Rangi is the very definition of fun and games. The dog lives for parties and for the adrenaline rush thus how he usually gets himself in troubles. But when it comes to emotions and kiss games he gets shy and awkward and acts like a ignorant pup. Rangi is not someone who is very in tune with his feelings, he ignores them completely most of the time cause he thinks they are a nuisance and only cause confusion. If someone flirted with him he wouldn't even get the signals, he's just too headstrong and thick headed. However when he does get it he tends to act like a pup and shy away, mainly cause he is scared of getting emotionally attacked to someone, he's scared of what he might do to them.

Still a game is a game so the emotionally ignorant dog trotted towards the gathering. He was thinking of not joining in but sometimes you gotta do what you don't want to spice things ups. Heart beating harder and harder with each paw step and his nerves shot up pumping adrenaline though his veins. Oh great, now he feels nervous and a puppy like expression appeared on his face making him appear adorable. But Rangi won't let this get the better of him so he slapped a bright friendly smile on his face to cover up the nervousness. Trotting happily he will sit down in the circle and wag his tail slightly, his bright goldenrod eyes scanning the animals gathered and he nods a greeting to everyone of them.

His eyes caught on a unfamiliar dog among them and he smiles at Estella "Hey! Don't think I have seen you around before. I am Rangi Mahali by the way" he has a deep rough voice with a thick african accent.

"How you manage to get yourself into these situations, I'll never know."

A low chuckle slipped pass his charred lips as he heard those words. How? Well 80% of the time Rangi doesn't even know, these things simply seem to come to him like he's a magnet for trouble or maybe someone from upstairs hates him and is making his life like one big playground. Or he's cursed? Who knows! Growing up in the african wilds he has come across some shady and strange animals and he's angered a few, maybe one of them was a shaman or something. Whatever the case is, at least he will never get bored.

Looking at the calico he smirked and parted his lips to speak in his rough deep voice lanced in his afrianc accent "Well if you must know. I made myself a hammock on one of the tall trees, suspended in mid air, than while I was sleeping a monkey jumped on me and slapped me for no reason, seriously monkeys are so strange. The added weight made the whole thing snap. So I fell down, mind you it wasn't a small drop, and as I was falling I got tangled up in vines, not to mention hit a couple of branches on the way and get a mouthful of leafs" he narrowed his eyes "And the whole time the monkey just sat there laughing at me. I wanted to tear it apart but sadly I was all tangled up and couldn't even get up, took me a hour to wiggle my legs out of the bonds" he sighed "So stressful" But not that he thinks about it again, it was pretty funny. I mean a random monkey just appeared out of nowhere and slapped him for no reason? I swear things like these can only happen to Rangi.

As his friends cut him loose he smiled and wiggled his body to let the vines slide off of him. Now free his smile grew wider and brighter "Asante!" he said and will give Jay a playful lick of gratitude. Oh how good it felt to move without those vines rubbing against his fur.

Those odd little phrases you say sometimes... Do they mean something?

Hearing the calicos words he looks down at her and smirks "Of course they mean something! What do you think? I make up words for the fun of it? I'm crazy but I'm not that crazy!" he let out a heart laugh and will try to playfully ruffle the fur on her head with his front paw "They are words in a different language, the language I was taught when growing up." he scratched behind his ear with his hind leg "I haven't truly mastered your language so I sometimes have trouble recalling some names of objects and say them in my language" Language, languages everywhere.

Hearing a voice surprised Rangi and so he quickly snapped his head out of the hole, but being reckless and careless he hits the back of his head on the rim of the hole. "Gh" he groaned and rubbed the spot as the continued to slowly pull his body from the hole. face twisted in slight pain he looks around to see who said that. Oh it's Avorio. Slapping a sheepish grin on his face he scratches the back of his head in a embarrassed manner "Uh...well actually no but that's a good idea. I should do that" he chuckled, now that bright smile of his replacing the sheepish grin "I was actually looking for something that would be perfect for this kind of night. Too bad I can't remember where I buried the blasted thing" he let out a sigh. He has a lot of things buried on this beach cause every once in a while he comes across a human object that has washed ashore. Maybe he should think of a better hiding place than the whole fricking beach!

And he so wanted to use it on this beautiful starry night.

