Red thought about everything that had happened to her in the past nine years. She had been nothing but a lab experiment up until she was somewhere around six. That was when she had first escaped. She lived for two years in the real world - she made friends, had some fun, and had her first taste of chocolate. Then she had been captured again soon after she turned eight... and had only just escaped again. Red tried not to think aboutt being recaptured, though it wasn't like it couldn't happen.
Thinking about Amethyst, and Raven and Aster and Michael, Red felt a sense of security. There were other people like her. She gave Amethyst an impish grin. "To the best of your abilities, huh? I take it you aren't the best at this kind of stuff?" -
Can we start RP now? Then we can escape the School and beat up the bad whitecoats.

After you didn't respond to Skygazer I'm scared to ask. Can I be Legendkit's, Icekit's, and Blossomkit's mother? Or you can make her your mom and I'll be your dad. Although I prefer playing female characters.

Lacey smiled at the Professor. "Hey, I'm Lacey! This is Lily -" She gestured to her younger sister, who was playing some kind of game with Chika. "- and this is Quilla, my Cyndaquil."
Professor Rowan was slightly startled by the voice. "Cedric Ontemar, you say?" He inquired, stroking his whiskers. "And it's Professor Rowan, not Doctor, by the way."
Lily stopped playing with Chika. She squealed, probably for the 78th time that day, and raced over to the door. She grinned at this new girl. "Hi! My name's Lily and this is Chika, my Chikorita! So nice to meetcha! What's your name?"
-
OOC: Correction. Lily is on the ground, soaked with blood, close to death. And nearby. And you are also nearby, Biscuit.

Cryssie woke up in a brightly lit room. She was strapped to a bed of some sort and attached to several machines. Cryssie closed her eyes tight. Where am I?! she thought desperately. "Molly! Thrust! Aster! Raven!" She cried out. Fear and adrenaline raced through her. "Help! Help me!" Tears slid down Cryssie's face. They had told her it was all a dream... everything, even the Flock. They said that Molly and Raven and Aster and Amethyst weren't real. But she refused to believe it. They had to be real. Without the Flock, Cryssie had no one.
((The whitecoats have separated Cryssie from everyone else and told her that the Flock was a dream as well, FYI.))
Dr. Joseph stepped into the room. "Well, then," He smiled an off smile. "Are we cooperating like good little bird kids?" His smile got creepier. He shoveled his eyes to look at Amethyst, Raven, and Molly. "Time to run some tests. Dr. Blackwood..." His glance drifted to Raven, then pulled away. "...Will be helping with this. We're checking out your brain activity for now. Specifically your reaction to traumatizing events, like, say, watching us hurt someone you know, while you watch helplessly." Dr. Joseph turned to the large computer on the desk and pressed a button. Ropes snapped up out of the beds, pulling Amethyst, Raven and Molly onto the beds and keeping them there. He clicked on a screen, and there was Cryssie, strapped to a bed much like they were. She was crying and struggling, but getting nowhere. "Let us begin the tests," Dr. Joseph stated to Dr. Blackwood. "You can start on the little one now."
-
((All that happens to Cryssie is visible on the screen in the other room.))
Cryssie felt the straps on her body loosen, then fall away completely. She sat up, then snapped open her wings and zipped up to the ceiling. Four Erasers stood on the ground below her. Cryssie gasped. She wished Molly were here. And Raven and Thyst and Aster and Michael. But she was all alone.
Cryssie knew what they wanted. "You want me to fight them," she concluded. "Don't you?" She spoke aloud to whoever was listening. Surely someone was. Taking a deep breath, Cryssie folded her wings and fell toward one Eraser feet first. She struck him in the head, and he fell to the ground for a moment, but quickly began to recover.
On another Eraser, Cryssie threw an uppercut with one pudgy hand. It was surprisingly powerful for a five year old, but then, a bird kid's strength isn't exactly normal. She finished with a good kick in the shin. By now, the first Eraser had fully recovered and pounced on her. Cryssie opened her wings, throwing him back to the ground. The other two leaped at her, and with kicks and punches, Cryssie did her best to hold them off. Noticing a tree out the window out of the corner of her eye, Cryssie grinned slyly.
Raising one arm, she caused the tree's largest branch to stretch farther. Then she concentrated, and it thrust forward, shattering the window. The branch entangled two Erasers and squeezed tightly, so they couldn't move or breathe. With her five year old fighting skills, Cryssie incapacitated the other two and flew towards the smashed window. However, the window was guarded with an invisible electric net. Cryssie cried out and was thrown back, but she shook it off and threw open the door of the room she was in... only to come face to face with more whitecoats. Fear crossed her little face, then rage, as they grabbed her and pinned her to the ground. But try as she might, Cryssie couldn't fight them off. They injected her with something, and she went limp, fully conscious but unable to move."Wha... how... ?!" Dr. Joseph stared at the screen, incredulous. "She wasn't supposed to BEAT them!!" He roared into an intercom, "Get her! Don't let her escape! We need more tests!"
-
Professor Rowan nodded. "I certainly can do that, my boy. By the way, you do bear a most striking resemblance to..." the Prof looked over to Samuel, then shook his head, seeing the boy's obvious displeasure. "Oh, never mind. I'm sure I'm mistaken. Anyhow, just show me your Pokédex, hmm? I'll fix it up for you."
Lacey raised an eyebrow at Lily's excitement. "You see?" She said, shaking her head. "Insane." She greeted Flame and Cinders happily. "Nice to meet you. You starting a Sinnoh journey? I'm Lacey, and that's Lily. She is my insane little sister."
-
Lily cried out. "Ah! That... hurts!" She clutched at her side. Tears of pain slid down Lily's face. "Ow... oh..." She struggled for breath, and looked up at Xaffias. "Who...? Ah... hurts..."
-
Cryssie smiled to herself. Well, she showed THEM. Maybe she was being carried to another lab room and couldn't even move, but she was happy she had beat those Erasers. And obviously, they'd seen her do it. And they hadn't expected it, either. As they put her into another bed and, big surprise, strapped her down, Cryssie thought about the Flock. No way they were just a dream. No way. And they would find her, for sure. Then they could escape this place together.
-
The Professor shook his head to Vance. Then he nodded. Then he shook his head again, confusing himself. "Ah... yes, you may look. No, you can't "pick" some. Those Pokéballs belong to some trainers I sponsor. They leave their extra Pokéballs with me when they have more than six Pokémon."
-
OOC: Have you ever noticed that no one ever pays for anything in the show?!
The Professor shook his head. "Oh, no, quite all right, quite all right. The upgrade is simple and doesn't cost hardly anything." Professor Rowan took the Pokédex from Cedric's hand and placed it in a slot in his computer. The computer took in the Pokédex, and Professor Rowan took it out moments later. "There you go, my boy. And here are four regular Pokéballs, along with a Master Ball. You're all set, now, then. And good luck to you!"

