Shimmeringpaw slunk across the lush forest floor. Her ears twitched as she scented Snipepaw. She galloped towards him, skidding to a halt beside him. She studied his features. "You look shaken. Are you OK?" She then noticed the rock and shock crossed her gaze. "You visited Starclan!"

Shimmeringpaw sighed and shook her head. "I'm coming with you, then. It's not even dawn yet anyways." She mewed stubbornly

She tilted her head. "What Snipepaw?"

She grinned at him and twitched an ear. "Why don't you go get it?"

"What was that?" She mewed. She twitched an ear and turned her own head towards him. She met his eyes and looked at her paws.

She wagged her own tail. "Okay!" She barked

She continued to pad forwardin ssilence, deciding not to bug the tom about it

She bounded after him quickly, her paws silent.

She blinked at him and tilted her head. "I'm not sure. Shimmeringfrost sounds good together though." She mewed.

She barked. "You get back here." And took off after him, her silent paws pounding the earth below her as she raced after him swiftly

She put on an extra boost of speed and agility and her pace swiftened until she felt like she wasn'teven ttouching the ground. She caught up and leapt into him, grinning.

She blinked and grinned triumphantly. "That's great! Now I can win any race!" She yelped enthusiastically

She grinned and gazed up at him. "So you did." She barked amusedly

She blinked and glanced over at him. "Yeah. Shimmeringfrost is a pretty name in my opinion. Is there something wrong with the name?"

The white and silver tabby flicked her ears and looked up, noticing the darkened camp coming into view. She sighed softly and trotted foward

She felt her cheeks burning below her fur and grinned awkwardly. "Oh. Um, thanks Shade." She studdered

Shimmeringpaw finally felt the exhaustion of the journey to the stone wash through her and she stumbled into the apprentices den, being careful of the others. She then collapsed into her nest, already asleep.

Her ears twitched as she heard him growl yet she was still asleep.
