    human/walker/infected

    name: Asha
    age: 17
    personality:You either love the girl or you hate her. While she's known to wind up people the wrong end and cause a fight whenever she feels like it, she can be emotionally understanding and knows when enough is enough. She likes to have a good laugh and try new things which can lead her to doing reckless things that can get her and others into trouble. She's witty and sarcastic - someone you'd want on your side because she'd give you hell otherwise.
    history: She doesn't like to talk about it. The most she has left of her history now is her brother and the photograph of their family.
    weapon: A sharp dagger and a semi-automatic pistol - which she uses mainly for emergencies since bullets are hard to find.
    supplies: Some food sachets, some tins and a few bottles of water. She also has a map and a medical book - you never know when you'll need it. At the bottom of her rucksack she has a photo of her family before the infection spread.

    -- good when it comes to a fight
    weaknesses;
    -- can irritate people a lot

    name: Andrew
    age: 24
    personality: Silent and secretive, you can never really tell what he is thinking. He watches people, observes their strengths and weaknesses. He doesn't trust anyone even though he might manipulate you in thinking you're on his side. Really, the only person he cares about is himself - it's all about survival of the fittest. He'll do anything to keep that and doesn't care how far he has to go for both his group and himself.
    history: Unknown. He never talks about it and has nothing left of his life before the apocalypse began.
    weapon: A rifle for longer distance with a useful scope. He mainly uses his gun to beat down the Walkers.
    supplies: A survival kit - maybe he was in the military? He has a bag full of just about everything - rope, matches, battery-powered torches and everything else he needs to survive.
    strengths;
    -- he is physically strong
    -- he is manipulative of people
    -- he will do anything to keep himself safe
    weaknesses;
    -- he is cold and isolated
    -- he will easily slip into insanity
    -- he is stubborn and can be hot-headed

    [align=center][font=comic sans ms]Asha's eyes peeked up as Lucian passed her. They glinted red a little - they always did with the blood-lust. With a smirk on her face she turned on her heels and followed him, until her reached the balcony. She arched her eyebrow at him and leaned on the doorpost. "Hey, Lucy, when you're done admiring the view, you want to come hunting? I'm starving."

    [align=center][font=comic sans ms]She gave a shrug. "Whatever you say ..." Her smirk melted in a grin and she stepped off away from the wall, red eyes starting to darken. "It's late, there won't be any decent-smelling humans out. Let's see what you can do, Lucy." She tapped her foot impatiently, backing down the hallway.

    [align=center][font=comic sans ms]Asha kicked her heels. She was sitting at the top of the gate, near the church-yard. The afternoon light shattered down across the road, but with the shade of the covering oak tree she found a quiet solace in the place of her own company.

    THE WALKING DEAD ;; YOU CAN'T TRUST ANYONE
    NINE MONTHS AFTER OUTBREAK

    --

    Andrew had never been much for direct confrontation. He liked to get other people to do things for him. Perhaps that was why when the initial outbreak broke out nine months ago, people flocked away from him having other people to look after. Other, silly little things which you never appreciated before they disappeared forever. Even the simple things like food and water, they were all the difference now between life and death. Then again, Andrew had never really been reliant on other people. Even with his parents stumbling about him like busy bees he took it open himself to work it out. He made it work, for him. He ran a hand through his black hair, the sight of his tattoos catching his attention. Twelve of them, he had - most of them across the right side of his body. He had always been fascinated by them. Worst thing was, he would never get another added to his collection. Where in the midst of hell do you find a decent tattoo parlour?

    He listened out, heard a small shuffling sound on the street. He paused and pulled out his rifle, aiming out the butt of it in front of him. If it was a Walker, he'd take care of it. They weren't hard to manage in small numbers. It was the people you had to take care of. They were the real killers when it came down to it. He pulled close to the side of the road. Maybe he had imagined it - it wouldn't be for the first time. He imagined things everywhere now, noises, whispers, voices. What can you trust if you can't even trust your own eyes? He listened closer. A shuffling noise. There it was again. He was certain of it. Somewhere up along the street, maybe in one of the bushes. He hesitated. He was out in the open. It was the safest place because you could see everything out there, but it wasn't safe when everything else could see you.

    --

    Asha stuffed another pack of sweets into her back-pack. What was she thinking of, stashing a packet of dry jelly-babies to feed to her brother? How were they supposed to feed on that? More importantly, how was she going to tell him that she was running out of supplies? She turned over her shoulder with a sigh. Her brother was all she had left now of the outside world. With a knife in one hand and a fierce grimace she closed the kitchen cupboard and turned around. Along with some matches and a spare blanket there wasn't much more she had managed to find.

    "Toby? Did you find anything?" she called out quietly, pulling out of the kitchen and looking down the hallway. The house was dark and dusty. Anything could crop out nowhere and while she knew her brother would have to start fending for herself, she wanted to know he was safe at all times. Their parents would want that, wouldn't they? She zipped up her rucksack and pulled it behind her back. Maybe they could scavenge another house and then find somewhere safe to stay for the night. She wasn't going to take any chances, not where Tobias was involved.

    It was cold outside, colder than she had expected. You didn't think about those sort of things when you left the house, blood hot in a temper. The only thing that was in your mind was that you had to get away from there - away from what they were saying to you, and the only place away from them was outside in the stiff, mid-autumn cold. Winter was coming, Eliza knew that, so maybe before she was angry enough to storm out of the house she should have thought about taking a coat out first. Not that she cared about getting cold - she had too much pride to head back home and grab something warm. Home. It wasn't home and she never wanted to face them again. All she cared about now was staying out for as long as she could. Why did the summer have to end? She hated the winter and the sharp, poisonous cold. She wanted the soft, gentle spring and the sparkling sun. Her whole family had been happier then, when Dad was home. She pushed the thought away with a shake of her head. That didn't matter now, nothing did. Things changed and people followed them.

    Her trainers crunched along the frost of the field, grinding the grass beneath her feet. At least it wasn't too windy. The field was a nice place, quiet and empty - with the occasional dog-walker passing by. A quiet neighbourhood in a quiet, boring town balanced out the hectic life her parents had brought onto her. She wished she wasn't an only child, that she would have someone out there to play with - a brother to kick a ball about with, a sister to practise braiding hair - not that she was a girly girl, of course. She glided across the grass, not quite sure where she was going and where she would stop, only that it wouldn't be back to her house - not for a long time. Sometimes she even thought about running away, but things weren't really that bad, were they? People had it much worse out there. Although she'd never admit it to anyone in the world, she was lonely. Her parents wouldn't stop quarrelling and ever since she had gotten in trouble at school her life was taking a downwards spiral for the worse.

    It was funny because she had always been a good girl, deep down. She got her head stuck into her studies and kept her mouth shut, but since recently she had just stopped caring. What use was school if he didn't know what she wanted to do in life? She didn't even learn anything at school anyway, so sometimes she just stopped going altogether. Not that her parents would ever notice, they were far too busy to concentrate about her. Eliza came to a halt in the middle of the field, standing there for a moment and clutching her jumper tightly against her chest. She huddled a little. A pair of casual jeans covered her legs, at least keeping them warm. She took a deep breath and sighed. How she wished time would go back six months, maybe twelve. How different she was then, how different the world was. And warmer, too.
