March decided this would be interesting, and since he recognized a few participants, it introduced his desire to play as well. Thinking for a second, he though it would only make sense to say, "A."
-
The small canine joined the others to inspect the event. Ah, joiners. It had been a long time since Marchingpaw had seen them due to his period of absence. Pressured by the silence, he decided to keep his mouth shut; he could remember the time he didn't, and it gave him a unpleasant sensation in his stomach.
-
It had been a while. Sure, maybe a couple months. But for March, it felt like centuries. What had changed? Probably the leader now, as well as the DarkClanners. He really hoped he'd see his old acquaintances or friends, let alone family. A sense of sadness swept through the young fox; what if they were all gone? Killed in battle, run away, or worse yet, were attack by a bunch of hawks! He shook the feeling off and mentally smacked himself for being so dumb.
Unable to hold back his excitement to re-meeting his Clan and it's joiners, he called out,
"Meet and greet!" -
-
Thank you very much. c:

Marchingpaw ran to join the meeting as quickly as he could, though not trying to create a scene. Was he late? He sat down and mumbled a small here, then mulled over the question. Ever since a while ago with Nil and the beach, he'd decided water wasn't all that bad. Sure, he had a short coat, but maybe that was good thing; it wouldn't drag him down. "Land and water, please. Thank you,"he said just loud enough, without trying to be too distracting.

Marchingpaw was astonished by how many people had come to greet him. He was quite happy to see so many new and unique faces around here; as well as a few of the older members he knew.
And who was this? Ramses? March blinked, unable to fathom exactly how he remember his name from so long ago. "I've seen you- Ramses, r-right?" he remarked, still caught up a bit in his own thoughts. Then he saw another familiar DarkClanner, at least he thought, because she knew his name alright and seemed so....
He broke off in thought, as he saw an animal he'd never really seen before appear in front of him. An elephant? How interesting.
March was determined to remember all these members and their names. He smiled as he listed them over in his head; Sachiko Azure, Eternal, Nuclear Warfare, Cinematickit, Sola Abella...."H-Hi there, it's nice to meet you all,"he started, almost a bit nervous to greet them,"My name's Marchingpaw, but- but I'm sure some of you already know that."OOC: Yes, I remember Youngbloodchronicles! ^^ March does, too.
-
March blinked. What did this feline know about him or Petra? Wait, Petra!? Last time Marchingpaw was around DarkClan he'd heard Petra was gone.... killed by someone or something. In the latter moments before he disappeared, he'd heard something about..... What? He didn't remember- he shook it off.
Interested in how this kitten knew them, he asked,"Um, hi there. I'm sorry- but what's your name exactly? I don't believe we've met before.... I probably just forgot..." -
Marchingpaw listened carefully to the meeting. When the announcement was over, he chimed,"Congratulations to those promoted!"But upon hearing there were snakes lurking around here, March had a bad feeling in his stomach. Snakes? The only thing that he could think of, was birds ate snakes. At least he thought owls did; the small snakes most likely.
-
This was certainly new. March was intrigued, so he lamely marched over and sat down to hear about these tasks."This sounds cool,"he said. He'd take a job to do.
-
"Y-Youngkit?"mumbled Marchingpaw, thinking he'd never heard a name that involved "young". Wait, he had..... He instantly wondered what Youngbloodchronicles was doing right now. Hopefully he was alright.
So they hadn't met, had they? Must been a wild guess then.... But then, how could the kit have known Petra? Was he lying? Marchingpaw slapped himself mentally for thinking that. Youngkit was just a kitten! What point would there be to lie?
Ignoring his thoughts, he realized the other was shivering. "Oh- umm, yes, sorry! Auto acceptance policy, so that means you can join. Err, that's what you'd like to do, right?" -
March padded up beside the others. He truly missed his pastime; greeting new joiners. "Well then, due to our auto acceptance, welcome to DarkClan! It's nice to meet you, my name is Marchingpaw."Marching smiled as he chirped the remark. He wouldn't throw away his usually hobby for anything.

What's this? Sachiko-Something, the elephant he'd met much earlier, had a capture? Marchingpaw couldn't remember the last time he had a capture. In fact, he couldn't remember capturing anything. Perhaps that was the drill with little animals?
He smiled as Sachiko and somewhat barked,"Congradulations, Sachiko! Where'd you find him?"This kitten must have been from the raid. March had gotten so used to captures and raids, it honestly didn't bother him anymore. He just didn't like to see any torturing to young ones, that was quite disturbing. -
Huh. Tell the kids a story? Marchingpaw liked this task, since it wasn't one where you'd teach any battle training or anything. Nodding, he said a quick yes, ma'am, and thought about what story he'd tell. Perhaps something that taught a particular key in common sense that seemed to be fading throughout the years.

this is beautiful, I must track ~
-
Marchingpaw padded over at the sound. What was that smell? A RiverClanner? Seeing as this cat didn't seem to be causing any trouble, he asked,"Name and business please? Or...."He trailed off.
Then he noticed it was a late reply and once again mentally slapped himself. -
"Hi there Cranberry, I hope you'll find DarkClan nice. My name's Marchingpaw, by the way."the Fennec said, following along with the others.
-
[font=georgia] "Hello there, Shade,"March directed towards leopard. She seemed quite enthusiastic; Marchingpaw could admire that as well as envy it, too.
Adelaide was Petra. It made a lot of sense now, as the encounter he had earlier puzzled him. And she was still alive, too, which was good- in fact, now the General of DarkClan. He nodded; something to gesture he understood now.
Turning to Ramses now, he affirmed,"Very well, thank you. And yourself? I haven't seen you in a while."He noticed another presence near him and turned his head to see the tigress. He briefly wondered if there was something wrong, or she just didn't want to tell her name. He ignored this thought and decided the ground was quite interesting. -
Marchingpaw's task was to tell the kids a story, and so he here was, prepared to do so. It was probably going to be boring, but it was to teach something, right? He thought a little longer about the storytelling, then called out,"It's time for a story, open to all who wishes to hear one!"The small fox sat down and shuffled his paws around in the dirt, a little nervous even if there was no good reason to be.
His mind shifted back to when his father and best friend, Criminalpaw, were around. He wondered where they might be now; the young fox missed them very much. He blinked and jumped back to the present, where he remembered he was supposed to be focused on the fable.
