I would personally say blue, but that's just 'cause I get my shoes dirty really quick, so I usually wear darker shoes. ^^

Again, that plays a part in activity. During summer break, I love how active the Clan is though. I'm never bored however when school comes around ( for me ), I just get overwhelmed while with other Clans, it is a lot easier to maintain everything. One last thing to put in, the amount of open threads is amazing. I love how WindClan moved most of their private threads into a 'sub-board' of the Clan. It keeps everything neat <3

I would call an animal control/shelter/vet people such like that, ask what to do, as most people in that work are trained to know what to do in that situation.
