Dirk is actually an old character of mine from way back when (on my first account). He holds and had always held a very special place in my heart so I have decided to bring him back. He never left BlizzardClan so I wouldn't make a joining thread. This is the plotting thread where you can request certain types of ideas with him. Keep in mind that I have the right to reject or accept any ideas depending on what I want to do with him.

    Plot away, my lovelies. [/fancypost]

Oh, what fun. Dirk was indifferent about the promotions and demotions as they did not concern him nor even mention him so his presence in the meeting was quite useless. However, because Dirk believed that the meeting was mandatory, he had thought that it would be useful to at least attend and listen. It wouldn't hurt to do so, even though Dirk didn't know a majority of those promoted and demoted nor did he bother to at least make an attempt to associate names with faces. "Congrats," Dirk said to no one in particular, watching the scene play out with an uncanny amount of indifference. [/fancypost]

Preoccupied...? Dirk knew how that was; he was a Strider and he was expected not to show the slightest emotion and remain stoic at all times. His younger brother, Dave, didn't exactly follow that but he did a good job with hiding negative emotions from nearly everyone and playing that "always happy" façade. Dirk had taught him well in that aspect. "Preoccupied, huh? Sucks," Dirk mused, clearly not going to ask the kitten what was wrong; she wasn't his responsibility so he wasn't going to take it upon himself to act as if she were. She had parents, right? If they cared enough, then the kitten wouldn't need to vent out her problem to some random people. [/fancypost]

    [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; color: black; font-size: 10px;][justify]
Ah, so a kitten was joining? Dirk was rather indifferent about it as it did not require his full attention; after all, he could just skip the joining and head right into the possible meet and greet. Then again, that process was not always guaranteed so he might as well just put himself through the tedious task of greeting members and welcoming them into the clan when it was quite clear that he did not give a shit and will most likely never give one because he was fresh out of them and the market had closed down. "Dirk Strider," Dirk introduced himself, not one tiny expression crossing his face as he did so. [/fancypost]

Apparently, Dirk had missed the first memo that the entire clan was moving towards those floating islands that had a conveniently placed staircase that led straight up to their surface. It did look quite interesting, Dirk had to admit, especially because those islands were legit floating. However, if Dirk was genuinely surprised, he made no notion to show it and instead began to follow the rest of the clan upwards, thinking that it would be quite funny if the islands weren't stable and they ended up relocating once again. Damn, if Dave was here, he would have certainly been saying something about the unknown irony of moving to floating islands. [/fancypost]

Clockwork - Sure! I'll post the link on this thread once I'm done with it.

Panickit - Um...possibly around mid-2013 and very early 2014? I was on and off, appearing at random times, so I wasn't too active. [/fancypost]

Dirk wasn't technically in a good mood today, which would have normally been a bad sign, but that was due to the pounding headache he had. He woke up with it and it followed him to the rest of the day, which was enough to ruin his entire outlook on today. However, Dirk was mature enough to not take it out on anyone else despite his narcissism and general personality. "Dirk Stirder," He introduced himself, clearly not caring enough to develop the sentence even more. Hey, this was a meet and greet and all Dirk needed to do was introduce himself. If he was supposed to elaborate, he would be able to do so, especially with that incredibly interesting life of his.[/fancypost]

Younger brothers were incredibly annoying, especially when they made a certain promise and seemed to forget completely about it. That was Dirk's current situation, if Tawney hadn't made it obvious in the first sentence. Before the two Strider brothers had dispersed into clans, Dirk had made his younger brother, Dave, promise that he wouldn't go into a clan that was enemies against BlizzardClan so they wouldn't be forced to fight each other. Even though Dirk made it look like he didn't give two shits about Dave or his health, he did care. Dirk was just...rather awkward with affection, even if it was between family; although Dave wasn't completely family. Dirk had adopted him and gained complete custody of the younger a long time ago. Dirk wasn't Dave's full family but he sure as hell believed that it didn't make any difference for their family relationship even though Dirk felt like he was more of a best friend and older brother instead of an actual guardian.

Dave, somehow, had seemed to fail to keep that promise. However, little did the guardian know, Dave had actually visited BlizzardClan in order to find out about the alliances between they had with LunarClan and DarkClan, which clearly hinted where he resided currently. Dirk hardly ever mentioned his brother, though, so hardly anyone knew that they were actually related or even knew about each other. Honestly, if Dirk had been told that his brother was here, he would have hit Dave so hard with his katana, the younger wouldn't be able to drop some sick beats anymore.

