Vannozza padded up, his calculating mind already addressing the many possibilities. Looking over the apprentice he gave a thoughtful humm,

"Environment can be a huge factor," the young cub meowed, tail flicking back and forth behind the dark grey caracal. As he opened his mouth to speak again Vanno removed his necklace and held it up, miming a noose motion around his own neck, "but if possible you can suffocate your opponent. Equally, a hard enough blow to the nose will shove it up into the brain, killing instantly."

He put his necklace down again, point about suffocation made. But not wanting to put it back on incase he was about to get dirty.

    {I thought I replied to this but it was all in my head. Derp ^^}

Vanno smiled at the complement, this was his favourite out of the small collection of jewellery that the caracal owned. It had been place carefully in one of draws in his room by a previous inhabitant of the castle, and well... Finders keepers. He puffed out his chest a bit so he could look down upon the bright blue opal. It really was a lovely stone and the cub admired it greatly for all it's poise and beauty. Sucking his lip into his mouth he looked back up at Breakdance and Panne,

"I like it too," he said softly.

    ~ Sometime Later ~

Vannozza padded back into the room he had stood in to discuss his most recent plans for the basket/pulley system. The cub had been hard at work putting his ideas to paper and he finally had some fruits to show for it. The caracal was pretty sure that Destruir was already hard at work carving out the first few pieces and he didn't want to disappoint the two seniors with empty paws. Pulling the piece of paper from his back, Vanno lay it out on the floor for all to see. He folded his tail over his paws and waited for either of the two, to arrive so that he could explain the changes.

Vannozza basked in what little sunlight that afternoon had produced, it warmed his dark grey back and through into the bones underneath. The caracal had pulled his favorite purple pillow all the way from his room to sit on the steps of the castle and stare into the gathering darkness. Shadows had begun to claw their way from the forest, stretching long fingers over the long an untended lawn. Closing lavender coloured eyes he took in a deep breath and let it out, it was nice to be away from some of the crowds.

Vanno knew that some, and he amoung them, would be moving to the island soon. The humans were too close and this expressed statement had been seen through their attacks. No more, his mother must have decided. Opening his eyes again the cub checked with a paw to make sure his necklace still hung around his neck. But he needn't of bothered, the heavy weight of the Opal on a gold chain was a reassuring reminder of Breakdance's words about being himself. As he was doing so something seemed to stumble and shiver it's way out from the edge of the forest, making it's way up to the castle.

The young cub stood, fur starting to rise on his back, "Who goes there?" he called, voice carrying away from him on the wind.

"Mina?! Vannozza called in surprise, moving away from the purple pillow and starting to make his way down the steps. It wasn't a steep incline and the steps were quite far apart so Vanno made good use of the distance by jumping down each one. He stretched his legs wider as he got to the bottom and shifted his gait to a jog, moving through the incredibly long grass in the direction he could smell his friend. He hadn't known the alabaster she-cat had friends outside of the Dominion, why hadn't she told him? He felt a small irrational pang of jealousy as most children are wont to do, before skidding up alongside the duo.

"When was the last time you ate Mister?" he questioned amiably, moving cautiously forwards, "Mina? How do you know this canine?"

Maybe they had just meet seconds before he spotted them?

    Celestialchorus !

    Nickname: Celeste

    Gender: Female

    Orientation: Heterosexual

    Age: Unborn

    Alliance: Thunderclan

Theme(s): Secret - by The Pierces

Brief Appearance: Petite white feline with heterocromic aqua and yellow-green eyes.

Detailed Appearance: Celeste is a small fluffball of a kitten, with big doll-like eyes and shell-pink ears. A tiny little thing, Celestialkit has small rose petal pads with tiny white claws that peek from beneath the fur of her paws. She will be an uncoordinated youth because of the absence of her tail, which appears as a small puff at the end of her spine. Her pelt is a soft cream colour with interchanging patterns of apricot, peach and pearl-white. Genetically, Celeste has inherited the gene of heterocromia, her left eye is a deep reasuring blue and her right, a bright yellow-green. Her ears are slightly rounded, coming to gentle points at their ends and her whiskers are an opaque colour.

Personality: As a kitten, Celeste is bouncy and out going. She finds excitement in even the small things in life and delights in bringing her mother pretty things she's found around camp. Unaware as most children, Celestialkit will enjoy partaking in games despite the fact that she is incredibly uncoordinated. Her heterocromic eyes will be a point if interest to other but it won't be malicious.

