Vineleap sat alone near the stream, pondering, like always. Everyone who knew Vineleap knew he wasn't the best warrior of the clan. He could be fearful at times, and though he's been a warrior for awhile, he's really shy and timid. You could tell just by looking at him. All of his features were soft, including his grass green eyes. And whenever he did something, whether it was eating or grooming his pelt, he'd always go somewhere alone to do it because he was afraid of looking silly while doing it and embarass himself.

Vineleap walked around the forest. His pelt bristled. He's always been scared of Shadowclan, and any can from it. Walking so close to the border was probably a bad idea, but with his stuffed nose from his cold due to the weather, he couldn't smell the markings.
-
Vineleap looked to Dawnrise and smiled timidly, chuckling sweet as honeysuckle. "Y-Yeah! Thank you for asking. H-how about you, Dawnrise?" He asked.
-
"I-I'm sorry... I could leave if you want to be alone.... I don't mean to be a burden." He stuttered, shakily shifting in his place. Great. He messed up talking to the prettiest she cat in the clan. Not only was she pretty, but brilliant and humble to. And now Vineleap had messed it up by bugging her.
-
Vineleap smiled a bit, a blush on his face when the she-cat nudged his shoulder. "Y-yeah, okay." He said timidly, helping Dawnrise up with his muzzle as an instinct. "Lead the w-way, Dawnrise."
-
Vineleap looked around, his grass green eyes sparkling. "Woah, it is!" He exclaimed. Even in the dimmest light, his snow white and light silver pelt always had it's own way of shining. "It's incredible!" He exclaimed as loudly as he could, though it still came out soft and timid. "What a coincidence, huh? A beautiful she cat living in a beautiful home!" He immidiently stopped himself as his ears folded down and he blushed madly, looking away. "S-sorry, sorry, that just slipped out!"
-
Vineleap smiled as he gladly padded over to her, laying next to her in the grass. "E-even though it slipped out.. I-I did mean it..... I think you're really pretty." He said, his fur turning redder as he avoided eye contact.
-
Vineleap's eyes widened for an instant before leaning back against her, a small smile on his shy face. "I-I'm suprised about th-that. L-looking at you, I'm suprised another tom hasn't let you know already.." He said in a small voice.
-
Vineleap looked down before leaning his warm head cheek against Dawnrise's head. "Yeah, I know what you mean." Then he couldn't help but drape his tail over her back. "B-But you have me now.. I-I'll be there for you whenever you need me."
-
Vineleap smiled, purring and closing his eyes. He's always secretely liked, maybe even loved Dawnrise. He wanted to be her mate, and be there for her, to hold her, and be held by her. He smiled, hit fur flushing hotter. "Heh. Never knew" He smiled.
-
That was the one moment Vineleap ever thanked himself for his keen hearing. She loved him. She really loved him! He couldn't believe it. He wanted to ask Starclan if the cat he'd loved for so long actually loved him back. Before he knew it, he shot up and wrapped his tail as tight as he could around her, pressing his chest against hers and burrying his face in her shoulder. "I- I lo-love you too, Dawnrise..." He managed to get out. "I've loved you for a long time."
-
Vineleap smiled into her shoulder. He truly loved her and was elated that she was now his mate. He just hope she'd love him forever. That she'd never change her mind or want a better warrior or a less cowardly one. "We should head back, no?" He asked quietly. "It's getting pretty late and the clan will be worried for us if we don't wake up in the warrior's den."
-
Vineleap slept silently in the warrior's den, on his side and his tail wrapped around his mate.
-
A few minutes later, Vineleap noticed the missing spot beside him. Waking up from his dream of chasing the moon, he woke up to notice that Dawnrise wasn't beside him. Standing up and yawning, flicking his tounge a few times to get the morning taste from his mouth, he padded out to her. "Good morning, Dawnrise." He said, yawning and sitting next to her. Some of his fur was ruffled and his eyes still had bags under them. But he seemed wide awake.
-
Vineleap frowned a bit. "Did you have a nightmare? If you did, you can tell me. I have a feeling you're tired." He said quietly. He had gotten plenty of sleep. Vineleap only needed a few hours and then he was up and at 'em.
-
"S-sorry." He said, feeling guilty. He didn't want to pressure her into talking about anything she didn't want to. If she wanted to talk about her night terrors, she could. But Vineleap wouldn't make her. "Hey, we still have a while before we're supposed to go on our patrols. I can tell you're still tired, why don't you get a bit more sleep?"
-
Vineleap waited for his apprentice to come, his tail wrapped around his paws.
-
Vineleap sighed. He knew she was tired, and he had ways of making her feel better about it. But whatever Dawnrise wanted, he would most certainly give it to her. "Alright." He said, his face expressionless. "I hear the fields are loaded with prey." He said, padding off to the camp exit.
-
Vineleap WAS feeling a bit hurt that she didn't trust him. Either that or she just didn't open up. But he smiled timidly to fake it; a skill he was pretty good at. He stated in his usual timid voice. "Y-yeah, totally! Don't worry about m-me, Dawnrise!"

This cat was a tom, and looked to be about the age of a warrior. But then why is he so.... cowardly? The first thing he did was make his fur bristle and dart back, unseathing his claws but not using them. This cat looked straight up wimpy and shy. He had a snow white pelt mixed with light silver, and very soft features and grass green eyes. His pelt smelled of Thunderclan, and he had a few scars on his right ear. He took a deep sniff through his stuffed nose. "W-woah!! Take it easy!!! I-I wasn't going to attack ANYTHING, I SWEAR!"
