Leaves drifted down from the higher branches, disturbed by a raven hopping to and fro among perches. It regarded each twig carefully, inclining its head this way and that, before pouncing and severing its connection to the tree with keen talons. It carefully avoided the nuts, dancing past those that might do more damage than simply shower the air beneath with lazily spiraling flickers of yellow. It wouldn't have drawn the attention of any individual - it was too high in the tree to be considered prey, and completely disinterested in anything the clan cats were up to - if not for the simple fact that the branches hid more than secrets this day. From where she was curled up on a midway branch, Platinum slowly opened her eyes, a thin layer of exasperation shining in both sharp green hues. Lifting her head, she watched the carefree corvus silently, watching it flit through the branches with practiced agility. Clearly, it made its nest here somewhere, and from the branches that blanketed the forest floor at the tree's base, the bombay figured that this wasn't an uncommon practice of the bird's. She might have wondered about the odd amount of woods upon the floor, but the beech tree had seemed more comfortable than her concerns for prematurely shedding branches. Huffing out a breath and blowing a leaf from where it had settled between her eyes, the warrior stood languidly and gave herself a full-body twitch, dislodging the dozen or so leaves that covered her coat. Stretching quickly, she turned towards the trunk and made her way down to the ground, landing in a muffled crouch before glancing towards the raven again. It had paused in its intentional artificial raining to inspect the sudden appearance of a black cat from the shadows of a tree branch. Bright eyes regarded her thoughtfully, before it took wing and vanished. Shaking the rest of the leaves off of her pelt, Platinum moved to find something to do.[/justify][/fancypost]
