(Just wanted to say, faaaar more to my characters than that, but you'll just have to wait to see what. Also, I might not be on that often, and if you would, please fill no more than a page when I am gone so that I may catch up easily.)

Noah ran his hand down the wall as he walked past patient's rooms, the smoke from his cigarette rose into the air into a puff. He peered into each room at the sleeping aliens that looked so much like humans. He brushed his dark hair away from his face and his death stick was being held in his mouth with his teeth. The stick of drugs clung to him like he was wrapped in a blanket of the smoke that slowly was poisoning him, but he didn’t care. He knocked on one of the locked doors, his access key had been forgotten, again so he had to rely on someone else to open the doors, he would have been likely he hadn’t been fired if he wasn’t so smart.

As the drugs wore off Anai’s eyes opened, but she laid still, almost relaxed. If her captors had wanted her dead she would be dead so she had no reason to worry, but she peered towards the door, waiting for someone. They had to know she was awake by now…

Waking up was difficult enough for Toan, but having a needle stuck in him made him wary so he called out for someone to use his skills on.
“Anyone? Is anyone there?" His voice was musical and soft, siren like.

Kas woke up with bonds on him and his heart beat slowed to normal. So he sped it up, thrashing, a loud growl ripped it’s way out of his unused throat. The monitor’s beeping sped up while his brain slowed to a calming level and he could finally think. Where was he? Where were they? What happened? Where was the ship?

Kas didn’t respond, he was floating peacefully in his mind as his heart rate went back down to normal, getting him off his high. “Some lab facility, someone is studying us. Drugs have been pumped into us for days, probably. Now relax Siren, someone will be along to ask for information.” He muttered softly and then pulled his arms up the chains snapping taunt. He increased the strain on the chains by lifting them up more and having them stretch more and more.

Noah knocked on the door again and took the cigarette out of his mouth and crushed it under his boot. “Hey, Hazel. Let me in, I forgot my keys again. Hazel, come one.” He pleaded banging on the door.

Ania awoke with her muscles screaming at her to move, but all she could do was crane her head up and looked over at an angel that was still under the influence of drugs. “Come on little boy, wake up.” She said just soft enough for to seem kind, but it wasn’t it was out of necessity. “Prince, prince. Wake up.” Her voice oozed charm, but it was all fake. She had to get out of here, the only question was how.

Toan laid flat and started humming a tune, a siren's song to lure someone to his door. Anyone. He had to know he wasn't alone so he knew he could munipulate them. Twelve or not, he was still smart.
(That's cool, I'm sure I'll have more to do with him later.)

Kas could feel himself falling again, his heart beat slowed down, down, down, down. He thrashed furiously and the chains snapped with a metal grinding sound. “We aren’t on the ship.” He ripped his IV out. “We aren’t anywhere we know.” He broke the restraints on his feet and stood up, he needed to do something. Something quick. Something now. Before he lost his mind. “Earth was our destination. We were too close not to be there.”

Noah smiled. “I told you so, I told you so. I predicted this five flipping minutes ago! And you didn’t take me seriously!” He put another death stick in his mouth and lit it with a sigh, he knew they were bad for him and that’s why he was doing it. You only live once right? “Now, what were you thinking? Dissection? Questioning?”

Ania rolled her eyes. “Not happening.” She looked over at the two scientists. “Now to forgo the torture, what questions do you have?” She wrinkled her nose at the smell of smoke. Was something on fire?

“Nope, the winged guy can have you.” Noah said rolling his eyes at Hazel’s strictness. The variables in the experiment didn’t matter, it was what came out of it and he was sure that the main result would be the same. So he pulled out another cancer stick and and stuck it in his mouth, but didn’t light it. “Happy now, princess? Now let’s watch them.”

Kas shrugged and his brown wings spread out behind him. “Don’t worry about that, Siren.” He smiled, but it was too large for his face and he started to pick the lock with the end of the needle. “I’ll get us out of here, just sit tight. I’m your guardian angel now, after all.”

“Oh, yeah you do sweetheart.” Kas muttered and heard a click to unlock the door, then turned back to her. “Do you want your hands or feet because I can’t choose both of them. For my own safety. No one is my guardian angel, after all.” He kept up that insane grin, his hair swinging into his face and covering different parts of his blue eyes.

Noah grinned at the two angelic beings. “Howdy there, I’m Noah, she’s Hazel and you aren’t getting a steady flow of drugs anymore. What a smoke? It doesn't taste good and it causes cancer."

Anai watched them carefully with narrowed eyes. “And if we didn’t? Are you sure we couldn’t just escape, you have no clue what we can do. I might be able to shape shift or something. How would you know?”

Noah batted at Hazel’s hand. “I’m the fun guy, she’s the not so fun girl. Ever. So you can pick, me or her, but if you choose her you’re going to have a bad time. Especially if you get her angry, she’s a demon if you get her angry. Worse than a demon.”