"Hm...I think it is but I don't think we would want to go out with that bear patrolling. Though let's follow this tunnel and see where in leads" he points with his chin at a pretty narrow and equally creepy runnel at the end of the cave. He will playfully bump Ymir's shoulder with his front paw "Common Let's see what lurks in the darkness!"

    (Rushed)

The african wild dog sat on the beach on a clear and Sunny day. In front of him is a small bonfire, he didn't actually made that fire, he just happened to run past a log that broke off due to a lightning strike and caught on fire. So Rangi thought why not use it? With a devilish grin on his maw he made this bonfire and he has a couple of plants next to him. More precisely they are roots and leafs from the Tabernanthe iboga plant, a vegetation he brought with him as he left africa. It's a hallucinogenic mixed in with a sleeping agent, really powerful stuff even in small dosages.

In his homeland this plat is used for many rituals, the shamans of the pack would chew on the roots and go in a trance. Days could go by before the shaman wakes from his trip, once he does he tells of the packs future and tell of visions. It always fascinated Rangi as to how a simple plant could give a mortal the ability to speak with gods. The simple smell reminds him of his younger and happier years, it brings a nostalgic feeling to him. So Rangi thought to make his own ritual and remember the ways of his people once more. Lifting his head he will let out a booming howl "Story telling time!" Of course he is lying, he just wanted for them to come to his location.

Letting his howl die down he stands up on his paws and takes in the plants throwing them in the fire. With that devilish grin he turns tail and runs before he inhales any of the smoke knowing full well what happens if he does. He will let his new friends get a taste of his peoples traditions.

So what is this all about?

The moment your character walks in the area and breathes the smoke coming off from the bonfire he/she will fall asleep, as if they just drank a sleeping pill. In the dream realm they will be faced with obstacles. Your character must surpass their inner conflict, they must face their demons and biggest fears to wake up. Anything can happen in the dream realm, from tripping balls to having a spiritual connection with a god or a vision. For an example. Say your character fears ants, in the dream he/she will be faced with a giant ant. Of course the obstacles can be emotional, like a family problem, or simply something that constricts your character and make them doubt something.

There are thee badges that will be given out:
-Badge rank 1: +1000 words with your character having to overcome 3-4 spiritual, emotional or physical obstacles
-Badge rank 2: 500 words with 2 spiritual, emotional or physical obstacles
-Badge rank 3: 250 words with 1 spiritual, emotional or physical obstacle

Post your oneshots here and pm me with the amount of words you have written

Hm...I think Rangi could be Aladdin XD
Cause he's got that messy street dog appearance and he's a magnet for trouble. Or he could be Jim Hawkins from Treasure Planet, they are both rugged characters with a taste for adventure. Still haven't decided -.-

Havisham....I think she could be Thalia, that short sassy Muse from Hercules or maybe Mulan?

Anyways if you guys are having trouble on picking a suitable Disney character read through this. I'm sure you will find the right one XD

Well fck, that didn't go as planned, he hopped that he could catch her scruff than he would simply dominate over her with his weight but it seems the feline was quicker than he thought. As she turned around he wasn't quick enough to completely get out of her reach, he tried, but her claws still grazed flesh. A long claw mark etched from the top of his forehead down across his left cheek just under his left eye and ending at the top of his nose. Letting out a muffled cry, Rangi stepped back and bit on to his lower lip. The warm liquid leaking from the fresh wound, dripping on to his eye cap making his vision on the left eye red and blurry. Groaning, Rangi will shake his head and wipe some of the blood with his paw.

Pain, sweet pain. A maniac like grin spread on his face and his pupils shrunk to mere dots in a pool of yellow. "You are good. Chichiri, chichiri" his rough voice slurred from between clenched teeth, the ending seemed to be some kind of weird chant that gives him a lunatic kind of vibe. Then without a warning he dashes towards her, this time his approach much faster. He will aim to clench his jaw around her ear and push her on the violently on the ground

    Fighting: Sunday

A soft low chuckle escaped from his maw and he slightly shook his head "Yeah well once you get to know me you wouldn't be so glad to have met me" He smirked and glanced at Ymir knowing that probably the feline wasn't so thrilled the day he met Rangi. I mean the african wild dog got him in a pretty messy situation and it's no secret that Rangi is a magnet for disasters, either causing them or trouble finding it's way to him. "Kwa njia yoyote what brought you here to good old SkullClan?" oh Rangi, starting up chit chat in a public game event.

