OOC: I made a new character since Tumblestripe died and his name is Sunstorm. You can check out the sign-up thread for Rippleclan if you want to know more about him.
IC: Sunstorm padded softly through the forest carrying a blackbird. He stopped when he saw Whitepaw a few tail-lengths from him.
Sunstorm meowed a greeting.
-
"Would you like to hunt with me?" Sunstorm asked Whitepaw.
-
"Great job!" Sunstorm praised Whitepaw. "It's getting late, we should head back to camp. We can hunt together another day," he meowed and started back to camp.
Gingersky padded outside of the medicine den for some fresh air. She knew how Whitepaw must've felt, so she didn't stop him when he had gone out of camp.
When the two cats, Sunstorm headed towards the medicine den and offered Gingersky the blackbird, which she happily accepted.
-
Gingersky looked at the two apprentices sleeping together. Just for tonight, she thought. She knew that Stormpaw had disobeyed her, but she didn't want to wake Bloodpaw. She decided to go talk to Sunstorm, who was sitting at the edge of camp. She began padding towards him.
-
Gingersky sat down next to Sunstorm and spoke in hushed tones with him. A few minutes passed by, and she stood up. She then padded to her den to get some sleep.
-
Sunstorm woke up and looked around in the warrior's den. Rainshadow was gone. He padded outside the den and saw that Stormpaw and Bloodpaw were also gone. This can't be good. He raced out of camp, fearing it was too late.
-
Sunstorm ran like the wind, and soon reached the border, his heartbeat barely faster than it was in his sleep. He picked up his clanmates' fresh scents and ran after them. He caught up with Stormpaw and Rainshadow and hissed softly to himself, "If only apprentices would listen more." Good thing that Whitepaw isn't here, he thought.
-
Sunstorm hissed, "He might kill her even if we're not there." He quickened his pace, nearing DeathClan camp.
-
Sunstorm skidded to a halt when he saw Bloodpaw coming. "Thank Starclan!"
-
OOC: Yeah, Sunstorm is kinda ignoring what just happened to Stormpaw
IC: Sunstorm padded up to Bloodpaw and meowed cautiously but confidently, "Are you ok, Bloodpaw? Leopardstar didn't hurt you, did he?"
-
"Bloodpaw? Are you ok?" Sunstorm repeated. He padded towards her and sniffed, making sure she was not injured.
-
Sunstorm stood between the two young cats. "Enough," he meowed firmly. He turned to Vixen, "Get away from here, I don't know where you live now, the barn I suppose, but go back to it." He turned back to his clanmates. "The rest of you, lets get back to camp. Now," he told them.
-
Sunstorm turned and began padding in the direction of camp behind the others. He beckoned Stormpaw to follow.
-
Sunstorm walked beside Bloodpaw and whispered softly, "I know this may be a bit sudden, but you can always talk to me. You can think of me as your father, if you'd like." He rested his tail on her shoulder comfortingly and purred.
-
Sunstorm nodded. "If you'd like."
-
Sunstorm purred loudly. "I'd love a daughter," he replied.
He quickened his pace. "We should really be getting back to camp. They must be worried," he meowed, stifling a yawn.
-
As they crossed the border and approach their camp, Sunstorm was relieved to see none of their other clanmates around. So they must not have noticed that we left, he thought. Thank Starclan When they entered camp, Sunstorm lightly nuzzled Bloodpaw's head.
"Goodnight," he meowed softly.
-
Sunstorm padded softly into the warriors' den and curled up in his nest. It had been a very long day, for sure. I wish I could take Whitepaw out for training, he thought. But he needs to rest and heal. And Bloodpaw, too. He then realized there weren't going to be many cats available for hunting, and fresh-kill was already scarce as it was. Also, there wouldn't be many cats to guard camp from an attack. He somehow fell asleep that night, even with so many things troubling him.
-
Sunstorm came out from the warriors' den and stretched. He looked around camp, blinking the early morning light from his eyes.
-
Sunstorm sat down next to Streamfur and asked her, "What is it?"