As she ages the love she finds in beauty will increase to the point where her appearance is incredibly important to her. Celestialpaw will spend a grand amount of tiny turning back and forth in front of puddles to make sure not a speak of grime is present on her fur. At this point in her life she will also begin to understand the full consequences of not having a full tail. Instead of increasing her training in an attempt to overcome this defect Celestialpaw will feel defeated by it. The petite she-cat will start drifting away, going through the phase that all teenagers do: rebellion. Her insecurities will start to increase and she'll take to prowling the Riveran banks in search of shells.

Finally an adult, Celestialchorus will begin to take more reposibility for herself and others. Celeste will still be insecure, but she'll have found her friends and family again and not feel so overwhelmeded by her insecurities. Celeste will also begin taking some training for another day in the clan with a bobtail in order to increase her own ability. She'll be a loyal friend and lover of beauty.

    Likes:
 Celestialchorus adores the Snow. Not the dampness it brings, but the quiet blanket that it covers the forest with and the beautiful snowflakes it makes.
 She is a great lover of beauty, inside and out, male or female.
 Celeste is also quite fond of shells and can sometimes be found prowling along the Riverclan bank looking for different colours and shapes to add to her collection.

    Dislikes:
 Celestialchorus detests dirt and spends an awful amount of time cleaning her fur so it’s free of all grime.
 She also isn’t fond of the taste of ground dwelling animals for much the same reason. Believing they spend their life in the dirt and she much prefers the taste birds, animals who have touched the sky.
 Because her father is absent for her life, Celeste will grow up with trust issues regarding males, most especially felines.

    Strengths
 Celeste is persuasive, when she asks for something she tilts her head in a certain way that's garenteed to melt hearts.
 She's silent and a good listener, a calm presence and the eye of any storm.
 Celestialchorus plans ahead which makes her a pretty decent strategist.

    Weaknesses
 Celeste is terrible at all things physical. Firstly, because of her bobtail, this young feline has a skewed sense of balance. Secondly, she's a delicate soul at heart and this gets in the way of her killing her
 She's incredibly loyal to the point of blindness.
 Celestialchorus is insecure. Because of the shame she feels about her heritage Celeste is insecure abou her own place in Thunderclan and the world.

Roleplaying Sample: Celestialpaw pressed herself to the sun-soaked rock and rolled over to face the river. It was a beautiful summers day and the petite she-cat had snuck from the confines of camp to spend some alone time by the river bank. This was her favourite place in all the world and she loved coming here to escape. With a beautious sigh the hopeless apprentice close heterocromic eyes so the sun could soak he skull. It wasn't her favourite time of year, but the peace had yet to be disturbed by a patrol so Celeste felt their was no harm in her being here.

Cream was a terrible colour to try and catch the sun with but the apprentice was going to try. A fluff of a tail flickered against the heat of the rock beneath her fur and Celestialpaw's face turned sullen. Technically she should be hunting for the clan. She'd sort of attempted on the way here but it was a hopeless feat. Celeste just didn't seem to be built for takin the life of another creature. It turned her gut to have to kill and hunt, despite the facet that they would thank Starclan for the meal. Trying to float away she blanked her mind and let herself drift, it was nice to be alone in the very least.

History: Born to Rosy and Pumapaw and the product of r*pe. Celeste came into the world surrounded by her clan members and joined her only brother and mother in Thunderclan. wip

    Other: Airplanes ^^

    {No sorry, just the final sheet of paper for the original idea. He will be addressing a knew idea though ^^}

Vanno smiled, catching site of the vice leader as he entered, "Just handing in the plan for the original ideas, specifications and what-not for the lifts," here he pointed again to the piece of paper before turning to explain some of the drawings, "the pulley system can be operated by this peddle thing I found in the woods. And the rope can have various clips attached to it so we can have multiple baskets going down or up at once. The clips also mean that if a basket gets damaged we can un-clip and repair it. I still need to find some bells and check in on Destruir with the finer details, but otherwise we can begin larger construction."

Pushing the paper aside the caracal folded his tail over his paws. He would introduce his next idea after a few questions, "thinking ahead here, what with the powers in turmoil and fluctuating in and out; is it possible that I can have a very brief over view of how we support ourselves here at the castle {food, water and economy wise}. Also, do we have any long range weapons?"

