There were many things that just hands down freaked Flute out beyond her wits end, powers such as shape shifting and telepathy, the first signs of anger or even being within a large crowd. It was for this reason that she almost always stayed with her brother or within the nursery den, not leaving either by more then a few meters before she was scared by thought and reduced to a cowering ball of sobbing mess. There had only been one time that she had not been away further but it was not to be repeated anytime soon. She had only gone a few steps, merely into the trees where she had seen a squirrel but not far enough to be out of sight of Blue who seemed to be content doing his own thing while she did hers for a little minute. Then there was a cry. One so familiar to her yet she had never heard anything of the sort. Her brother. There was something the matter with Blue. It was only now that she had realized that she had come down a slope in order t reach the squirrel, one that when she tried she could not get back up because of the dense low lying Brambles. By the time that she had hauled herself up, squealing all the up through the thorns a crowd had already gathered around the husky. All she saw was blood and exposed flesh and crimson stained fur, all her brothers. Without second through she broke through the mess of feet of those sending around him and straight to his head, screeching all the way until by his head. There she desperately nuzzled and cried in hope to wake him but he seemed as if some form of sleep yet his eyes were open a little. She could not understand. His tail was caught between the teeth of something, it seemed dead now but her Blue still was not free from it. Panic came about as she desperately tried to make all well again. Blue was strong, he was big, he was clever. This sort of thing didn't happen to him! His little sister needed him.

No matter how soft and gentle Pocketwatch's ushering was Flute was determined and scared, her brother was hurt and she didn't want him to be anymore. She still wasn't sure what was going on or what was going to happen, she just thought that he was dying, something terrible but she couldn't let him! The little cub stayed still, only stumbling a little when nudging came about but returning to her place when she could but this time flopping over Blue's nose and growling at those who stood around, she was staying with him as long as she could, just like he would in this situation if it were her. Still squeaking and screeching the little leopardess did her best to try and sooth her brother, make him feel better but she was scared as well.

Flute had to think for a minute as she looked around at what was a stunningly beautiful territory to witness by the eye but what if all that she could see was black~? What if it was like none of this excised? At first she just thought that everything would be miscible, that there would be no point in trying to enjoy things but then she remembered that Pocketwatch was blind and she didn't seem like the sort of person just to sit back, not doing anything. In fact she defiantly wasn't, really she was one of the most active members within the clan. "I think..." The cub pondered quietly, though all of her mental thought she knew would most likely be heard by the ghost tabby "If I were blind...I would be a upset at first...I don't like the dark...You can't see anything but maybe...maybe I would get used to it...and learn to live it...I wouldn't feel any different from anybody else unless people made me feel like I was..."

Without even noticing the one who was watching her at first, the little cub found that the bubbles were rather distracting. As she began to become more and more fascinated with them the camp around her sort of disappeared and became some distant world that had no links to her. She was utterly captured by the trance set upon her by the floating orbs that were wet and soapy and glistered like a watery star. For the life of her the 2 moon old could not understand how they had come to be nor what they were made of, what they were made from, she had just found this tube of mixture somewhere and now here she was, making watery jewels. One by one, she popped them as soon as they were make then made more and repeated the process over and over again. Then, when spinning around to catch a pesky bubble that had gone behind her she noticed a rather large version of herself. or rather a snow leopard at least. Steropaw had transformed into a snow leopard in front of her but, still, it stopped her in her tracks. Slowly, the youngster started to back off, wanted to put distance between her and the stranger and hopefully the den if she could make it that far. Her little body trembled as she stooped low, not taking her wide blue eyes away from the similarly bodied apprentice as she didn't want to take any risks. Anger, violence, being hurt were her biggest fears.

Admittedly, though flute spent most of her time on the beach, she had never really found herself to be in the water all that much. There had been that one time when she was with Blue when the incoming waves had knocked her from his belly and to the beach but that was not really being in the water, that was really just being licked by it. Nothing more. She had decided that it was best at sometime to get n the water but after that incident she had added it to her list of fears as it had made her feel all cold and horrible, it wasn't very nice at all. And anyway, it was very big, the ocean and it was all the same. What if she got lost? Or the wave over came her? What would she do then? A little bit of courage could be found because of one thing and one thing only, her brother, as always. For most of the morning she had been running around like a headless chicken after loosing track of him after he got caught in the fox trap, she knew he was alive because he had heard him but didn't know where he was. Finally his voice came loud and clear from the beach and without stopping for anything the youngster sprinted to him, jumping from the small dunes and across the sands to her brother. Once by him she squeaked happily and nuzzled his cheek his her own, big blue eyes smiling in relief that he seemed to be alright. Although in cat form, he was still rather comforting to cuddle up to.

