[fancypost borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 455px; text-align: justify;]The Gemling had recently escaped from her former home and prison. She was called JI1NX3, by the scientists at the lab. She wouldn't know, being only one moon old and not having anyone to teach her how to speak or understand matters as such. The child was ignorant of most things, because of that. She was the product of some underground research center that mainly focused on mutations. The cub never knew her parents, if she had any. The humans also had claimed that she was a leopard, despite her unusual completely white pelt, devoid of the usual light grey patterning the most of her albino kind had.
Everything about her was strange and different, except for her eyes, which were the normal light pink of albinos. The most unique quality about her was the strange white metal growing on her pelt. It was a consisted of a diamond metal alloy. Her wings were the most prominent part of that. Mostly only her limbs, were plated by sectioned pieces of the same metal, one could think of it as armor. Her claws were made of the material as well. The Gemling never thought of it as strange, having never seen another living creature besides the humans. This made her believe everything was weird, after wandering around in the wilderness for two days. She had encountered many beings, such as deer, some cats and prey animals. The child kept away from them though, and stayed hidden.
Being rambunctious was her nature, never having been outside before until this escapade. Anyone would act the same if they have never have seen the skies or grass. Since she had been trapped in the lab her whole short life, so far, really gave a her a more positive view of the world we know. It was hard to not be excited about seeing the littlest things. Plus, she was a curious and easily excited cub, full of youthful energy. The girl would be chasing butterflies and plucking off their wings if they were in season. As implied from the sentence before, living in a lab of constant seclusion, except from human contact, messed her up in a way. This fucked up-ness had been ingrained into her brain. The cub was kept in darkness most of the time, there was only light when they came to poke needles into her and feed her. Sometimes some high profiled looking ones would come to visit, admiring her strange appearance. But being alone most of her life, the child grew to have a strong dislike of becoming bored. She didn’t hate life at the lab as it was pretty easy to live in but she hated being unoccupied. That was something that would affect her for the rest of her life.
She didn't understand much, as said before but even someone as clueless as this one, but understood the primal cravings of hunger and the want to be warm. It was winter and there was snow on the ground, she had desperately tried to keep her heat trapped by fluffing up her kitten fur, it helped to a certain extent. Stepping onto the somewhat different smelling land, not knowing that this land belonged to a group or anyone at all, the girl quickly scaled a tree and waited for something living to pass by. The Gemling didn't know that during winter all the prey went into a deep sleep but that didn't matter. She had a simple mentality, eat anything that moves when hungry, courtesy of the live meals the scientists had given her. She had killed them all herself. Waiting in the branches of the tree, bright pink eyes watched every movement in the area, occasionally sniffing with impatience.
After fifteen minutes of waiting, her uncharacteristic patience paid off. Another trespasser came into view, a little ginger she cat. Her small nose twitched with excitement as the scent wafted into her nostrils. With an rushed but silent leap, the child dive bombed out of the tree, landing on the startled feline's back. Her claws and teeth weren't enough to kill, that was another thing she knew, learned by herself back at the lab and the few days she had outside. Quickly twisting her body and maneuvering her wings the correct way, the Gemling decapitated the loner with her razor sharp feathered wings. Blood arced from the recently guillotined stump onto the snow, painting some spots of it red. She ignored the beauty of it, the child was too hungry to care.. As the body dropped to the ground with a thud, the cub buried her small face into the domestic, ripping fur and skin out of the way to get to meat. She was unaware of the taboo of cannibalism, as you can see. Stripping the unwanted parts off the body, the child gorged on the hot steamy flesh that offered her belly warmth.
//lol, shes basically joining. someone take her in and civilize her.
