IC: Lacey's hands were clenched into tight fists. This was too much. Blurry memories, feelings, and emotions swirled within her. She stepped forward, toward Riolu. "L-Leo..."
When the two Riolu had Lacey, they had been looking for a place to rest and eat, and she had been on her way to Viridian City to meet her parents. That had been back when she lived in the Kanto Region. Lacey had gone into the Viridian Forest to play and was heading back into the city. Upon meeting Molly and Leo, Lacey offered to take them to her house. But on their way there, something started the Viridian Forest on fire. There was an odd smell to it--the smell of gasoline. The fire soon spread to the city. In the chaos, some police officers had managed to evacuate some people, to include Lacey's parents and baby Lily. Lacey and the two Riolu escaped on their own, but had no clue where any of the other escapees had gone. So they decided to travel together in the hopes of finding Lacey's family, and Lacey helping to take care of Leo and Molly.
One day, about seven months later, Lacey was playing a game with Leo and Molly in a little shack they were staying in on their travels. Suddenly Leo stopped. He tensed up, sensing something. Lacey and Molly frowned. What was the matter?
It didnt take long for them to find out. In seconds, smoke filled the room, and it felt as hot as a furnace. Glowing flames licked the walls around them. It was a fire--and it started up far too suddenly and quickly to be any kind of accident. Someone had started this fire on purpose.
"Leo! Molly!" Lacey screamed. Tears from the smoke traced down her cheeks. Covering her face, Lacey stumbled this way and that, and somehow managed to escape the inferno. She turned around, expecting to see Molly and Leo behind her. But they weren't. "L-Leo? Molly...?" More tears streaked her face, this time not from the smoke.
Lacey stared at the Riolu. He had to be dead. She had searched the remains of the shack after the fire, called for Leo and Molly, looked through the forest, clinging onto hope. But she hadn't turned up a thing. She had been sure Leo and Molly had died in the fire. But no... here he was, in front of her.
"I... I never thought I would... see you again..." Lacey whispered. Lily looked up at her sister. "Lacey? What's wrong? Who's that Pokémon?"

He came to my school to collect the red papers, and just about everyone sent them in! That's over 600 people! Imagine schools all over the world doing that!
