    UNDER RECONSTRUCTION!

    Name: Reena

    Age: 14 moons

    Gender: She-cat

    Rank: N/A

    Clan: N/A

Appearance: Small, pretty dappled tabby. She has beautiful big blue eyes and an intelligent smile. Her two-legs don’t make her wear a collar; however, she does have a chip to identify her if caught by the pound. She has a light gray under belly and small white flecks above her eyes. She has a long tail and small ivory claws that she will use to defend her territory.

Personality: Reena is a quiet she-cat, not prone to large social gatherings. However, she is somewhat adventurous and spends a lot of time outside her garden. She likes to say she can hunt, and she can in a way, but most of her posture is incorrect. Her humans are very relaxed about her comings and goings, often not missing her for a couple of days or so. She is calm most of the time and appreciates a polite conversation.

OOC: O.o, I have a very high muse for this charrie at the moment.

Rage ignored the mewl of protest in favour of bounding forwards through the snow with new vigour. He pulled his paws clear of the white mush with every leap and dug his claws into the ground to keep his balance as he landed again. There wasn’t much he could do currently to help Shatteredkit. The best he could do was keep his head clear of the snow and hope the wind didn’t kick it up a notch. The stars were hidden from the sky as Rage bounded across the landscape. The shadows flew over them and reached out to nip at his fur with their passing. And the roar of the wind echoed after them, the storm rolling and boiling over like a monster about to pounce.

Rage quietened his mind, letting his body do the working as he searched for the best path. Leaping over small logs with elite precision and landing again without much of a pause. The tom-cat inwardly smirked, reminded once again why he loved the night. Even if said night was trying it’s hardest to get both him and his apprentice snowed in. The gale rippled across him and he parted through the wind like it was water, keeping a steady pace as he neared the Thunderclan border.

He could feel his muscles beginning to burn again. Fired up with the pace he was keeping and the demon of a storm he was trying to outrun. Snow was splattered across his face and he was almost positive it would be covering Shatteredkit as well. He could see the edge of the woods now, and the Thunderpath that marked the border. Slowing his bounds Rage narrowed his eyes and looked around carefully. He would be crossing a very vast opening in a minute and it was a cause of concern that his dark pelt stood out against the snow ridden landscape. Stopping near the edge of the woods he let out a huff of warm air. Breathing slowly as he steadied himself. It wasn’t just Thunderclan he had to worry about now either. Pro-Sunclan inhabited this part of the forest and he wasn’t exactly friendly with either parties.

Scanning the landscape carefully once more Rage bunched his muscles as he took off across the open ground. He was like a bullet as he crossed the snow covered grass with high speed, flying over the landscape. The air rushed through his fur and he could feel the adrenaline pulse through his veins. Hadn’t been any other night and he probably would’ve stopped to just feel the world around him. Nearing the Thunderpath he slowed slightly, well aware of the danger the slippery surface could present. Crossing the black surface with a quick glance in either direction, Rage dug his claws into the inky blackness and bounded across.

Slipping into the cover of the forest, Rage slid into the undergrowth. The wind was still nipping at his pelt though and the snow was no better than it had been on Thunderclan territory. Moving quickly and anxious about how the weather was effecting Shatteredkit, Rage picked up his pace. Trotting between the trees and slipping through the ferns he came to a halt next to a small hole underneath a rather large tree. Tightening his grip on Shatteredkit’s scruff, Rage crouched close to the grounds and pushed snow out of the way before shuffling under the gap. Inside the hole widened to fit two warriors and the
warm smell of must filled the space.

Bending slightly with his head brushing the ceiling, Rage gently placed Shatteredkit on the ground. Settling down between the leaves that had blown in, Rage pulled the small tom towards. Under no illusion that the bundle of fur in front of him was probably freezing to death, Rage wrapped his tail around the two of them and rasped his tongue of the kit’s head.