Dirk had his rather small yet very useful katana at his side as he walked back into camp, a thin stream of blood trickling down his shoulder from a training accident. Of course, Dirk being Dirk, he hadn't mentioned it to anyone and wasn't even planning on getting a medic for himself unless he was really dying. That was just how the male rolled and even though it wasn't really smart of him to wait until it got worse, he wasn't one to show pain or weakness to anyone other than Striders. [/fancypost]

Dirk had not been doing much, to be quite clear, so he was glad for the distraction. Anyways, the feline had been exploring more of the territory, trying to find new and possibly dangerous things to try out until a specific sight in a tree had caught his eye. At first, he believed that it was nothing but an animal that thrived in trees such as squirrels and birds. However, he did a double-take as soon as he recognized the fact that whatever was up in the tree was bigger than any tree animal that Dirk had ever seen. At first, he thought that it would be safe for him to just walk away and pretend that he had never seen it before in his life but his curiosity had gotten the best of him and he ended up approaching the tree with little to no caution.

From there, Dirk began to make certain details out of the animal above. A muzzle, fur, four legs...a canine, by the looks of it. It was a rough estimate but Dirk was quite sure that he was right. Damn, this guy really reminded Dirk of Dave. Dave would always attempt to get himself into trouble - Dirk had always believed that his younger brother had always done it purposefully just to annoy him - and Dirk would have to save him from whatever situation he had gotten himself into. Dave was such a vex. Then again, he probably got the daredevil attitude from his older brother, so Dirk had no one to blame but himself. He wasn't a good guardian.

"The fuck are you doing up there?" Dirk called up to Percy, hoping that the canine would be able to hear him from way up there. It wasn't like Dirk was going to help him down, no. He was simply asking how Percy thought that it would be a good idea to climb a tree even with the common knowledge that canines weren't structured for climbing. [/fancypost]

    [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; color: black; font-size: 10px;][justify]
These joiners were quite abundant these days and Dirk was certainly thrilled. The more people, the more chances he had to show off his hella rad moves and ideas for comics. Ah, this was good. Then again, the female before him appeared to be bashful if not shy, and Dirk hardly made friends with those types of people. Heck, he made and was friends with Jake, Jane, and Roxy, and they were the most outgoing little shits that he had ever interacted with. "'Sup? Dirk Strider," Dirk said as he made his way to the scene, not even bothering to welcome her to the clan as multiple others had already done so. [/fancypost]

    [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; color: black; font-size: 10px;][justify]
Eh, it was pretty good. Dirk had made tons of sick beats before so he could be considered a professional at it, although he had taken a short break in order to focus on other things that were seemingly more important. "Nice," Dirk commented, mind apparently elsewhere as he spoke. Dave normally made beats like these although he added his own twists to them, making them more personal. Ugh, that young Strider was so weird yet pretty cool at the same time. The coolness most likely came from someone like Dirk - after all, he had been the one to teach Dave everything he knew and that certainly included the process of making sick beats.[/fancypost]

    [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; color: black; font-size: 10px;][justify]
    Faithless - Okay, cool!

Dave - Oh fuck yes, Dirk is definitely going to yell at him and threaten him with the power of Smuppets. Can you make it, please? [/fancypost]

    [fancypost bgcolor=; border: 0px; color: black; font-size: 10px;][justify]
What a fucking idiot. What had he expected to happen once he climbed up a tree that was clearly not meant for canines? It wasn't an inconspicuous fact. It seemed like Dirk was always stuck playing the big brother role no matter who he was with. It wasn't his fault that nearly everyone he knew was irresponsible. Heck, Dirk himself was irresponsible and shouldn't be trusted with the lives of loved ones yet, for some odd reason, he was. What would happen if he let something happen to them that would endanger them? Dirk didn't know and he honestly didn't want to know. The thought was too haunting for his own mind to endure.

"Yeah, well, good luck getting your ass out of this fucking mess," Dirk said, clearly not going to help Percy get down. He wasn't going to be responsible for anyone else, no - not today. Anyways, he barely knew Percy, so the guy could rot in that tree for all Dirk cared. The feline drew himself away from the tree and pretended as if he hadn't seen the canine up there and, when questioned, he would most likely just pretend that he never even knew that Percy existed. That was just how Dirk rolled in these types of situations. Friendly? No. Efficient? Fuck yes.[/fancypost]

Dirk hoped that the announcement was going to be something dramatic. He needed it in order to keep his sanity because, man, living in a clan was like living in one of those T.V. shows where the protagonist did nothing except interact with family and friends the entire season. He approached the scene, his orange eyes hidden by his signature shades, his expression emotionless as always although there was evidence of a tiny smirk tugging against the edge of his lip. "Shoot," Dirk said, making it sound like he didn't quite care about what she was going to say but was willing to listen anyway. After all, if it was the drama that he had been hoping for, then he might as well stick around to see what would happen.

Oh, Dirk. How did he get himself into a situation where he was actually hoping for dramatic events to occur? [/fancypost]