And than he heard Kleff talking about Rosencrantz. He remembers that name! It's the name of his date back while that whole dating thing was around, though he didn't get to meet her on the date, maybe cause she found out she was on one with the goofball of the Clan. Whatever the reason she had for not showing up Rangi didn't mind. Tilting his head he ponders on the thought for a moment before slightly opening his maw and simply said "Date" as quiet as he could. If dogs could blush, Rangi would be as bright as an apple. He was just so shy about these kind of stuff and clueless it makes him feel uncomfortable but if he wanted to surpass his fear of intimacy he would have to get pass this game first

    OMG YES!

    Rangi is Rafiki!
Though he could be Aladdin also but cause of his african roots I think Rafiki suits him better

    Yzma and Ymir?
    Perfect!

Well Rangi was never one for fishing or fish for that matter. He hated fish, it smelled funky and it had all those small annoying bones, it was a real nightmare for Rangi. Letting out a sigh he tugged himself towards the edge of the river and peered at the rushing water with caution in his eyes. Glancing at Avorio he gulped and spoke "Um...I don't suppose you will be willing to teach an old dog some new trick?" he chuckled slightly as he sat next to the feline. Rangi has never fished before and so he doesn't know what to do or how to capture one of those slippery rascals

    1/10

Rangi nodded his head and followed her example but cause he's a dog and much larger than a cat he decided to flatten his body to the ground, so now you have Rangi spread on his stomach as if someone hunted him and made a rug out of him. Peeking over the edge he saw a lot of shadows swimming about underwater "Is this good?" he asked cause he couldn't go lower than this and hide his shadow. Though he's a bit more worried of what comes after, how will he catch a slippery fish?

    2/10

Rangi's sad face immediately lit up as he heard Avorio offer to help and that bright smile of his quickly made it's way on to his face. "Oh...um" he thought for a moment trying to think of how it's called in their language "It's a...what do you call it? A darubini?" He shakes his head, no, that's how it's called in his language. Frustrated at his inability to think of the word he simply blabbed out "A thingy the humans use to gaze at the stars!" He resisted the urge to slap himself and simply let out another sigh "I thought it was here, but maybe it's more towards the water?" he tilted his head

Rangi simply smirked "Sure, sure" and he stepped back to let Ymir take the lead. Cause the tunnel is so narrow only one animal at a time could walk though it, so Rangi walked behind him. "So what's your story? What made you come to the Skulls?" The wild dog though to start some small chat cause it seems that this tunnel could lead on for miles. And besides, it's always better to chit chat, that way he can keep track of where Ymir is by the sound of her voice.

(Japanese is not hard but it's dam hard to read in their script XD)

So why not? Rangi decided to join this little learning session. He already knows Swahili so why not add another language on top? Trotting towards the meeting without vines sticking to him, without lizards hanging from his pelt or without burns seemed like a miracle. Looks like today will be a good day for Rangi, as long as he doesn't make a fool of himself he will be fine.

Rangi listened closely to what Avorio was speaking. Though in his head he was already playing out different scenarios of how it could go wrong. Cause everything always goes wrong for him! Shaking his head he crouches on top of his paws and watched as the feline jumped and caught a big whopper. Oh wow! that's amazing!

Yellow eyes lightened up in excitement and his tail starting to wag he nodded to Avorio and turned his eyes at the fishes swimming underneath. Scanning them quickly he remembers what Avoiro said. Jump towards where they are going, but to Rangi they all moved too fast. Narrowing his eyes he locks his sight on a small golden fish. Smirking he tenses up his hind legs and leaps towards the water. In a wild splash he sends water flying in all directions, but he didn't really land on top of the fish but he tried to catch it by wiggling around and stomping his paws on the surface of the water which only resulted in all of the fish to jetpack out of there and in his pelt to get drenched.

In a last desperate attempt he plunges his head beneath the surface in hopes of catching one with his jaw. He felt his teeth grab on to something, smiling he pulls out and looks at Avoirio "Is it big?" he asked all happy that he managed to caught something and show for all that splashing around he did, his tail wagging even faster. There in his teeth he held a branch that broke off from a tree and traveled down the stream. Oh Rangi...
