It was a good thing the Doctor Apprentice had recovered so abruptly, though rather strange. Allowing himself to relax a little, the male, too decided to plop down. "S'alright," the Knight replied with a shrug. "I'm the one who ran into you," the silver-furred male added, flashing a bit of a grin. True, Tess had sort of over-reacted (or at least from Quickpaw's point of view), though the apprentice himself was also somewhat to blame for accidentally provoking him.

Plus, this was, like, a party, right? The cheetah was rather fond of parties. Racing over to the group, the young Knight would hang back just a little at first, removing his goggles from his face so that they hung around his neck.

Thanks to his speed, the cheetah avoided most attacks, but there were still so many of the little buggers... It really wasn't too long before he himself was bitten, right on this shoulder. Yelping and shaking the rat off, Quickpaw carried on, sinking his teeth into the rat that had bitten him.

Amber eyes fixated upon the other male, offering another half-smile- the sort that looked almost a bit smirk-ish, pulling at only one of the corners of his mouth.

However, he never really got to run with anyone else, and the cub honestly thought it would be fun to try competing against others. So, here he was, standing at the doors of the hotel, calling out(though not too loudly, as he had been told off more than once for his loud music and didn't think it'd be a good idea to be found screaming instead), "Anybody wanna race?"

Peering over the shoulders as he hopped from paw to paw, the cheetah would the glance briefly at Tess and then Ketchup, offering, "Need any help?" Often they'd have other small tasks, like fetching water or whatever, so the apprentice figured he might as well see if he could help in any way.

With a huff the cheetah continued to merely watch, paws prickling with impatience. He felt bad for the kit, of course, though it was just standing by without anything to do that began to make him fidgety.

S'pose it's only fair, since I'm uh, y'know, a cheetah and all," Quickpaw would reason with a grin, nodding to the Blueblood as she arrived, since her answer would be the same as the one he just gave moments ago.