Kas raised an eyebrow. “Chaos? I’m all in, sugar. All in.” He broke the chains on her feet and walked over to the door swinging open. “Which way, Ms.Brain? We’re getting out of here. Now.”

(Night guys.... I'll rp more tomorrow! I might be able to write one more post...)

"Well duh." Kas said rolling his eyes, the insane smile coming back on his face. "That's the point, sugar. Can I call you sugar? Of course I can. Let's go." He started to jog out of the room.

Anai thought about it for a moment. Nothing was real. This wasn't real. That meant... this was all a game. All of it, however they had learned none of their rules. So it was time to think. Her red hair fell into her face as she thought, her wings tucking around her.

"I have a plan, Brains, weren't you listening? Chaos! Controlled chaos!" As he ran he knocked down things and acted like a true crazy man. He loved this feeling, heart racing, his mind calm. "Here's what we do, you hold the door open so it can't lock, and I'll break the chains on everyone!" Kas exclaimed his insane grin growing wider.

Anai struggled to keep silent. That was their Prince! Did they even grasp what they were doing here?! If they damaged his wings too much... He'd be seen as an outcast. He'd be mocked! Hated! But a war would begin between the Earth and home to avenge the Prince who would be viewed as dead in social status. She would have spoken up if Raziel hadn't told her to do otherwise, she was loyal to the Prince and only the Prince.

Noah paused. "Hey, Haze, don't you think you're going over board there?" He asked litting his death stick out of nervous habit, it made Anai cough who was across the room, but Noah didn't seem to care.
"We've got other people to check on." He reminded her carefully. "This is a bust, let's just get going. They'll want to tell us more when they're starting to get hungry..."

Kas skidded to a stop, bare feet squeaking on the tile floor, and then he backed up. He’d never felt this level of adrenaline, the feeling and need to escape that nearly overwhelmed him, but unlike anyone else in their situation his mind was calm. “We’ll wait here, there are two unchained people, without wings, inside that room.” The lack of wings were strange in itself, but there wasn’t any time to question it. “I can take care of them when they get out of here, Sugar.”

“Anai. I’m Anai.” She spoke up seeing this as her chance to save herself. “Maybe we can find a way to make this work out for all of us.” She suggested her voice was as soft and alluring as any siren, but not with the magic sewn into it that made it deadly.
She didn’t like Hazel very much, but could tell that under different circumstances they could have been friends, their quick mind and sharp tongue would have brought them closer to each other. In this set of circumstances, however, they would clash unless one of them showed restraint, and Ania could guess it wouldn’t be Hazel.

Something very strange happened to Noah. He grew silent, watching Hazel and the two angelic experiments. He puffed out more smoke, and watched as Anai and the other one coughed again, his mind went to the place it always did, the end of this test. They could be destroying the trust of a whole species by doing this.

“Hell yes!” Kas exclaimed. “I’m going in there, Sugar, you can stay out here if you’re too scared.” He taunted with a smirk. The siren’s power seemed to crash over him like a wave crashing on to the shore, but he didn’t act effected by it. There were, however, giveaways that it was affecting him, his pupils dilated, his breathing increased, the insane smile fell to a more normal smile. He could have looked cute if the insane glint in his eyes had vanished too.

Noah nodded. “Be safe, Haze. I’ll watch these two like a hawk.” He winked and blew out another puff of smoke earning another cough from Raziel. He had more cigarettes back in his room than his lungs could take and he knew he’d end up smoking all of the packets. Even if Hazel decided to stomp out this one, he had a few more in his pocket. His habit didn’t control his life, now that he had all the death sticks he could want, he controlled his habit.

Anai barely made her chains rattle as she moved, her small body made for a lot more room than anyone else and for that she was thankful. But she was very tall and that made for her small size, her feet were flat against the end of the bed.
She narrowed her eyes as she watched Hazel start to leave. “What about seeing the others? We told you what you wanted.”

Even the insane glint in his eyes disappeared for a moment when her siren call overwhelmed him, but he pulled himself away from her, and the insanity came back. “Hell, Ma’am, where are your wings? Cut them off or something?” He asked looking the scientist up and down before lunging at her to attack, his strong hands gripped Hazel’s arms tightly. “No need to try to make me leave, Sugar. I’ve got this.” He winked at the siren and then grinned insanely down at Hazel, he was nearly a foot taller than her. “You’ll be telling us everything we want to know now.”

(I’m not going to play Noah and Anai talking since they’re my own characters. Unless Raziel starts talking to them. Is that okay? I just don’t want to talk to myself.)

Kas was doubled over, groaning in pain, but he heard the Siren. “Hey, now we can run.” He nodded standing straight painfully. He faked hitting Hazel with his wing knowing the short women would duck then he took off running. Pain still throbbed all the way up into his stomach, but running was the most important thing, he grabbed the siren’s hand as his wings spread out to fly, but there wasn’t room and the ends of his wings scraped the sides of the walls as he ran. “Window, window, we need to find a window and get out!” He exclaimed, the insane smile on his face as adrenalin pumped through his body.

