Giving Lucciole a curt nod, she bounded up in front to take lead. She let out a drowsy purr as the scents of the forest flooded her nostrils. Scanning the forest, she caught the scent of rabbit again. But, also the metallic tang of blood. Had some other cat killed it? Narrowing her eyes slightly, she realised that all the other cats were in camp besides Roulette. But.. She knew the tom rarely hunted. Unless...

She froze, her ginger pelt bristling as she realized the danger they were in. Through the delicious smell of heather was the musky scent of fox. "Starla," she hissed, "I want you to go back to camp and get some backup."Turning back to Lucciole, she lashed her tail.

"It's time to put your skills to the test." She was painfully aware of the growling in the bushes.

Stretching herself, Driftpaw padded out to the clearing. She gave herself a quick grooming, catching pieces of dried moss with her teeth and spitting it out. She cast a glance over the camp. It seemed the same from the last time she had left. Giving herself a final swipe of her tongue, she bounded over to the freshkill pile.

Picking up a vole in her jaws, she padded stiffly to a tree stump and lay beside it, savouring her vole. She narrowed her eyes as she spotted the other cats. They seemed so HAPPY."Shadestar..." she murmured. "I will make you pay."

OOC: There isn't really another healer person... ::) Sorry... We have to wait for someone or do you want me to RP that cat for abit, and probably release that charrie when someone asks for it?

IC: "I hear fighting!" she hissed. Fluffing up her fur, she could catch the scent of Roulette. There wasn't enough time to wait for Starla's patrol. Furthermore, The Society didn't seem to have anymore bodily abled cats. The four of them would have to do. She turned back to look at Lucciole, amber eyes wide. She hardly knew what to do.

Through the bushes Lucuna could see the long tail of the reddish creature. Perhaps... She knew if the creature had his back turned on her, it was a great advantage. Just like prey, if a mouse or vole couldn't see her, they were finished. Crouching down, she bunched her muscles and sprang out, as far as she could, paws aiming to catch the fox on its back.

    "Ancients help me..."

Driftpaw padded out of camp, letting the tang of the forest seep into her nostrils. It had been a while since she hunted... But, she figured that if she was ever going to make it into warriorship, she had to do some hunting. Afterall, it was her next step in life.

Tasting the air, she could scent a vole nearby. Pretty plump too. It could feed the clan. Creeping forward silently, the light brown tabby kept her blue eyes focused on the prey.

Marshall stood up from his nest and padded over to Rosalee. "Fear not, young one," he murmured to her ear, "Your clanmates would be safe under your care." He ran his long, fluffy tail over her flank to comfort her. "Come on, I need your help. We need lots of cobweb and marigold leaves. Do you think you can chew the leaves into a pulp while i go fetch the cobweb?" Without waiting for a reply, he turned and padded into the herb store.

Lucuna was momentarily air-borne. She felt a rush of satisfaction as her claws met the fur of the fox. Uh oh. The fox jerked up immediately, snarling. He was trying to shake her off! She dug her claws in further, trying to get a grip on its long, matted fur. "Help!" she shrieked as she lost her grip on the fox. It twisted even more deviously, sending her flying to the bushes.

It took her longer than a moment to clear her blurred vision. But, she could hear pawsteps thumping the ground. Had that been the patrol they were hoping for? The scent of Starla hit her nose. No patrol... Wait! The soldier should have never returned! She turned to look back at the fox. It wasn't concentrated on her anymore... No...

It's menacing eyes were on Starla.

Haha, I feel you. ;) It is kind of irritating if you type a couple of paragraphs for the person and all he replies you is "He sighed."

Plus, you're really good at Rping! I don't RP well... Sometimes when I'm lazy, i tend to just reply a few sentences. Which is bad... XP Anyways, kindda proud of The Society. :)))) Thanks for joining.

"Starla..." she hissed, her eyes never leaving the fox. "Back away slowly..." The she-cat was still young... She had a whole life ahead of her. Lucuna realized with a sudden jolt that perhaps, this young life was more precious than hers. She HAD to save her. Retreating a couple of steps, her paws drummed the earth as she lunged for the fox. It was a big, nasty brute.

She aimed for the neck, lips curled in a snarl. Crunch! Her jaws met no flesh. The fox had already darted away. Before she had time to recover, it tackled her from behind. It was ironic how the hunter had become the hunted. She fell under its massive weight and struggled under its paws.

Crack. Pain licked her ankle like a flame and she squeaked. Oh dear.

Lucuna limped slowly out of the way as she watched the she-cat lung for the fox's throat. She would be a powerful cat when she grew up.

The fox growled as he felt the shecat's jaws meet his throat. Thankfully for him, his neck fur was thick and her teeth had just grazed his neck. Using his paws, he tried to swipe at her, to dislodge her from his throat.

The fox snarled and tried to throw the heavy tom off its back. Rearing up against a tree, he tried to dislodge the tom by crushing him against its bark.

Lucuna watched in horror as her clanmates battled the fox. Slowly, she muttered a silent prayer and nodded to Starla who told her to return to camp. She got up on her remaining three paws and limped slowly away.

Feeling the tint of the tom's claws, the fox yelped as blood began to trickle from his wounds. He had better end this fight soon.

OOC: Haha, yea, I kindda control the fox. XP But, its okay. :)

OOC: Haha, maybe we shouldn't fight. :) Its kindda my fault cause I didn't reply fast enough. *guilty.

IC: The fox yelped as it tasted its own blood. Backing away, it darted off, tail between its legs.

Lucuna limped back to camp slowly, peering into the medic's den. "Hello?" she called and peered into the den. It reeked strongly of herbs. Lucuna winced as her injured paw met the ground. She straightened up and limped slowly to the center of the camp. She would wait for her clanmates there.