“We’re not as far along as I’d hoped and this weather will probably continue over night. It’s best if we leave the rest of the journey till morning,” he murmured, stretching out his front legs and repetitively unsheathing his claws.

    ooc: ^^

Rage smirked, turning his face to look down at the mottled kit. He could feel the kits shivering rake through his frame but the tabby tom wasn’t particularly worried about his apprentice now that they were both out of the snow. The small tom would warm up in no time and Rage himself was used to putting his body through extreme temperatures. He pulled Shatteredkit further into his fur, tabby pelt melding into the gray/silver fur of his apprentice. He curled his head around so he could keep half an eye on the small tom and half an eye on the entrance way. Who knew what other kinds of animals or cats were trying to shelter from the snow storm. He didn’t want to get trapped in this small space with a fox.

Shatteredkit was pressing his nose against his skin and it wasn’t exactly a nice feeling. His nose felt like an icicle and right now it almost made him want to laugh. Flicking his ear to acknowledge Shatteredkit’s question, he nodded his head, slowly rasping his tom over the kit’s head again. Trying to remember all the Medics he knew of just in case he needed to get the mercury eyed tom to a Med-cat.

“No, we crossed the border awhile back,” he said, nodding his head before chuckling at the other comment, “This is free county Shatteredkit. That means the territory doesn’t smell or belong to anyone.”

Swanpaw blinked sleepily in the soft morning light. The white she-cat turned her head towards the entrance of the den. She could make out a shadow silhouetted in the gap and she raised a non-existent eye brow in inquiry. Why was the she-cat in front of her up so early? It wasn’t as if the apprentices were required to be up at dawn and she didn’t know of anyone personally who was an early riser. The dark ridge along her back crumpled slightly as she raised her head from her nest to better see the other she-cat.

“It’s Viperpaw isn’t it? Why are you up so early?” she asked, her tone calm and rather sleepy as she inquired into the other she-cats sleeping habits.

The small she-cat nodded and prowled forwards again, making a conscious effort to keep her paw steps light. She padded slowly across the dusty training hollow and moved quietly back and forth across the large space. She felt slightly unbalanced though, trying to think to hard as she placed one paw in front of the other. Her tail stuck high in the air probably wasn’t helping anything either and she tried to pull it down as she moved. Sighing in frustration she looked up at Tawnycloud.

“I can’t get it right, I feel so unbalanced and all over the place.”

Swanpaw nodded in understanding and stood up, arching her back to get out the kinks. Padding over she sat down beside the snake eyed apprentice. Wrapping her tail neatly over her paws she looked over at the other she cat. She had a sense that something was bothering her but she didn’t want to press her too hard, flicking her tail towards the dawn patrol as they were leaving Swanpaw raised an eyebrow.

“Do you want to talk about it?” she asked, blue eyes shining in question.

Scorpiopaw nodded, somewhat reassured by her mentors words. She relaxed her muscles again and slid into the pose. Creeping across the hollow she smiled when she got to the end, feeling slightly better then she had before. Turning back to Tawnycloud she grinned,

    “When can we go hunting?”

Scorpiopaw scrunched up her face in concentration. The look took over her face and was almost laughable in its sincerity. Opening her mouth she drew in a breath and let the forest wash over her. The breeze blew through her fur and she smile as the warm scent of mouse was carried along with it. Un-scrunching her face she looked around before nodding towards some buses.

“I think there’s one over there,” she whispered before getting into the crouch she’d been practicing. Padding slowly towards the mouse she lent forwards on her paws and tried to remember to be light. Scorpiopaw was about a meter away before she leapt. Unsheathing her claws while she was in the air the she-cat misjudged the distance and as she landed Scorpiopaw hit the ground hard. She quickly turned around, but it was too late, the mouse was nowhere to be seen. Sighing in frustration she sat back on her haunches and glared at the spot where the mouse had been.