Noah shrugged, “I don’t really have a clue.” He stomped out his own cigarette, but a last bit of smoke rose from it before it went out. “Hazel is a real piece of work, if you ask me.” He paused and fidgeted. “But she can be cool, sometimes. She’s just a workaholic, especially with your ship crashing.”

Noah sighed and walked outside with a bored expression donned on his featured. "Okay, doing it now Hazel Grace." He mocked the book/ movie that had been a tear jerker for everyone. The strange idea of making these aliens watch it and promise them that they would shut it off only after they had given him and the other scientists what they needed to know, popped into his mind. But in his mind he'd keep playing the movie, ignoring their please for it to stop so that these mutants could know the true meaning of pain.

Kas shook his head. "No, we can't go back. If we go back to our room we won't be able to leave, the door will be locked. Memorize what you see now, this may be our only chance!" He said quickly running faster, his wings flapped a few times out of habit. He pulled the Siren along behind him, the contact felt so good, it wasn't a smack or a hit or a punch, all the things he was use to. It was gentle, kind even, but he had to ignore it. There were more important things to do.

"Not dying is what I do best, Sugar, and staying in that room is a big no-no for me. Wide, big open spaces dodging bullets is where I love to be." That insane glint was sparkling in his eyes and he kept running. "How many times do I have to say it sweetie? I'm your Guardian Angel." He smirked.

Noah rolled his eyes. "No Haze. Stop annoying the test subjects. That's my job!" He laughed at his own joke. "Now let's get out of here before you and the winged boy get your freak on."

(Going to sleep soon! And I might not be on for the next week or so, my mom and I are going on a trip! YAY!)

(LOL!!! I saw the fault in our stars a few weeks ago! I was joking.)

"None, right?" Anai asked a sneer rising to her face. "Now that you've had your fun, why not tell us the rules of your little game?"

"Abomination? You're stealing my best line!" He said mock offended. He slowed down to a jog. "Look, Sugar. Siren, angel, Keala or some have mutant, fish freak thing, it doesn't matter anymore. None of it. It's just dust in the wind. You're small, pretty, but you don't have a clue on how to fight. That's where I come in, as your guardian angel. We meet any guys on the way and I'll let you at them as long as you let me do my thing I'll let you do yours."

Noah held the door open for her as they left. "There's still the little boy, or the two on their test run. Which do you feel like tackling first? Because I want to blow off some steam and fire my gun for once." He lit a new death stick and put it in his mouth.

Noah laughed and bumped her with his shoulder while taking his cigarette back from her. "I do smoke like a chimney, but at least I'm a cute chimney." He stuck the death stick back in his mouth and held it with his lips, he made his voice go up two octaves. "Now Kali, dear, smoking is wrong and bad and you should never do it! Listen to your mother! Now let's go find the runaways and give them a what for!" But while he acted normal, he acted too normal, laughed too much. But never could he keep the growing sadness out of his eyes. The kind of hopelessness that was only seen by those in the hospital, it was a look of death.

He stopped completely and let go of her. "Make a fist." He ordered suddenly.

"Uh, Haze..." Noah started to said, he put his cigarette out and tucked it behind his ear. If Noah stopped smoking for this, it was to be a serious talk. One that Hazel probably wouldn't like too much if Noah was also using Hazel's nickname in addition to not smoking.

"To prove to me and yourself that you can fight. I'm not just some stupid soldier going out there to die, and you're not a pathetic siren. Now punch me, Sugar cube and show me how you are not weak. You have to have some fire in there somewhere!" The insanity seemed to have intensified when he talked about her hitting him like it would really be fun in an insane kind of way.

But Noah bailed out at the last minute. "We should get going, they might ruin everything if we let them go too far." He stuck the cigarette back in his mouth and lit it again. He was officially a weak willed coward, but telling your best friend, and practically sister that you had cancer was terrifying.

Kas shook his head. "That's not good enough, and this is fighting, not flirting at a bar." He guided her hand to right under his jaw. "Hit me there, in an uppercut. You're short so you can reach it better, and it should knock someone out if you do it right." It was like he spoke from experience, and he had. He had grown up in some rough places. "But don't worry about knocking me out. I don't pass out. Not when I'm like this." The crazy glint in his eye, the insane smile was what he meant by 'this.'

Kas smiled even wider as he felt a small bruise form. "You're ready! Now let's go!" Then he took her hand and started to drag her along again as he ran down the hallway making every turn he could that wouldn't lead them back to the same place.

Pain echoed through his bones and he felt like stopping half way down, but kept going. He wasn't going to allow some silly pain to stop him, he never had before. When they reached the bottom they came face to face with the two runaways.
