"My species is Connochaetes gnou, also known as the black wildebeest or white-tailed gnu," Dmitri explained. He was familiar with jaguars--the spotted cats inhabited wet forests half a world away from the wildebeest's natural habitat of the dry savannahs. His race would be more familiar with leopards and lions.

"There is no need to apologize," Dmitri answered. If he was anyone else, he might've uttered an expletive, but no, he wasn't anyone else. Well maybe someone else would be interested.

"You do not have to look twice if someone calls your name," Dmitri added with a soft smile.

A slight frown creased his brow. "My apologies. Did I offend you?" Dmitri asked. She sounded...a bit miffed.

"I suppose I like anything...as long as we learn. That's the entire purpose of school, a public education," Dmitri continued. Idly picking away at his lunch to finish the rest of it, he found himself glancing around, searching for other familiar faces. However, they were very few and far in between. The dark-haired teen had just moved in from another country, after all.

"Doing my duty," Dmitri answered. "My least favorite task is idleness."
Yes, he was a pretty hard worker.

"It does indeed sound like...a plan," Dmitri managed. That was what they said, right? It was a plan. He was rather proud of using the word properly. He wasn'tplanning on selling anything though. Kale came free.

"Indeed," the shaggy-headed antelope confirmed and nodded.

"I am attempting to cook to make this more edible for the feline palate, Fargo," Dmitri explained. He brought the pan off the fire and sniffed the kale leaves. Crispy.

"Drama sounds interesting," Dmitri remarked. He had never been an actor of sorts...but it never meant he couldn't try. He fidgeted a bit, his fingers tapping alongside the edge of the desk.

Dmitri returned a small shy smile of sorts as he kinda side-stepped in time with Cain. He wondered when and how this 'dance' ended. After all, he had never exactly done this before.

"I will hopefully be running a booth in a possible upcoming food festival," Dmitri said proudly with a small nod. The wildebeest was rather...proud of it. He looked over at Fargo, as if questioning if the wolf was involved with that festival as well.

"Cats are obligate carnivores, but that does not mean they do not consume plants," Dmitri corrected in his usual matter-of-factly voice. The wildebeest's nose twitched slightly as he bent down to sniff his creation. "In fact, there are certain nutrients that cats can only get by eating plants. Some cats do enjoy eating grass."

"I do not know. In truth, I have only joined recently as well," Dmitri answered.

[fancypost bgcolor=; width: 500px; font: normal 14px times new roman; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify]
"Of course," Dmitri agreed. He used flower prints to grow a small, tender young kale plant. Hopefully, not so bitter to the palate. He glanced over at Fargo, wondering if the wolf would partake.

He glanced over at Ashton, waiting for the final say on the whole thing. Maybe he could go talk with the others organizing the food festival first.

[fancypost bgcolor=; width: 500px; font: normal 14px times new roman; borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify]
"I am very happy there aren't," Dmitri agreed. He would be a lot more confused if there was someone similarly named.

"Dmitri Krushnic. Pleasure to meet you," the wildebeest offered.

Dmitri's going to be awkward at love
"Thank you," he answered. He noticed the blush on Cain's face. Humans blushed when they were...embarrassed? But she had nothing to be embarrassed about.