Scorpiopaw padded away from her mentor head held high as she bounded towards the freshkill pile. The sandy coloured she-cat was in a good mood. She’d managed to catch a mouse earlier and learnt some new fighting skills, it was a good turn around since her last training session. She grabbed a blackbird from the pile and nodded to Rainpaw as she sat down.

“How’s your day been?” she questioned, eager to hear news from another apprentice.

    ooc: ^^

Swanpaw blinked, surprise written all over her features. The white she-cat was definitely unprepared for the outburst she’d just witnessed. The echoing sunlight was beginning to filter into the den, lighting the nests with warm newleaf sun. Shaking her head slightly so that she could respond, Swanpaw placed her tail on Viperpaw’s shoulder and looked at her with concern.

“Which prophecy would that be Viperpaw?” the she-cat asked, blue eyes looking over the apprentice in front of her, “and which part do you play in it? You kind of need to give me some more information.

Swanpaw watched quietly as Viperpaw recited a prophecy, the cogs inside her mind spinning as the she-cat foretold the future through words. She waited in silence, the morning sun shattered across her pelt and dusted across Viperpaws’. It was like listening to a song bird, or the babble of the river. The words wove together to create a picture, something that wasn’t understandable and left open for interpretation.

    ‘One from Wind,
    One from River,
    One from Shadow,
Will join together in the night of all,
Shall rest the stones before they fall,
To enter a world where none before...’

Swanpaw sighed as Viperpaw finished, stating the prophecy had been cut off. Swanpaw closed her eyes in thought, turning the words over in her mind as she tried to disclose possible meanings. After a few moments she opened her eyes again and looked over at Viperpaw.

“Well, even if you don’t have the rest of the prophecy it could be very open to interpretation,” she said, resting her tail the other she-cat’s shoulder, “I’ll help you try and work through it if you want?”

A shadow prowled through the forest, its black form moving slowly between the pines. The glowing eyes of a feline pierce through the darkness giving off an eerie appearance. Ebonblossom was out in the middle of the night, doing a small bit of hunting. She’d heard the sounds of mewling from a fair distance away and the she-cat was padding in the direction of the noise to investigate. The she-cat glanced through the bushes, moving between the foliage. Spotting the calico kit Ebonblossom rushed forwards and hurriedly licked the top of the kit’s head.

“Where did you come from little one?” she asked, pushing her nose into the small kit’s fur and glancing anxiously at her injuries. The lone queen leaned down, her eyes filled with worry.

The Riverclan apprentice nodded, her blue eyes filled with understanding. She though over what Viperpaw had said and wondered over what she’d meant by having power over snakes if it hadn’t been mentioned in the prophecy. She tilted her head to the side before opening her maw and asking.

“What is it that makes you think you’ll be able to control snakes? Is there another part of the prophecy you know about or has someone else made a prediction?”

The she-cat smiled and licked the top of the kit’s head again, her ebony black fur blending into the darkness of the night. She crouched low to the ground and sat back on her haunches slightly, watching the calico kit with sorrow filled eyes.

“I’m sorry to hear about your parents young one. My name is Ebonblossom and you’re on Shadowclan territory. I’ll take you back to the nursery so we can get you something to eat,” she mewed, leaning down to grab the small she-cat’s scruff.

Ebonblossom bobbed her head and gripped Icekit’s scruff more tightly, grateful that the small she-cat wasn’t struggling. The tall queen bounded forwards into the forest, moving quickly through the trees and undergrowth. She’d recently been the adoptive mother of a kit named Shadowkit and was fairly positive that she still had milk left over. And if she did start suckling this young she-cat her milk would bulk up again soon enough. Leaping over a small log she hurried back to camp eager to be back in the comfort of the nursery.

Scorpiopaw looked from Jadepaw to Rainpaw and back again before nodding her head in agreement. The sandy coloured she-cat leaned forwards, more than happy to hear a good tale of adventure. She flicked one rusty -red coloured ear and waited with baited breath.

“Your day sounds like it was tons more exciting than mine,” the she-cat stated, eager to get Rainpaw to talk.
