IC: Kara padded alongside the river, looking deep into it's murky depths, remembering when it was rainbow colored because of the twolegs polluting it. She shook her head in disgust, how can they stand themselves?
Suddenly, a scent wafted into her glands. Kit...
It was definitely kit scent, but she wasn't sure if it was RiverClan or other, and it was alone.
The leopardess ran in the direction of the scent; no matter where it came from, the kit had to be saved.
When she reached the kit, she ran her pale eyes over it, critically. It couldn't have been more than a moon old, still dependent on it's mother's milk.
Why would anyone abandon it?, she thought angrily. She wasn't particularly fond of kits, but she felt a wave of disgust wash over her at the thought of some she-cat just leaving their offspring to die.
Like my mother..., Kara pushed her memories away and picked up the scrap of fur. She headed back to camp, the kit swinging in her strong jaws.
