Mary looked up and made quick eye contact with Cas, noticing his concern. She looked away quickly, her face turning hot in embarrassment. She didn't realize she was so easy to read. "Okay, let's do it then."

OOC: I know the struggle! I moved into the house I live in now, last year. Right now everyone headed over to Sam's motel room in Texas, they're gonna ask him about the whole Lucifer bit.
-
"Wait, we're bringing the kid?" Mary raised an eyebrow, following her dad. "Is that really a good idea?"
-
"And how the hell are we supposed to do that?" Beth asked, trying to be realistic. "I mean, how many angel blades do we have, one? It's the damn devil, I can't even imagine how many demons he's probably going to be surrounded with."
-
"Sam, all due respect, but we don't even know what Lucifer's capable of. You could get yourself killed." Beth said, shaking her head. "I really think we need to figure out what we're getting into before we just freakin' rush into it, or we're gonna get slaughtered."
-
"You think maybe Bobby has something on the devil?" Beth turned to Dean. "I think we need all the information we can get."
-
"That's kinda odd." Beth noted. "That he stays in the same place. Why isn't he, you know, wreaking havoc on the world? Isn't that kinda suspicious?"
-
"Let's not try and get anyone killed here, okay?" Mary sighed, exasperated, not to mention already worked up. "She's just a baby, that's all I'm saying. You wouldn't take me with you on a hunt if I was her age, would you?" She knew that Abdiel could be a liability, if they didn't figure out how to keep her calm.
-
"Fine." Mary huffed and follow Dean out the door. She turned to Castiel and Yvriel, and noted the quiet Abdiel, feeling a bit better about bringing her along. "You guys ready?"
-
Mary let out a chuckle and turned to walk out of the house. "Let's get a move on, then. I got my truck if y'all wanted to ride with us."
-
"That doesn't sound good, at all." Beth shook her head. "This whole things isn't that great. We got anything on actually stopping the devil?"
-
OOC: I know the pain! I have four projects at this point. Chemistry, Spanish, English, and Dance. And then AP World History is just bleeeeggghhh.
IC: "So we're back to square one, then, aren't we?" Beth huffed. She had a hunch, since demons happened to come from Lucifer, maybe the same things that screwed with the demons, would screw with the devil? Although she didn't know for sure.
-
"If you like my dad's car then ride in his car. It's this wonderful thing called choice. Jesus." Mary picked up her pace as she walked toward her truck. She opened the driver's door and looked into the mess her truck was. She'd totally forgotten. There was knives and other fun things on the floor of the passenger seat. The back was clean though, just her phone on the seat and a sweatshirt on the floor.
"Damn it." She sighed. "If anyone's riding in my truck, you best sit in the back." -
"I can do that." Beth grinned as she found the bed she'd assumed wasn't Sam's, and climbed onto it with ease. Of course, it'd been a long day, and she wasn't going to deny herself comfort when it was right in front of her. She rolled onto her back and stared up at the ceiling, hands behind her head. "We've got a lot of brainpower here. We've got to be able to think of something."
OOC: oh yes, finals. I have one next week, and the rest of them in three. We always take exams on our last days before winter break.
-
"I mean, I know there's other religions that believe in an apocalypse, not necessarily started by Lucifer though. That's one place to start." Beth shrugged, oblivious to Dean's smirking. "Or maybe the angel knows something. Lucifer used to be an angel after all, right?"
-
Mary rolled her eyes at her father and got into the driver's seat of her truck, starting up the engine.
"It's not as nice as my dad's car, but it'll have to do." She said to Cas, stepping on the gas and following the Impala. "He can be quite the asshole about it sometimes, but whatever." -
Beth propped herself up on her elbows to look around the room for the angel, but he'd disappeared. "Damn it. You weren't kidding when you said he did that constantly. That's gonna get annoying real fast."
She twisted her body around so that she was sitting up again on the edge of the bad. "Fine. Well, at least we could maybe find out where Lucifer is hiding out. Sound good?" -
"Why's that, Cas?" Mary asked, attempting to keep the conversation up. Truthfully, Mary didn't know much about Cas, though he'd been around a lot.
-
"I know the feeling." Mary looked back at him through the rear-view mirrior, sending him a sympathetic smile. "This whole thing makes me feel uneasy."
-
"I'm that easy to read, huh?" Mary chuckled, mostly at herself. She rolled her eyes at the impala in front of her, what seemed like sonic booms radiating from it from the loud music. "No worries, Cas."
