed, running his hands through his hair.

Blade waited for the echoing ding of the bell that indicated that it was time for his first class. He looked at his schedule, and headed for Dark Arts. He faintly smiled to himself, this would be fun.

The bell chimed, echoing down halls and even into the dorms. Blade stood from his bed and exited his dorm. He saw some girls walking but adverted his eyes, continuing to his Dark Arts class. When he finally made it there, he entered and took a look around at the available seats and sat towards to the back left corner of the room.

Cylestia waited impatiently, wondering when classes and all that good stuff would resume. She was tired of watching her fellow students fight, and was bored out of her mind. She was a few months new, just like her brother Blade. And yet she still didn't have any friends which didn't bother her. She had her brother.

Blade sighed, running his hand through his black hair and looking around warily. He closed his eyes, and silently felt everyone's energy. Trying to pinpoint his sister, he opened his eyes and began to walk towards her energy.

Blade glanced at the girl, then returned his attention to the door to see who else would be joining the class. He bounced his knee impatiently. If you asked him what his favorite part of the academy was he would either say the food or the training. He loved to eat and if you wanted to win his heart the first step would be some amazing american Chinese food. He loved sweet chicken with rice and could eat it every day of his life if it wasn't so filling. He loved to exercise his magic, it made him feel fantastic too.

Cylestia approached the kid who she thought was named Josh. She watched him before lightly tapping on his shoulder. "Why aren't you dueling?" she asked emotionless and curious at the same time. She didn't really know this guy well, and was curious as to what his magic type was. She cocked her head to the side, studying him intently with her pink eyes.

Sorry it took me so long to post I was supposed to finish this hours ago but then I went on Pinterest and couldn't stop looking at all the elven fantasy pictures XD And then when I finished it the bodyguard was taken DX poopy. Finders keepers I guess c; Also I have a question. Since we are sorta elven I guess you could say since we all have elf pictures, are other mythical creatures like say... dragons allowed in the rp?

Blade watched as the instructor introduced himself after the late bell rang, and gave a bit of background on what he would be teaching them this year. He sighed silently, watching sort of uninterested until the instructor asked each student one by one to stand up, say there name, and describe what kind of magic they do better than any other. The instructor pointed to the girl beside him.
