She was now well rested and felt ready to go and do something. Perhaps she should go and exercise her kestrel body. Wait a minute. Was she in her kestrel body? She glanced down at the ground. No, she wasn't, there were her paws, right there. But her shoulders and back felt a little heavier, like they were carrying an extra weight. Like they had... Oh dear. Only now did she look behind her at her back, and realised that there had been a rather notable physical change to her. She was rather bemused when she saw that what she was spreading out behind her was a pair of large, light brown and very feathery wings.
She was not entirely sure what to make of the situation. Could she actually fly in her cat body now. She flapped the new addition to her body experimentally, and, finding that in a few seconds she had lifted herself two feet off the ground, became rather alarmed and fell to the ground with a gentle thud. Well. What had happened? One does not simply sprout a pair of large wings over the course of one night. Do they? She had seen a few cats with wings before, but she hadn't expected this at all. She supposed she might as well ask someone. She had grown much more confident around other people since joining WindClan, and she honestly hadn't the slightest idea if she ought to do something about it. But then, she actually quite liked. No, she really liked it. She was fairly used to flying, as she already had her kestrel body, and she had always wished she could fly in her cat form. But best to ask anyhow. So she newest, " Excuse me, could somebody help me? I appear to have sprouted wings."[/fancypost]

It was raining heavily outside, so she could not go and experiment with her new wings, as she had planned. Not that the rain bothered her at all, but flying in it wouldn't turn out well, she felt. Perhaps she ought to talk to someone. Socialising was not her strongest point, but her confidence around others had certainly grown upon joining WindClan, and she did want to be aware of the existence of as many members of the Clan as possible, since they were her allies and the ones she would defend if need be.
However, she really didn't want to go and randomly introduce herself to some random creature, so she sat off to the side of the cave and waited for someone to approach her.

Someone actually started talking to her. She remembered at that moment that she was incredibly bad at conversation. She got to introductions just fine, but after that she could never think of anything to say, unsure of what they would make of her and so generally faded into the background at that point. What would she say now? a simple 'hello' would make both parties feel incredibly awkward she felt. Weather. Yes, the weather. Everyone loved to talk about the weather, right? She herself had never understood it - it was blatantly obvious that it was raining, and so commenting on it seemed utterly pointless to her. Never mind.
"Hello." Pause. "Lovely weather today, isn't it?"
Mental facepalm. 'You were supposed to say what the actual weather was, Grace.' She thought. 'It's raining heavily today. She started babbling in a desperate attempt to correct her stupid, stupid mistake. "I mean, depending on what you consider good weather, it's raining, obviously, well, you can see it's raining, but some people like the rain, I mean, some people like the sun, but some people - sorry. I do that sometimes. The weather isn't great today." She cut herself off mid sentence, realising that she was making herself look like even more of an idiot. Now a question. She switched back to her regular feline body before she emerged from behind a tree and into sight. She padded up to Thalia and dipped her head in greeting. "Hello, I'm Grace. You must be Thalia.
