Our past makes us
The Skulls were first formed by Shinno, played by autumn in 2011. They were a strongly anti-female group. They lived in a cave hidden by lichen. They became close to the elite and enemies with BoneClan. An academy formed in the group when mass litters brought many players over. Eventually, in June/July of 2012, Wolfgang changed the name from skulls to SkullClan.
Afterword, Bruce Banner took over after Wolfgang stepped down. When Bruce stepped down, there was Cerberus/Roman. Around this time, the pro-male laws were abolished due to the feminist efforts of Lady Avorio and her daughter, Miss Havisham. He changed the ranks from their churchy theme back to a pirate-y theme, to bring back what they were originally.
In October/September, he stepped down and Ymir became leader. Shortly afterward, a hurricane ruined the territory and The Skulls were forced to move out. They left their pirate ways behind in the damaged territory and now live as a supernatural-themed clan in a graveyard mansion. Eventually Ymir had to step down, allowing Lady Avorio to take over. Lady is the first female ever to lead the skulls.
In April 2015, Lady Avorio received a prophecy from a spirit named Elarilly. Elarilly predicted that the four horsemen would attack in turn till fire's blood is split.
The second ever female leader, Remilia, took over after Lady died for the prophecy, being the flame-colored cat who saved her clan from ruin. Now The Skulls worship Elarilly, and the cherry blossom tree where Lady Avorio was buried under is now considered a sacred place.
After the unfortunate disappearance of Queen Remilia leadership was passed to Sir Lion in June 2015, bringing an end to the line of female authoritative figures. He was a fair leader at first, though corruption came in the form of a dark spirit who had become fused with him and ultimately gave rise to Lord Megatron. This new leader carried personality traits from both beings, though attracted limited support from those in The Skulls.
The third female leader to lead the Clan was Feza, made leader quickly after becoming deputy during the month of November, 2015. She currently leads the Clan, this being her first time ever in a superb position of authority.

Skeleton Queen/King ➤ they are the overall leader of skulls. they have complete control over every decision they see fit. the current leader is Feza played by Kūgā
Rook ➤ they are the second in command. while they do not hold all the powers the leader holds, they still have rights to decisions such as accepting invitations or leading raids with the leader's permission. they can also inform the leader of things they see wrong within the clan. the current Rook is n/a
Bishops ➤ the assistant deputy. takes the rook's place when the rook is unavailable.

Regular Positions
We are the people
Skulls ➤ skulls are the warriors of the clan. they deal with the training of the bones and follow the orders of the higher ups.
Bones ➤ bones are the apprentices of the clan. they are training to become skulls one day.
Spiderlings ➤ spiderlings are the kits of the clan, too young to be bones. they are often cared for by their mothers and tend to be restricted to the safety of the mansion.
Spiders ➤ spiders are mothering females in the clan, often holding this as a secondary rank and only during the time when their spiderlings need them.
Lost Souls ➤ lost souls are the elders of the clan, too old to fight or to carry out the more taxing duties around the clan. they live happily in retirement.

Territory
It’s your home now
Due to a hurricane in their last territory, skulls have moved into a stable mansion. Before it lies a graveyard, said to be haunted by poor, lost souls. There are many rooms throughout the mansion, most with broken furniture still able to be used. The largest rooms are given to the high positions, while the regular ranks are able to share guest rooms with one another. The dining hall is for feasts, while the kitchen holds the fresh-kill brought in. The mansion is secluded in a dark pine forest at the edge of a river, so there are suitable living conditions all around.

Near the mansion is a small spooky town in which it is Halloween every day. Cats can live in the town if they wish.

Along the border a wall of skulls has begun to develop, a warning to strangers and attackers.

Traditions, Culture and Religion
Just another part of our lives
The Skulls currently worship Elarilly, the spirit of life, forgiveness, tranquilly and happiness. Elarilly became the official deity after warning the Skulls of an apocalyptic attack by delivering a prophecy to Lady Avorio in April 2015.

The Story of Elarilly
There were once two wolf pups born on this territory, the male Raxas and his sister Elarilly. At a young age Raxas showed devotion and drive to surpass everyone in strength and sheer dominance. In the meantime Elarilly was a calm pup, she showed interest in herbs, in the plants and wild life, she treasured each life and did not agree with her brothers drive for power.

As the pups grew so did their ambitions. Rexas was becoming stronger and more fierce while Elarilly grew intelligent, rational and calm, she would hide herself from the pack to connect to the power of the earth. Time passed, seasons changed and it wasn't long until the siblings hit puberty. Elarilly was to be given away as a mate to the neighbouring pack's Alpha as a peace treaty and the sister left. In the meantime Rexas argued with his father that they should have taken the neighbouring pack by force rather to forge a peace treaty. But his father turned him down and the first spark of anger brewed within the wolf.

As the years passed more and more pack members sided with Rexas, that they should take the packs territory rather than share the prey. Meanwhile, Elarilly gave birth to cubs with her new mate and the little pups were her world now. However one night, Rexas went behind his fathers back and attacked the neighbouring pack with his followers. Chaos ensued and the forest was caught in fire, blood, and death, Rexas lost control of himself and got devoured by the beast inside, he wanted to kill, to dominate. Elarilly, seeing her brother decided to confront him to stop this madness and save the innocent lives.

However, he was far too gone and leaped at her, tearing her throat apart. However, when her blood dripped on to his tongue he snapped out of it and to his horror witnessed for the first time what his drive for power has done. Rexas stopped the attack and ordered everyone to back away, but he remained on the neighbouring packs territory, crying over his sisters body.

The next day Rexas buried her under their favourite tree, a cherry blossom tree that they always used to play when they were pups. After saying his remorse for what he has done and saying "Sorry" For a million times he tied a rope around one of the branches and hung himself, not able to live with the fact that he killed his dear sister, his only sunshine and anchor to this cruel world.

Now, eons later the cherry blossom tree still stands firm even if it's way out of it's comfort zone in the pine forest. There is something supernatural about it, it doesn't age, the wonderful flowers never wither, and the changing season don't seem to affect it. However the branch on which Rexas hung himself is dry, wrinkled and no flowers blossom on, and every once in a while water drops from it, without any reason at all, even on hot summer days, as if he is still shedding tears for his sister.

So now the siblings dance the eternal ballet in the spirit world. Rexas the God of remorse, anger, power, death, fire and Elarilly the spirit of life, forgiveness, tranquillity and happiness. The tree is like their shrine and the tears of the angry one are said to have some healing powers while the grass around the tree is said to be a meditating spot for those seeking Elarilly's guidance.
