[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0;overflow:auto; width: 300px; height: 200px;]Brooklyn had been slipping into inactivity, and she wasn't proud of the fact. So, the self appointed impressionist stepped towards the center of the cathedral. "Anyone who's up for a painting lesson, come here." She had of course, set up the necessary supplies. It was comforting to be surrounded by canvases and paint brushes. She thought of how her and Augustus would help teach art classes before he got promoted. [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0;overflow:auto; width: 300px; height: 200px;]yeah. do you want me to make ti?[/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0;overflow:auto; width: 300px; height: 200px;]Brooklyn noticed Carnationpaw reading and walked over to her. Brooklyn recognized the flowers and grinned. She didn't say anything at first, just picked up her paw and set it back down. In its place, a hyacinth grew, nearly identical to the one in the book. "You were right," Brooklyn said. "I'm Brooklyn. Who are you?" [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0;overflow:auto; width: 300px; height: 200px;]"Magic," Brooklyn replied with mock seriousness. She dropped the act a moment later. "It's a power. I can turn it on and off and when it's on, I can control the flowers that grow."[/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0;overflow:auto; width: 300px; height: 200px;]omg me! i do! cause like they were gonna have a thing and all. [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0;overflow:auto; width: 300px; height: 200px;]"You idiot, wandering off to god knows where without telling anyone." Brooklyn made a disapproving noise in the back of her throat, but it was mostly a face. She had missed Dan and was more than happy to have him back. [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0;overflow:auto; width: 300px; height: 200px;]Brooklyn wanted more than anything to talk to Dan more. She had missed him when he had left, especially because it was unannounced. She wasn't exactly sure where to look for him, seeing as they were no longer in the mansion and he didn't have his old room anymore. So, Brooklyn wandered down the halls, look for him. "Dan?"[/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0;overflow:auto; width: 300px; height: 200px;]Brooklyn's face lit up when she saw Dan. She wasn't aware of the fact, and if she was, she would have blushed. Nevertheless, she grinned and greeted him. "Hey, Dan."

She hesitated for a moment, unsure of herself. What had been her reason for seeking him out? Sure, she had missed him, but did she have an actual reason?"Have you talked to Augustus lately? He's head doctor now." It was the first thing that had come to mind. Damn.

[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0;overflow:auto; width: 300px; height: 200px;]"Then why did you leave?" It was out before she could stop it, but her voice was accusing. It bordered on sadness and confusion.

Brooklyn took in a breath before continuing. "Like, did you feel the need to get away? I understand that, Dan, more than anyone, but a heads up would have been nice. I wouldn't have tried to stop you."

[/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0;overflow:auto; width: 300px; height: 200px;]She was more than thrilled to have Dan back. She had missed him fiercely and it felt as if one more piece of the puzzle clicked into place.
As per usual, Brooklyn's paws were paint stained and she paid little mind to them. She was day dreaming in a sunny windowsill, lost in thought.

[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0;overflow:auto; width: 300px; height: 200px;]Brooklyn smiled at Mythrilweapon. "Hey." She had spoken to her once or twice, and only in passing.
Her attention then went to Emma and she nodded. "Yeah, I'm trying to get as much as I can before winter comes. What are you guys up to?"
Brooklyn mock-glared at Augustus, and shook her head. "My life doesn't revolve around Daniel and painting. Though, to be fair they make up a good portion of it." She grinned. "Don't worry, Augustus, you're in there too."

[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0;overflow:auto; width: 300px; height: 200px;]"You idiot," Brooklyn said softly and without malice. She realized he was crying, and she stepped forward to hug him. "I've already forgiven you." Brooklyn offered him a small smile. "Just don't leave again, yeah? You worried me and I missed you. You being gone made me realize that I don't want you to just be a passing part of my life." [/fancypost]

[fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=; borderwidth=0;overflow:auto; width: 300px; height: 200px;]"Like what?" Brooklyn prompted. Was she flirting? Brooklyn replayed their conversation in her head and realized she was. Cool.
She started to walk towards where she knew empty rooms were. "So do you want a big window or a big room?" she asked, thinking of the few open rooms she had seen and liked.
