The strong stench of blood was undeniable to Leo's nose... it was something he'd smelled too often to leave alone. Something he had to see too often to turn away from. Something that even he himself had happened to spill, whether from himself or an opponent. Blood was something that Leo absolutely dreaded, but as a vampire, it was also a sweet release for him. So of course the scent of blood would have his head turning, spinning a mile a minute.

He even found himself sniffing the air, trudging along toward where the scent seemed to be originating, expecting a dead animal or passing loner that he could just... take a gulp of blood from. Just one gulp, though. He didn't want to resort to his beast-like tendencies that occurred whenever he drank too much of the liquid that coursed through everyone's veins.

But no. What he saw was much, much worse.

The person he'd dedicated his life to, Littlepaw, was torn up, bloody, and in such bad shape that Leo had to draw back, his eyes wide and his mouth hanging, agape.

"L... Littlepaw?" He croaked, eventually rushing forward, going straight by Enigmaticsoul and Divinepaw to greet the apprentice. "D-Don't die! Aw, *... who did this to you? I'll find them," he hissed, gritting his teeth.
