Vannozza nodded, committing that one to memory, it would be an important aspect of lying. Especially when on the battler field or potentially during political relations. He would keep quiet for the next few moments in case anyone else had a question they would like answered.

Laughing so hard right now! C:

Thanks for clarifying ^^ ~ yup, sounds like an awesome idea.

Vanno supposed he should get in on this conversation now, sitting down the cub wrapped his tail over his paws a thoughtful expression crossing over his face. He had an idea for how to potentially store a whole lot of moon water if he could construct the right sought of gear. The grey caracal would need to go and investigate, but first he thought he'd listen and make sure nothing else needed to be said.

{Argh! love that song ^^}
Vannozza nodded his head to the beat, tail tapping along in time with Destruir hands. It was great to hear someone sing, it really brought to life the colours in the world. It was such a cultural thing too, each community adding it's own spices to an ever changing mix. Settling back on his haunches Vanno closed his lavender eyes and rocked out.
"We will, we will, rock you!" he replied, grinning from head to toe, "we will, we will, rock you!"
-
Vannozza trotted over, the small caracal cub had been able to smell the mixture scents from his spot supervising construction. So they were being joined by another new comer? Excellent. The clan needed a good source of strong paws if they were going to dominate the world. Moving through the mass of bodies the young Commander was able to catch site of the pup, and he dipped his head in greetings.
"Welcome to the Dominion, I'm Vannozza," he said, lavender eyes surveying the Japanese dog breed.
-
Vanno laughed at the overt display of love and craziness that he often associated with Breakdance. Moving over the dark grey caracal surveyed the newcomer with interest. Just visiting huh? This must be a member that used to reside in the clan. Taking a seat that was a respectful distance for the reunited friends the young Commander felt a smile cross his maw. It was good to see the black feline so happy.
-
Vannozza rolled his eyes as Trophaeal's words reached his ears. The young Commander felt equal parts amused and annoyed. The pup sure knew how to pull a superior face, that was for sure. Oh well, he'd caught up with Destruir and that's what he had intended to do in the first place. The music had just been a nice addition to the whole thing. Standing once more the caracal adjusted the opal necklace that was hanging from his neck, it's gold chain catching the light of the sun as he moved. Flicking an ear at the monkey and sparing a smile to Mina, the tom decided it was time he got back to work.
"Thanks for helping with this Destruir," he called over his shoulder, padding through the gathered group of animals. With an amused laugh he threw the last comment over his shoulder with a smile, lavender eyes sparkling with mirth, "not having thumbs is a major fault for the caracal speces."
-
Vannozza nodded in thanks, a smile stretching across his maw as he regarded the older feline. He was always grateful for her input. Sometimes it felt like Breakdance was that awesome, crazy, aunt member of the clan and it made Vanno glow with pride to have her complement his work. Quietly he waited for a response to his question.

