Xayla watched him walk away, then sighed quietly. She walked in the opposite direction towards the school dorms. As she entered the dorm building, she began searching for her room. "Room 36.." she whispered, stopping right in front of her door. She opened the door and walked in, making sure to shut and lock the door back. She walked over to her bed and sat down, taking off her heels and placing them against the wall. She layed down and closed her eyes, slipping into a light sleep.

Xayla sat upright on her bed, giving a tiny yawn as she stretched her arms. She rubbed her eyes a little and then looked out the window. She groaned a bit as she walked over to the small book case in her room and looked at all the different novels. She ended up pulling "Love and Battles" out. She loved a good romantic novel with a little action sprinkled in. She sat back down on her bed, opening the book.

Xayla put the book down and put her shoes back on. She unlocked her door, opened it and walked into the hallway. She shut the door behind her and took off towards the doors leading outside. As she exited the building Xayla hadn't heard or sensed the new aura that had just entered her range of focus. Someone reached out and grabbed her shoulder, causing her to quickly turn around and smack whoever had grabbed her. But she stopped right as her hand reached his face. "Hey pip, long time no see." he said, smiling at her. Xayla's eyes widened as she looked long and hard into the eyes of her childhood friend Yamato. "Y-Yamato?! What are you doing here!" she asked in a shocked tone.

Yamato ruffled Xayla's hair. "Checking in on my little sis in High School, duh." Xayla sighed l, she fixed her hair back and said, " I really think that you should stop ruffling my hair. I'm not a little kid anymore." He began to laugh on the inside. He only only rubbed the back of his neck and sighed and said, "I know you aren't little girl anymore, but you've never even proven that to me." Xayla was furious with her brother. She stepped back and shot a blast of Dazzling Gleam at her brother. She watched as he walled towards her, unscathed.
