    Christina smiled slightly at the man, watching him stutter nervously as he noticed her. "It's fine. Most people make that mistake when they see me. I have that kind of effect on most people." As she spoke, she could see that he was incredibly nervous, and she took a small sip of her whiskey when it arrived, twirling a stand of hair around her finger. "My name's Christina. What's yours?"

    Christina smiled as the man introduced himself as Barnaby, taking another sip of the drink in her hand. "Nice to meet you too." She looked up at the television talking about more people getting sick and dying, and she inhaled sharply before looking back at Barnaby. "What the hell is wrong with the world now? All that's being shown lately is just illnesses and death. I'm sure that something is going on now..." She shook her head until she realized that Barnaby was still there, and she down the rest of her whiskey before promptly ordering a second. "Sorry about that whole.. mini rant. I guess I'm just making a big deal about this... whole situation."


    Esther's green gaze swept around the room until she saw some boy glancing over at her. She smiled slightly at him, looking down at the ground for a second. She bit her lower lip. Esther was always the one to get noticed by other people, due to her reserved and shy nature. Maybe taking a different approach was worth a shot. She slowly made her way over to the boy, cracking her knuckles nervously. "H-hi. I-I hope I'm not... bothering you or.... anything."

    Esther smiled as the boy, Ethan, said that he was thinking of a way to talk to her before she came over. She watched as he pulled out a chair for her, and she sat down, pushing her hair out of her face. "T-thank you. My name's Esther."


    Christina nodded along with what Barnaby said, almost drinking all of her whiskey before she said, "I figure that if I was one of those ill people, I would probably just tell them to keep me in private. It shouldn't matter that you're sick or you're dying. Sometimes people just like to leave in peace without having the news harassing them all the time."

    Esther smiled at Ethan's comment about her name and his name, and she quickly noticed his awkwardness. "It's okay. I-I'm not very social myself..." it took her a few seconds to think of something to talk about other than the obvious. "S-so... what are you doing here at a bar like this? You don't look like the drinking. Then again, I'm not either."

    Esther watched as Ethan's friend approached with a pizza they apparently had ordered beforehand, then her gaze strayed fromEthan to watch the other boy leave, glued to his disappearing figure for a few seconds, her head tilted to the side in curiosity. Sure, she may not be the best at social situations, but as a wingwoman more than once–that was correct, right?–she knew that no one should abandon their friend in any situation. Then, she turned back to Ethan, smiling slightly. "You don't look like you're 18, though... but that might just be me. I'm not the drinking type either. My sister Christina is the one that can drink till she drops." As she finished speaking, she motioned to where Christina was, sitting near a boy. They seemed to be talking deeply about something. Esther saw that her sister had a drink in her hand with another one on the bar, and she shook her head.

    Esther smiled at Ethan as he commented on her sister, and she turned back to her for a split second, watching her finish the second and place it on the table. You have got to be kidding me, Christina. I am not going to be driving you home later. Turning back to Ethan, she saw his cheeks turn red, and she leaned forward a bit, biting her lower lip in thought. "Interests... what is there to say, really? I'm pretty artsy... in the sense on literature. I'm that geek in class that knows the answer to every English question, gets all the participation points... that sort of thing."

    Esther laughed lightly at Ethan's mentioning of her looks making to easier to get around, though there was the voice in the back of her head that was questioning everything he was saying. Does he think I'm pretty? "Please, that's more of Christina than me. She was the popular one, the one to have boys and girls alike swooning over her. She was always the one to get all the attention, the bribery, the hot boys. I was the one that was belittled. My looks weren't really helping. I was the one with personality, while she was the one with the looks, and...you can see how that turned out."

    Esther smiled at Ethan, nodding along with his words. She tucked a strand of blonde hair behind her ear, glancing around at the people that accumulated in the bar before turning back to Ethan. Then, she watched him offer the food on the table. "Don't mind if I do," she said jokingly before mirroring Ethan's action and grabbing a piece of pizza with a napkin before taking a bite. "So," Esther asked between bites of her food, "what do you think about the... disease spreading?"

    Congratulatoons! If you are receiving this letter, you have been accepted into Eastwood Academy located in the heart of Massachusetts, where only the best of the best thrive. Here, you can put your skills to use, and connect with other students that come from across the globe. You are put in the classes that suit you best to ensure that you get the best education possible. Of course, it is not always the in-school academics that will keep you at the Academy. You can also join after-school clubs and activities to truly let your creativity show. This year will begin with the annual Admission's Fair to meet your professors and fellow students.

    - this is a mature thread, so there will be drugs and alcohol, strong language, etc.

She loves nature, and often spends time outside on campus after classes late at night. Angeline is incredibly smart, and creative, though she is in regular classes. More often than not, she feels as if she no longer as control at times, and, due to her anxiety, suffers panic attacks when she is alone, stressed, or overwhelmed in general.

When she was born, her mother was just graduating from college, and her father ended up getting a job as a lawyer. Despite her family's high income, Angeline grew up modest, never wanting to buy the expensive clothes and accessories that she always had the money for. By the time her younger sister was born, she and her parents had moved to Massachusetts against Angeline's will, and she never really cared for the house. When she entered elementary school, she caught on to the lessons quicker than the other kids, but she was often teased about her skin and how nerdy and creative she was.


    By middle school, her natural charm started to wear off, and the teasing turned into bullying. She was made fun of by the way she talked, the way she dressed, and other factors including her parents' divorce that contributed to her dwindling grades. Things got out of control to the point where she ended up developing anxiety and fell into depression, cutting her wrists every week and starving herself four times a week. She couldn't sleep most nights, had no energy in the morning, and skipped school to extended periods for the first year.


    Thankfully, her mother found out and took her to the ER when she found Angeline passed out on the bathroom floor, and she was prescribed medication to help her get better, and she has learned to live past that part of her life, going on to be top of her class in high school.

    Esther smiled slightly, though it honestly felt incredibly forced, as Meena showed her a picture of her dog, Bruno, a Labrador. She looked so happy there, it was almost impossible to believe that the girl had gone through the same thing that the 21-year-old had. When her roommate asked her about anything big she left behind, all the brunette could do for seemingly endless minutes was think, her eyes focused intently on one spot of the table, glazing over slightly.


    What were the biggest things she left behind? She didn't have any pets unless she counted the family dog. Her parents, sure, since they were the ones that saved her... saved her from herself. Her older sister, Rachel. That one was a given; she was one of the only people she knew that kept her alive. The friends she had during high school, but there were only 2 that really kept in contact once her depression officially took hold of her. She was never missed by the rest of them. They were happy to have her gone. Just like everyone else she knew.


    Esther hadn't realized how long she had spaced out until she saw small puddles on the wood table. She looked up at Meena, her image suddenly blurred, and wiped the tears away with her fingertips. "Sorry, I must've... I think I... spaced out for a-a few minutes..." She cleared her throat out of embarrassment as her words began shaking. She turned her head away for a quick second, her hair framing her face, feeling something more than the emptiness she often felt.


    "I-I didn't really leave much behind when I started attending college... except for my parents and my older sister... the only friends that gave a shit about me and actually cared if I lived or died, and the family dog if you want to count her. I often don't, since she wasn't really mine to begin with."