((A bit random, but is anyone here a fan of Olivia Holt's song Carry On, from Disney's Bears?))

Lily shifted and moaned in her sleep. The bleeding had lessened a bit, but as Xaffias attempted to remove the bullet, the pain woke Lily despite Gardevoir's hypnosis. She looked blearily up at Xaffias, holding back tears, trying to ignore the pain. Her breathing grew rapid.
-
"Oh... I see." Red nodded and glanced warily at Nico. Seeing the slight fear hidden behind the anger in his eyes, her gaze softened. She knew what it was like not to trust anyone. She had felt that way before. Red cast Nico a meaningful look that said, I get where you're coming from.
-
Cryssie fell asleep.
When she woke up, the drug they'd injected had begun to wear off. Cryssie sat up and stretched her wings. She hopped off the bed she'd been in and walked towards the door. It was locked, obviously. Cryssie gave it a kick, and it dented the metal door, making a clanking sound that could be heard by the rest of the Flock, though Cryssie didn't know that. She kicked it again, denting it once more, then sat on the ground with a thump, exhausted. Kicking down metal doors wasn't easy.
-
"Yes, right." The Professor nodded to Erin, and handed her Vance's and Jay's Pokedexes. He shook Jay's hand in greeting and turned to Vance. "What Pokemon might that be, hm, my boy?" He began to pull out PokeNavs for all the trainers as he awaited a response.
OOC: Dang, the Prof sure does a lot of work!

And I hope you do join, Tiger. It's fun so far.

As soon as the bullet was out, the pain began to recede. Lily's breathing slowed a bit, and the blood flow slowed almost to a halt. Lily gasped, breathing in deeply, and sighed in relief as she began to feel less pain. Her eyelids shut and she fell back to sleep.
