Hi there, my name is Bucky and as you can probably tell I adore all things Bucky Barnes at the moment, haha. Um, I'm obviously new (hi again) and my real life friend Elo brought me here.

The kit was small, that was immediately apparent. Small, white, and silent, as if a ghost. Dire's nose twitched as he stood with quiet certainty on a perch just outside the scent markers. He may have been young, but Dire knew what the stench meant; creatures, and lots of them. Too dangerous for a kitten like himself to dare offend. His red eyes searched for movement in the craggy mountainside, a member of this pack to talk to, perhaps.

The kitten's ears found Nebulaheart before his eyes did, though he kept his blood-red gaze on the calico the moment she stepped through the trees. "My family called me Dire," he said, his voice deeper than one of his size should have rightly carried. His nostrils flared at a tantalizing scent and he whipped his head to stare at the fawn that had so fearlessly put herself into a place with two preadators - no matter their size."Are all prey on your lands this trusting?" he asked Nebulaheart, licking his jaws, before a silver fox appeared. One ear swiveled backwards in instinctive fear, but the white kitten was careful to keep his the rest of features neutral. "I've already stated my name, fox, before you arrived. I am called Dire, and my business is the simple curiosity of a kit." Dire's tone, however, made it plain that it wasn't simple curiosity.

I'm new so I can't really say, but in past roleplay sites my characters would always be strong; physically, emotionally, mentally. They would be awesome fighters, but they wouldn't be socially standoffish or holier-than-thou. //shrug. I dunno.

His features tightened briefly when the fox prompted for more information. Dire sat down with smooth confidence on his perch and covered his paws with his tail. His expression remained blank."I am alone," he informed the second newcomer, after thoroughly assessing Commanderspock and Nelon both. "I don't know where - or who - my sire is, and my mother died five moons ago, birthing my brothers and sisters and I. We were cared for by a passing queen that had lost her own litter not a day before." His oddly deep voice remained calm and matter-of-fact as Dire revealed his past. "My brothers Grey Wind, Shaggy, and Summer; and my sisters Nymeria and Lady, have all vanished, and I do not know where."
Dire's nostrils flared once more in a sharp inhalation at Hazeleyes' appearance, though this one was more tinged with fear than even the sight of the fox induced. He forced himself to dip his head in acknowledgement of her words, though, as he struggled to retain control over his facial features.

I just joined the site yesterday, and after looking through the Clans I decided on joining WindClan first. I almost immediately got two replies to my thread (even though I didn't say "Joining" or anything!) and then several more people joined my thread after I posted for a second time.So yes, I'd say WindClan is very welcoming!

Reading, drawing, and writing are some of my favorite activities! I used to have this problem when I was younger, until my parents forced me to delete the account I had on the website in question. After that, I had a job, and then I started reading more and attempting to draw. I still stink at it, haha, but it takes up my time. After a couple years, I rejoined the site, and found I could stay away more often than I used to. The problem was that I had way too many characters and I was involved in way too many threads. Maybe that's the problem?

I agree with Willow. I love the idea of a more traditional-type Clan, since so many… well, aren't. //sweatdrop