Vanno pursed his lips thinking, before nodding to himself and opening his maw to tell a lie, "I am a brilliant swimmer,"

Vannozza hated swimming and his was most terrible at it. He'd had but a few lessons trying to learn how and it was an incredibly demanding activity. He was incredibly excited about this course because the cub knew he was even worse at lying then he was at swimming.

Vannozza trotted over the grass, paw steps light as the breeze that ran through his fur. He was coming to see Destruir progress, eager as he was to see the construction of his idea. As he approached the small clearing he wasn't surprised to find other members of the clan loitering around. When people had nothing to do they tended to drift and there seemed to be an echoing in the Dominion at the moment that meant people were adrift in the ocean.

As he walked over he caught the end of the conversation a curious expression coming over his features. Was Destruir a lover of music? Or just a bored soul in need of some relief. Coming up beside the monkey he looked over his shoulder at the work he had in his hands and smiled. There was no way in all nine hells that he would be able to do what the monkey was currently doing,

"It's looking good," he said, nodding at the work in his hands. He was a decent singer, the caracal thought. Though he'd never partaken in any lessons he still had the application of a child's voice, which could sweeten most things, "I can sing, if you'd like?"

Vannozza nodded in response to Mina's question, he liked to sing but wasn't very public about it. It was something the cub did in his room by himself, but he would have been willing to sing with only a couple of people around. Though it looked like that margin was quickly expiring. Vanno had sought of guessed his friend would be musical, she was always humming one song or another. Grinning as Dodger turned up the caracal flicked his tail in greeting,

"I didn't realise we had a band," he said, tilting his head in curiosity, "who's in it?"

Vanno had sat through the meeting with a respectful but curious look on his face. The young cub nodded to the various NPC's that turned their heads when his invention was brought up and felt a small but embarrassed smile grace his features. He'd worked really hard on it after all and he had a few other inventions he was currently looking into as possibilities for improving the technology of the clan. He would make his announcement soon, but would probably need to finish the larger construction first before anything else.

    As his name was called out for Commander though the caracal felt his mouth drop open in surprise. With a bit of a stupid expression on his face he nodded to Dodger in thanks, a slight smile beginning to grow across his features. As the meeting came to a close Vannozza swooped in to give Mina a huge hug, laughing at the improbability of it all. Releasing her again the cub turned to the crowd with a more controlled expression;

"I'll make the big 'reveal' in the next few days. Though I wouldn't mind some volunteers to help with the larger pieces of construction," he said, hoping his voice carried far enough, "And congrats Breakdance!"

So these milita groups would still be operating under The Dominion, they'd just have a leader that was one of the members of the clan? Correct? It sounds like a cool and complex idea, plus opens up interesting roleplay opportunities.

Vannozza blinked. And blinked again. So much information to process and take down. The young cub narrowed his eyes trying to think about everything that Breakdance had spoke of, the seven steps of someones sins. Vanno paused, there really was a lot that went into both accurately telling a lie and also detecting one from someone else. Suddenly the caracal had a thought, wrapping his tail over his paws he opened his maw and asked,

"Is there anyway to hide a lie from someone who has the ability to read thoughts and emotions? Are there shields you can put in place, or do you have to think of something else..."

The cub trailed off, lost in all the possibilities that could be applied to this skill and ways to get around those with supernatural senses.

Vanno had glanced out one of the castle windows to see most of the general familiar faces all gathered around the steps. Having wondered what was going on, but not too hurried to find out, the caracal had made his own sweet time down to hallways before finally getting to the source of all the commotion. So as a result, he was late. Gently moving through some of the NPC's the young Commander was half shocked to see both Vargulf and Dodger present. Had he just missed an envoy from another clan or something? Ah no, he thought catching snatches of the conversation, it was another new face ready to join the clan. Moving further forward still the grey tom flicked an ear in greeting,

"Hello, it seems I've missed out on most of the pleasantries. I'm Vannozza," he meowed, opal necklace gleaming in the low light.

For the first time in his very short life Vanno actually felt like he might be staring into the face of death. Mina was shaking like a leaf and the young cub was pretty sure the both of them had just had a very near miss. Nodding in acknowledgement to her request the caracal removed his paws from over his head and started creeping away from the scary corridor and back toward the sanctuary of the light. Once the two of them had reached the bottom of the stairs Vanno ran {at a pace which Mina could keep up to}. His legs pumped and stretched as he finally made the last corner, collapsing at the top. Maybe the next time they wanted to do something exciting they could just make flower crowns.

"Let's never do that again," he whispered, still out of breath from the run and the fright of his life.