{Offering Vanno as an anchor ^^)
Like most days now, Vannozza seemed to be busy. Padding through the corridor the grey caracal held a bunch of papers in his maw. The aged and yellow stained pieces were covered in black lines and the scrawled script that the Dominion wrote with. The young cub, since being promoted to Commander, was in the process of inventorying the castle. Checking what supplies they had, the nearest entrances and exits and whether various projects he had detailed in his mind would be possible.
He didn't find it at all unusual that he came across a gathered party of animals. The Dominion was an incredibly supportive group, even if they were ambitious. Flicking his tail in greeting as he approached the cub put the various papers on the ground. He couldn't very well talk if his mouth was full of sums,
"Anything I can do to help?" he asked, concerned lavender eyes looking over each face. Gods help him if some one else had departed to the otherside...
-
Vanno turned his head as a sudden commotion burst into the room. In a whirl wind of pastel colour his brother Caesaria collapsed to his side, unsteady on his paws after such frantic energy. The young Commander felt a smile cross his maw. Cae was late. The grey caracal wondered whether his brother had slept in or not or if he'd just completely forgotten. Flicking the other cub's shoulder with his tail, Vanno silently signaled that he didn't think any different of the rainbow tom for turning up late.
"What's going on?" he brother said, leaning over to whisper the words in his ear.
"We're working on lying," he whispered back, lavender eyes flicking over Cae's face, "There are 7 keep aspects in detecting a lie. Number 1: heart rate, number two: how long they delay in answering a question, number three: verbal/non-verbal disconnect, fourth: hiding your eyes, five: whether a person swallows or not, sixth: rubbing of the face, ears or nose and number seven: grooming ones-self."
-
Vannozza beamed with happiness, pushing his head into his mother's side as she gave him a hug. He had trouble believing it was really happening, but he'd composed himself before so he could do so again. Returning the hug before separating from Bia the grey caracal looked over at Caesaria with shining eyes, flicking his tail in a 'thumbs up,' kind of gesture. He had so much to do and learn, the young cub was excited by the possibilities this opportunity was presenting to him. {his roleplayer would be creating a thread soon for any who wanted to help with the construction of his idea.}
"Thank you for all your congratulations," he said, turning to nod respectfully to those who had.
-
Vanno trotted in, his paws steps silent on the stone floor of the castle. He was performing a pretty good juggling act at the moment, jumping between his plans for change and trying to learn more. Fighting wasn't something he was particularly good at, though the young caracal was quite limber. He understood most of the theory behind fighting, it was just carrying it out that was sometimes difficult. Taking a seat beside his brother the young Commander flicked an ear in greeting at Breakdance.

Just posting this to keep track ^^ Also, is there an arts class/extracurricular activity? Maybe Vanno could teach that.... idk, your decision Breaky.

Vanno was strolling past, designs for plans held in a small bag over his shoulder as he passed Northpaw. The she-cat seemed to be having trouble with her paint set. Raising an eyebrow in question the young Commander wondered whether he should go over to help. He may not be very good at the physical aspects of the clan {which he affirmed would change with time}, but he was certainly a good designer. Humming a little bit before coming to a decision the caracal trotted over. Picking out a couple of bright stones from his bag Vannozza closed the cover. Then, placing his bag some distance from Northpaw's paint set, least it get spilled, the cub moved over to help.
"I always find it's best to hold down the paper with some rocks," he said, placing a stone in each corner to flatten out the paper, "then, typically I paint either holding a brush between my teeth for really fine lines, or with my paw."
Here he demonstrated by first picking up the paint brush with his teeth. Swirling it in the red paint he then drew a smooth line down the sheet. Then, placing the brush aside, he dipped the tip of his paw into the paint and repeated the gesture. The result was two lines of red, one thin and the other thick.
"Your turn," he said, returning the brush.

Vannozza Vespia had heard the shrieking from all the way down the end of the corridor, scrambling towards his own door the caracal threw it open to look down the hall way. He searched with frantic lavender eyes for the source of the noise, his paw going to the opal necklace he wore in fear. Something awful had just occurred but the cub couldn't be sure what it was. Paint was spattered across his frame from all the designing he was doing and the cautious paw steps he took out into the corridor left blue and green paint on the stone. Seeing Husher and Butters, the caracal Commander quickly bounded in his direction.
"What's going on?" he asked, looking up at the hyena.
-
Vanno shook his head before kindly saying, "You could, but you would be restricted by how large or thin your body was as you would have to sweep you tail around your body. Besides, I often find the muscles in my face and paws are much easier to control. I would still go with using your teeth. However, I can agree that if you wanted to do a broader brush stroke with some distance from the canvas, you could consider using your tail."
Turning his face toward Butter while he spoke and demonstrating the tail restriction by pulling his own around his body towards the paper. There was only around a quarter of the smooth, grey tail, available for painting with.
-
Vannozza smiled as the other kit began weaving a crown for Hero, before a thoughtful expression quickly came over the young Commander's face. So it didn't seem like the reach of the power shortage had been felt all over yet, that was interesting. Or maybe it was that these two cubs just didn't know it had reached that far yet. Pausing to glance around Vanno tried to examine the crowd wondering if they would all be turning on each other one day over the last scraps of magic. The cub caught sight of Panne and flicked his tail in greeting, though the taguel seemed to be scowling at that given moment.
