Gingersky meowed softly to Sunstorm as she treated him, "Sunstorm, you need to control this 'daughter' of yours. She could've gotten herself, as well as you, killed!"

"Yes," he meowed. "And I did tell her that."

Gingersky just shook her head. "You did good to go after her." she told him. "I had a dream about it, and she would've been crow-food if you hadn't." She then noticed something odd about him. "Sunstorm, are you ok?" she asked.

"I guess," he replied. Then he started into a coughing fit.

"S-sunstorm!" she looked in her store for juniper berries, but found that she didn't have any. How did that happen? she thought.

Once Sunstorm had stopped coughing, Gingersky gave him a bit of honey. He ate it, but then something still didn't seem right. She thought that she felt heat coming from his body, but she wasn't sure of it. She padded outside the medicine den and looked around for Whitepaw.

Gingersky stopped when she saw Whitepaw coming towards her. She meowed softly, "Whitepaw, it seems I'm out of juniper berries. I hadn't seen my supply of them getting low but-" she stopped when she heard Sunstorm start coughing again. "Nevermind that, I need you to collect some. And you should take Bloodpaw with you."

She looked around and whispered in his ear, "I don't want Bloodpaw to be around Sunstorm right now." She whispered even softer, hoping that no-one but the two of them would hear what she said. "He may be getting sick with something easily treatable," Or worse, she thought, "But I don't want Bloodpaw to freak out." .

Gingersky purred softly "Good job," she told Whitepaw. She looked back at Sunstorm, who, thankfully, had stopped coughing. She could still feel heat pulsing from his body. She then had him eat a few of the juniper berries and gave him some feverfew. She wasn't sure what he had, but she hoped it would clear up in a little while.

She then observed Whitepaw. Where's Bloodpaw? She was supposed to be collecting the berries with him! She sighed softly, feeling bad for the young apprentice in front of her. He probably feels heartbroken, she thought.

"I know how you feel," she meowed softly.

Gingersky stared at the young apprentice. Did he just... She purred softly, "I'm sorry, Whitepaw. You're right, I don't understand. I'm just glad that you can talk again though."

Sunstorm meowed, his voice cracking as if he hadn't used it for seasons, "You're very strong, Whitepaw. Don't let things get you down so easily. And I'm also glad that your voice has been returned to you. I think that Starclan took it away because they wanted to teach you something. What do you think you've learned, Whitepaw?"

Gingersky looked down at the young apprentice. "Hush, young one," she meowed as she gave him a red colored berry. She looked over to see that Sunstorm was asleep, and meowed gently, "Eat it, and you'll sleep." For a long time, she added silently.
