[fancypost borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 455px; text-align: justify;] Why? Why had he decided to agree to the terms of some mere race from a random stranger? Oh, right- those two-legs had invaded his opera house. He would have stayed there, if they hadn't been so meticulous and insistent on ruining the place! He did not want to be around when they decided to make whatever foolish renovations that they'd thought would be best to act upon. Erik mourned his music, but secretly, he was actually glad to leave the solitude behind. After all, he figured that he'd somehow see that female again considering her... boisterous personality. Even though Erik would not have his glorious compositions, he still had his...ability.
Before Erik left, he'd made sure to take his cloak, hat, and, of course, his mask with him. The mask was of great worth to Erik since it covered his cursed deformity, but it also brought him much pain... As those memories of a life in a living hell flooded him, he sighed and scowled. He was making his way towards some clan that the stranger had mentioned to him. She explained that she was heading there, and even challenged him to see who would get there first! This confused Erik- she had just met him yet felt the obligation to compete in a contest with him. Now that he thought about it, this was actually a little humorous. His scowl softened and he chuckled dryly.
Before parting, the female- Jade, as she explained- informed him of some clan beyond the city. She informed him of the location in which the members resided- some sort of a school abandoned by two-legs. Even though it didn't matter much to him, he wondered why the humans had left. He pondered on some explanations while trekking in the direction she had pointed him in.
After traveling for a long time, Erik was, naturally, weary. As he was again questioning why he had decided to do this, he noticed a bizarre sight- skeletons scattered around. His expression changed to show his curiosity, but his focus shifted towards the dirt path leading into a wooded area. Erik remembered Jade mentioning this, and decided to follow the path. It's not like he would get anything out of staying with the skeletons.