To say that the night was peaceful would be wrong, it was anything but. That was the least of Flute’s problems though; there were much more sinister forth-comings on the horizon. It was no secret that the little cub could very easily be scared and when that happened she liked to cuddle up to her brother, Blue, for protection and warmth because he had always made her feel safe in time of terror that came around frequently. When he had been made a trainee shaman however, things had changed a little because he did not sleep in the same den as her anymore which freaked her out a little. Rather a lot actually, nightmares ran repent through her mind every time the sun went down. Some nights she did not sleep but instead cowered in the corner of the shelter, trying not to wake the others. Mentally, it strained her but it happened so often that it just because second nature to expect it.
Upon this particular night a storm raged with full force. Fear struck her with a lightning bolt and the thunder rattled her bones as she quivered restlessly against the cold stone walls that proved to be no barrier to the torrents of rain pounding the outside but instead let drip, drip, drip fall upon her head as if to tease her. The leopardess waited the long moments between witnessing the violent flash and hearing the deafening rumble, barely able to breathe for a bloodcurdling screech she thought would be her last choked her unbearably. There was not much of this the youngster could take and with the next passing strike of thunder she found herself out with the nursery, exposed to the elements in search of the shamans den in the hope of sneaking in and cuddling up next to him. But with every bolt of StarClan’s rage the darkness seemed to grow deeper and more impenetrable. It was not hard for her to lose her way and through the black she stumbled with the rain never ceasing to hit her, dart after dart. By the time that she stopped her mindless dash she had come to a small cavern that at first she assumed was the den of the healers but once inside it was evidently not. Blue was not here. For a few moment the kit rested there, searching with her large ice-blue eyes for any sign of the camp but the night had swallowed it whole.
Not a long distance away a tree was stuck by the long white arm from the sky and within a moment came crashing down at the entrance, knocking loose the front potion and sealing the opening with the rubble. Flute was thrown out of the way and upon the back wall of the cave as any light that the lightning had provided was sapped totally with not much in the way of gap in the newly formed barricade. In short, she was trapped by a thick wall of stone. Separated from her clan completely. It took a few second for her to pick herself up from the dust floor, her fur heavy with rain water and head spinning from a concussion but the sudden realization hit her like a ton of bricks. There was no way out. To the door she rushed and screeched her hardest though whether she would be heard through the thick wall was another matter, trying to shift the boulders many times her size from their place by scratching on the side of them but without luck. It might be morning before any of the others realized she concluded. Then something came around her back paws. Water was flooding in and had already created a puddle by her feet. It seemed there was a spring in here of a sort. Time was not something that she had anymore but she could not help but question whether the others would find her before a fate of drowning did. -

The little leopardess continued to scratch and scream, hearing an identical noise coming from the other side of the stone wall and the voices of two people she knew. Pocketwatch and Blue, they always seemed to be the one to find her. But this time it seemed it might not be in in enough time. Flute had only had one swimming lesson and that was not a lot. No matter how hard she tried she just couldn't get enough power to fight the torrent of water coming in and soon not the energy either, especially as she was still feeling a little woozy from her bashed head. Nevertheless she continued to call out for her her brother and supposed sister as well then the wall broke and Blue scrambled through. At this point she was freezing cold, exhausted, sore and terrified, the water would have been over her head had she not done her best to keep herself afloat. But the husky jaws grabbed her by the scruff and she gave a weak squeak to her brother as she lay limply there, looking down at the deep, deep water below her.

Hi guys :) One of my clan mates in the Skulls did this and I thought it might be quite interesting here :) The activity is to make your character but human form :) I used this site ( http://tektek.org/dream_avatar/ ) and the picture below is my impression of Flute in human form :) Have fun :)

Awww :) He's really cute :)

For a moment it just seemed to be all a daze, the little leopard just hung there, not moving or making a noise because she knew that her brother was close, she only shook and trembled involuntarily. When she was dropped down she half knew what was coming, Blue had done the same when they were at the beach and she had gotten a cold but now it was like her whole body was a giant quivering ice block. The scarf helped, not a lot but at least it got her dry and reassured but not as much as Blue bringing her close did. Very gently she started to paw his fur, whining a little at the sight of the injury on his shoulder. She couldn't help but feel a little guilty at effectively giving it to him by getting him to break into the cave, the las thing she wanted was for him to get hurt, him and pocket it seemed. Both had saved her.

Thank you Blue :) Everybody's is looking great :)

Yeah :) Please may I have the family cloak and would it possible to have a purple conch necklace on as well, please?

It was quite clear that everybody here was a little annoyed with her now or at very least not in the best of moods and she couldn't help but feel like folding inward on herself, even from Blue who was shriving badly just like her. On the one hand she felt terribly guilty for doing what she had done and running, how hard was it to find the shaman den? Really? Even through the dark and the rain, surely she could have found it had she been a little calmer? Was stupid of her for doing what she had done, stupid that she had been so scared? Most likely. That only made her feel worse. It would not be something she forgot though. Slowly, the little cub found her feet and stood, padding forward and under Blue in her normal placing under his chest though both of them were shaking terribly. Had she only been bigger she would have liked have been the one to shield him from the rain, show that she did not mean to get him hurt or cold but she couldn't and the youngster couldn't think of any other way to begin earning some sort of forgiveness by staying out of trouble. Doing as he said might be a good beginning she thought.

There were many in the clan with questions over their heads as to what had happened in their past, Flute was one only she knew, she had seen what had happened to her parents. Sometimes she wished that she didn't know, that she had the pleasure of a mystery on that front but it was impossible to, not matter how hard she tried. It seemed that Tinkerbell did have that luxury however and wanted to know her mother who was not one of the clan apparently. Flute could not help but feel a little jealous, at least she had the chance of her mother being alive. The little cub bowed her head, not really wanting to listen anymore and turned away to be with her brother again. Here in this clan she had her new family, she had been adopted and she was happy but sometimes the thought came back with a hard blow.
